I love the service good and friendly people. Had some issues with some things on my truck and they took the time to listen and come up with a solution to fix my problems. They took the time to get the color I wanted for my truck I m a very happy costume!!! I love them and thank you so much!! Y all are amazing people!!

The Newark store did a great job. I went to a few body shops first and wasn't given positive news. Either they wouldn't do the work (one told me to trade in the car) or gave me a very high quote. With Maaco the service staff were friendly and helpful. A technician came out to look over our car and went over the process. The work was completed a day early and looks great. In addition the cost was a fraction of other stores.

They did an amazing job painting the bumper and fixing the body work on my 350z. Although they did accidentally get some overspray behind the bashbar, they happily took it back in and fixed the issue free of charge! Definitely the best painting place I ve been to as far as price and service goes. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs small bodywork or paint doneServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Shannon and Heather were great!! At 1st I had an appt. at the Aston location. When I got there early for my appt. They told me that they don't paint trucks.They told me to go to Maple Shade NJ location. I chose to go to Newark, DE. Shannon was very pleasant to work with from beginning to the end. Heather informed me that my truck was done. I could not believe it was the same truck!!! They and their staff did a fantastic Job!! Highly Recommend AAA+++Service: Painting

Maaco did a awesome job on the body work and painting on my Nissan Frontier! The paint matches perfect!! Very friendly and knowledgeable young lady that waited on me reassured me it would come out great and it did. I will go back again if needed, Recommend this Maaco business Highly. Thank YouJoe

Huge Bait and Switch. Very shady business practices and people running the location. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! Too much to write here but the short version; a "certified" estimator looked at my vehicle and proceeded with an estimate. I accepted and left a CC deposit. The next day I got a call that they can not find the parts. This struck me very odd and a quick Google search found several available parts. I was then told if I buy the parts they'll take that off the estimate, so I did. Find a way to drop the vehicle there. A week goes by and I hear nothing. I call them and they say the estimate was wrong. After further investigation they changed the estimate. It increased from $850 to $5900! This is not acceptable so I find a way to go to pick up my vehicle. The manager said my "certified" estimator was in training and "we all make mistakes." They had left the door ajar and killed the battery entirely. There also was grease on the seat. And it's too late to return my parts they told me to buy! All in all, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

This could ve easily been a 5-star review. Great customer service and communication, and the actual repair to rear quarter panel was pretty well done. However, there was a thin layer of paint/overspray on all of my windows, which very likely means it s all over the car, and I had to scrape each of my windows. I would think they d have the means to cover a vehicle entirely. They also removed the factory door guard, which is understandable because of the repair, but they removed it in a way that it couldn t be put back on. Rather than replace it, they just pulled the other one off too. So there are 2 on one side, and none on the other. They re $100 a set. I just feel like there were things outside of the actual repair job itself that could have been easily avoided.

We dropped our car off on a Monday. Nine days later (as promised) we picked it up. We got a full paint job, original color. There were a few scratches and minor dents that were excellently repaired before painting. The new paint looks extremely good. We are completely satisfied, so far. A BIG thanks to Cheryl, Maaco's estimator and contact person. When we dropped our car off we spoke to the young lady name Cheryl. She was extremely nice. She took her time and explained everything to us. The painting process and pricing options. Her conversations helped us decide on Maaco. We are satisfied with the paint job. Photos of our 2006 Pontiac Solstice are included. A happy customer.

