5/5Bought at the end of September but never left a review then.Just did the first service this weekend. Due to the wait they did give me a discount which I was not expecting.I drive an hour to go here since I trust them more than my local Subaru dealer. Dealers are more expensive but it is worth the peace of mind. Laura in sales was great to work with. The service advisor Nick V was very helpful.

Went here a couple days ago and my salesman, jim, was super friendly and extremely helpful. He was able to answer all of the questions I had about the different cars. He stayed over an hour and a half past closing to help me purchase my car and stayed even longer to help me learn how to use it. He didn t complain once. I would totally recommend this dealership and I would recommend Jim 1000%!! SHOUT OUT TO JIM!!

Called with an issue with my head unit, I was given several times that I could come by and drop my car off. Got there and everyone was very courteous as usual. I was given a loaner vehicle, given an update as soon as they knew what the issue was and picked up my car the next day since the part won't be in for a few days. Has always been a smooth experience with them.

Fantastic experience. Started engaging with the staff months ago about a possible new car for my daughter. They never pressured me and always answered my endless questions every time I stopped in. They have good teamwork to avoid having you wait to meet with your primary representative. Everything about my first purchase was excellent. Will be back for a second for my second daughter. Big shout out to Eric who was great and Jim that helped with the closing.

Took my car in for service after having some issues with the smell of burning rubber. They could not find the cause of the smell or the smoke that was coming from the front of the engine but informed me of other things that needed done totaling $2,700 which I declined. When I picked up my car Melanie Murray is who helped me and was rude. When I asked if my extended warranty covered the diagnostic charge (as it has for my husband before) she said no they may have done that as a courtesy last time but we will not today . She was very condescending throughout the entire conversation and was more concerned about getting her bonus check than she was helping me when I first walked in. Absolutely terrible customer service from her and a formal complaint was placed with corporate. We will be taking our car else where for now on as we did not like how we were talked to this service.

Went here on Wednesday to buy a car and had a great experience with Mark, super friendly and helped accommodate to everything for me and worked with for the best price. Chris helped us with the finances, was super friendly and helpful. I came back today to finish up some paperwork and I noticed my door seal wasn t fully on and they fixed it for free! It happens with used vehicles and is an easy fix but they were super helpful for fixing it! Great experience and welcoming people all around. So glad I got to purchase my car here!

Checked with parts about buying touch up paint for my 2024 legacy. The parts attendant was quick to check the availability of the paint and found it in stock. It was a very pleasant and fast process to obtain the touch up paint and the attendant was pleasant to do business with. Definitely recommend Matt Slap Subaru if you need any parts or part support for your Subaru vehicle.

Melanie was absolutely fabulous. We had several bad experiences with another Subaru dealership and decided to drive 40 miles out of our way to try out Matt Slap. Melanie even offered me a loaner car while I was waiting since I had come from so far away. Service was promptly performed.Customer service exceeded my expectations; I will definitely be back!

I recently took my forester in for service last Saturday and it was an awesome experience. The service was reasonably priced and everyone in the service department was very kind and honest. The highlight of my visit, however, was the valet named Sam. He picked up my car from me and was one of the most polite young men I have encountered in a while. He made me laugh with a funny joke and was a joy to talk to. Overall my experience with Matt Slap Subaru was wonderful and I will definitely be back. Sam and all the service people make my decision to take my Subaru to Matt Slap in the future, a no brainer.

Had a great and easy experience at Matt Slap. Jay was a great salesperson, answered all of my many questions, and gave me time to look over choices. He kept me updated as my car was built and was flexible on pickup. Chris in the finance department explained everything well, didn't push any bundles, and helped me stay in my budget. Overall, great crew & seamless experience.

I had stopped in on 10-23-23 to start looking for a Honda CRV or a Toyota Rav 4. Kevin Ellis was able to greet me, and sit down with me at his computer. After browsing the Matt Slap Sabaru website he was able to help me find the perfect vehicle a 2016 Honda CRV that had only 45,000 miles on it. Thank you Matt Slap Sabaru for all your help in getting me squared away on my vehicle purchase. A+++ work.

Lisa took great care of me and I am very happy with my nearly new car. I came out of a CRV and there's no comparison. Handling, visibilityand comfort are better in the forester, and the ride is better, too.Slap dealership was great and I'll be back!