I want to start off with a PRO, unfortunately the only positive out of this was the manner in which I was spoken to. The two women upfront were polite and professional. They were ready to fix any trouble that was brought up, but at the end of the day that's the job.CON: Maaco called me to tell me my car is ready, and gave it to me with errors not once but TWICE.I originally brought my car into Maaco (brand new 2023) for a car accident (the only one the car has ever been in). I chose Maaco because they were the shop who said they'd take it in earlier than any other place-- perfect, so I'd get my car back sooner. They called me on Friday to tell me my car is ready-- I went to pick it up on Saturday. I start driving away, and the car is over heating. The mechanic DID NOT (1) put coolant in the car (2) the car was not cleaned out (3) the car had over paint on the wheel well. I turned around immediately and they quickly fixed these issues- calling me on the following Monday. So Monday I COME BACK, I drive all the way home (30 mins) and my car still isn't warm. My heat was set to 83, and like I said my car is brand new- I'd never had a single issue. My car takes about 8 minutes to heat up so I thought this was really strange. I left Maaco at 248pm, and I left the car running until 4pm-- still never got warm. I called them back, DROPPED THE CAR BACK OFF. The very next day, Tuesday, they called me to tell me the car is ready.After having to get someone to drive me here THREE times, my car is finally correct and coming home fully intact.Maaco blamed it on their "new mechanic" but the reality of it is Maaco called me to tell me it was ready. Maaco decided the car was done. The mechanic messed up by not putting coolant in it (I MEAN COME ON!), then by not ensuring the heat was working ???. At the end of the day, I could NEVER RECOMMEND this place & I won't be returning with ANY vehicle. The hassle, stress, and unprofessionalism was overwhelmly cumbersome. Yes, everything was corrected; but it should've been checked before notifying the customer. Although Maaco did "just want to get [my] car back as soon as possible" the lack of triple checking made an unfortunate situation worse.

Overall I believe the service was bad.1. They quoted 10 business days for completion. I called on the 7th day for an update at that time they couldn't tell me if the job would be completed on time.2. I heard nothing after the 10 business day. I contacted them again on the 11th day, the receptionist told me they had no idea when the job would be completed.3. They contacted me on the 15th day told me the job was done but they wouldn't stay open after 5pm for me to pick it up after work.4. When I picked it up on the 16th day they were unable to print a receipt. I told them I needed a receipt and had to plead with them to email it to me. A receipt for $3500 worth of work is a reasonable expectation on my part.5. After only 16 months the rust chip repairs they made to the hood had begun the deteoriate. I would've expected it to hold longer than that.6. I believe the overall workmanship on the rust repair was poor and as well the painting and clear coating poor.$3500 for repairs and the cost of a rental car because of the delayed completion didn't make this worth it at all. I don't recommend this place.

I just had my car painted by Ryan at Maaco in Newark. I had a chance to meet him, he did a phenomenal on my little beater car made it look brand new again. I was so surprised at the attention to detail and quality I've already sent two of my friends. I don't know how many painters work there but if you want exceptional work ask for Ryan.

I found the staff to be friendly, courteous, efficient, and very knowledgeable. They answered all of my questions, both on the phone and in person and provided an estimate for needed repairs in a timely manner. TheThe initial estimate was the final cost of the repairs. The repair work was completed in a timely manner, and at my convenience. The work was done in an expert manner and the final product metall my expectations. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone needing auto repairs.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I recently purchased a 1984 Hurst Olds Cutlass that was in dire need of bodywork and fresh paint. Most body shops turned me away because they didn t want to take on such a project. Luckily these guys stepped up to the plate.I had them replace the door hinge pins to fix the sagging doors, weld in a new striker plate, removed old rusted T-Top parts, weld in a new T-Top header, repair rust spots around the rear quarters and smooth out numerous imperfections all over the body and they even shaved the ugly antenna hole and hood molding to give it a custom look. Kudos to Mike the body guy for all his hard work.There were some new staff members this time around. The general manager (Nancy) really worked on my behalf to get all the work done and stay within my budget. Also, Chris went out of his way to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the results. All of the staff there were friendly and easy to communicate with.This is my second time using Maaco. Both times I have had an extremely positive experience. I definitely recommend this Maaco to others.

My daughter has had the most unprofessional experience dealing with the Maaco located in Newark Delaware 729 Dawson Drive, Newark Delaware store #10904. After having her car for 6 weeks to fix a bumper and was quoted 3 different prices. Today she was told by rep name Shannon that if she doesn t want to pay we will just locked her car in and keep it here, instead of offering sympathy and trying to come to a better understanding. And to top of all off, she hung the phone up on her and refused to answer when my daughter called back not to mention she refused to provide the name of the owner who she asked us to speak with. I ve used Maaco before in NY and never would I think I could have such a horrible experience in Delaware of all places. Truly a very unsettling experience and absolutely the worst customer service experience in my daughters young 23 years on this earth. I hope the owner will be a better representative of her store, and provide clarity. Again a muffler repair took from 4/4/23 to 5/23 to get completed. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER at 729 Dawson Drive, Newark Delaware. Very disappointed dad on behalf of his daughter. I brought 4 brand new tires from a Maaco about 2 months ago and had a very different experience.

10/6/23 While traveling in DE, my right rear window refused to close. Being mobility restricted & rainy weather anticipated later, I stopped @ shop and receptionist came out & attempted to pull same up.At first it wouldn t budge. She then suggested I turn the car on & use the RR window up button which I did @ the window fully closed!!!Further, no $ charge!!!

I chose Maaco body shop to repair the damage from someone hitting my car. I had a Maaco worked before & the work done was great. Unfortunately the insurance company refused to fix the car. That's why I only give four stars. The customer service was very helpful.

Took a little time to get my mirror replaced, but I stopped by one morning to follow up and I was asked, do you want us to do it now? So that was a pleasant surprise! I was told that staffing is sometimes an issue.

Please, please, please think twice before bringing your car to the Maaco on Dawson Drive in Newark Delaware. I had taken my elderly mother s car there to be painted. When I got the car home after being painted, I noted that the fog light on the drivers side was pushed into the bumper. The light had not been that way and it had just been inspected prior to going to Maaco. I asked Maaco to repair the light since it was damaged under their care and they refused to repair it after a deep discussion with their team as well as a manager who by the way hung up on me after refusing to take care of the issue. Our family has also had other issues with this Maaco on Dawson Drive ie: painting the muffler, the rims on the tires, and not doing the best of work. I would definitely shop around with other auto body shops before taking your car there. You ll be doing yourself a big favor.Response to Maaco,I was not yelling but unfortunately had to raise my voice to be heard after you refused to except responsibility for the damage done to my mother's car while in your care. I m sure there was not 24/7 video surveillance on the car while it spent the week at Maaco. When I asked to see the video surveillance of the car why was I denied? As far as the low blow about us not having the money to fix the broken fog light, REALLY? This just continues to show the unprofessionalism of the business. Maybe corporate classes in customer service, honesty and responsibility would benefit.Service: Painting

Ill update this once I get a good picture of my car but I wanted to go ahead and post my 5/5 review of the Newark location. First, the ladies who work the front desk here are amazing. I think I talked to Shannon the most and she was wonderful to work with. Everyone at the front desk is great, they truly have great customer service. The color I wanted for my car was NOT easy to replicate, (glitter neon pink) and it took a while to find the right match (I'm picky), but these ladies were just incredible. Also the painter (I think his name is Ryan?), is bada$$. Seriously. I was probably the most difficult customer to work with due to my lack of paint knowledge but this guy knocked it out of the PARK. He is the definition of going "above and beyond", as is everyone here that I got to meet during my car work. Thank you again to everyone at MAACO! -The Barbie Bling pink girl :)Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Highly impressed with the paint job and refinishing of the hood of my car as well as all 4 doors. The price was reasonable considering with all the labor involved. Jerry and Everett were quite friendly, nice and very accommodating and kept me informed on the progress. Also a big thank you to Everett in taking me to and from work while my car was being serviced. He was very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with him.. I truly recommend this business to everyone reading this review!

I own a used car lot and have been taking all of my cars here for a few months now. I have tried tested 7 other body shops in the area and these guys are by far the best. Super friendly staff and really good service. They have the quickest turn around time and every job comes out beautiful. I need my cars looking perfect so I can sell them and these are the guys I like to rely on for that. Have taken everything from totaled vehicles, fender benders, and vehicles in need of detailing to them and they ve completed every job exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this shop.

Never used Maaco in the past mostly due to negative things I ve heard/read. I decided to give them a try, since I didn t want to spend a lot of money and wanted a quick turn around. Although i had reservations, I can honestly say the quality far exceeded my expectations. The quality of the paint work and very minimal overspray proved to me that much care and pride went into the job. I will definitely use them again and recommend to others that want a quality job at an affordable price.Service: Painting

The initial encounter was pleasant and the people are very nice. I was promised my vehicle at a earlier date and it was pushed back two times due to difficulties which were not communicated properly. The paint job looks very good even though I m still waiting for my emblems and far surpasses the last management. If this shop gets their communication to the customer on par with the way they paint it will be 5 stars all day.