Visited Matt Slap Subaru to get a new Forester. Lisa Reeves worked with us to finalize the deal. She was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. We used the Trade Up offer. Rest of the process went smoothly. This is my second purchase from Matt Slap and I am happy with the experience.

Thank you Cory for your help with my husband's battery. You guys were the fastest and lowest price. His battery died on the day before Thanksgiving and nobody had his size until "a few days from now" apparently his is a weird battery. But y'all were able to order one and get it there within an hour. Considering it wasn't even a Subaru I was SOOOOOOOOO happy at how quick and easy you made it. Thanks again

The least sales pressure experience I have ever had: Lisa Reeves was a professional, courteous and friendly salesperson; financing was a breeze (great options available from Subaru!) and they have great support to ensure you know how to setup, access and enjoy all the latest features. After spending an hour at a different car dealership not being helped, we went to Matt Slap. I had talking about getting a Subaru for years. We walked in and Jay greeted us immediately. We test drove a couple and found the one for us. They really worked with us on getting in the price range we wanted to be in. I have never experienced such a fast/enjoyable car buying experience before this. I love my new car and can t wait to have it for a very long time.

I am currently here in Delaware for work, and prior to coming here in January, I had my 2021 Subaru worked on at my local dealer at home in Albuquerque, NM. They repaired a broken sunroof on 12/21, it had a crack in the rear on the passenger side. Two months later, I'm here in Delaware, and the NEW sunroof cracked! I took it to Matt Slap and they examined it and found that there was no crack to the outside glass, but rather it was in the lamination...and they covered it under the part warranty for me! When I had called my local dealer that did the initial repair, they were completely unhelpful, telling me that the repair was a courtesy, because glass isn't covered.Matt Slap honored the Subaru parts warranty, gave me a loaner while the repair was being done (something my Albuquerque dealer won't do), did an alignment for significantly less than my Albuquerque dealer, and they even found me a coupon to save a little extra on that alignment!They were so good to me, someone that is away from home, that's not here to buy a car from them, that they'll probably never see again. That says a lot about a business...going the extra mile for a one-off customer. I wish they were local to me...if they were I would never set foot back at that New Mexico dealership!

As always it was a great experience. I ordered a new vehicle & was kept up to date. The process of finishing up the buying & paperwork was easy. Everyone I work with was great. I even got some add-ons that I wanted from parts with no real issues. Everyone new what they were doing & did it very well. I felt like my business mattered. Like I mattered! Thats hard to find these days.I will always come back here. I even come back for the service. Prices are fair & the techs do quality work. I dont live close to the dealer so I go out of my way to come here because of the overall quality of this dealership. I bought an outback some years ago from this location..it was a new 2012 so yea it was a while back. Nothing in the trade in or purchase stood out, which one would expect. After all the Subaru is a well made feature rich automobile with much assembly done in the USA. Well today I stopped by Matt Slap to pick up a part for my 2018 Crosstrek that I had bought last fall in Indiana. The friendly parts folks took my order over the phone last week, and the part arrived sooner than expected. Corey was quite helpful when was in this morning...including trying to identify additional accessories for my car. Corey was exceptionally patient with me. Thanks Again. Collin on the sales floor was equally patient going over what options were available or in my case unavailable you see I have and love my standard transmission and even with a newer vehicle can t really get any real tech refresh that is worth the cost so you see Wesley out at Castle Subaru really did pick the best car for me. If I do find some a Subaru that can replace the one I have now I will be see Collin you should too!Regards,Rusty

I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Matt Slapp Subaru that deeply affected both me and my son, who struggles with low self-esteem. During our visit, an employee named Chris displayed a complete lack of professionalism and respect. Not only did Chris make a rude comment, but it also had a significant impact on my son's confidence. As a parent, it's disheartening to see my child's self-esteem further diminished by such behavior. Businesses should prioritize creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all customers. I plan on reaching out to the management to express my disappointment and highlight the negative impact this incident had on my son. It is my hope that they take immediate action to address this issue and prevent it from happening to others. Every customer, regardless of their personal struggles, deserves to be treated with kindness and respect."
