My main work van was leaking fluid and a friend highly recommended Matt at Mr Auto. I brought it down and he did an extensive diagnostic with a write up and 7 pictures showing me exactly what was wrong. He put this level of effort in despite knowing that it would be a warranty job that he would not end up doing. I would recommend anyone to them.

Beware of the owner or this shop. He thinks the merge lane from pleasant Valley has to yield to him coming out of the shop. Yesterday, he pulled out in front of me and stopped dead in the road and refused to move. When I went around him to avoid him, he followed me home and refused to leave unless I admitted he was right and I was wrong. I just spoke with an officer from Delaware State Police. He said he obviously doesn't know the laws of the road and he was in the wrong for pulling out in front of me and for following me home. He told me to save the videos and to write a review on his business about how this guy is.There is a yield but it is to road traffic NOT your parking lot and that was a state trooper that said the same thing. You were in the wrong for barreling out of your parking lot AND for following me home. A report was filed and they're aware of your misguided beliefs of roadway rules. I pray you don't do it someone else.

Matt and his staff are wonderful! I've been going to him since he opened. Very honest. Will not steer you wrong!!! Mechanical work, body work, tune ups, general service!!! The only place I will go for my vehicles!!!!

I was gathering estimates for some rust mitigation service on my old Jeep. Met Matt and found him to be extremely helpful, patient and professional. The quote he provided was reasonable. The work he considered doing was of the type that many body shops won't perform without charging an exorbitant amount of money.Great shop.Well run small business.Worth checking out.Service: Body & Trim

Matt was awesome was very honest and very helpful certainly made me feel he could get the job done right and not jerk me for my money. Was able to get my car in and out faster than expected which sealed the deal on having a new returning customer. The young lady behind the desk was super sweet informed me of the process and kept me updated. I have been going to M. R. Automotive for years and give it my highest recommendation. To be honest, I do a lot of my own automotive repair work because I am particular about quality. When I have to go to a pro, I look for technical skill and diagnostic acumen. I am hard to impress, and Matt is the best I have known.I met Matt shortly after he opened. He quickly diagnosed a very subtle and intermittant problem on our Subaru that the Subaru dealer had failed to diagnose after being given multiple opportunities.He does great work at a fair price. Where most techs will simply go through replacing components until the problem goes away, Matt actually diagnoses the problem and addresses it directly and economically.He's the only mechanic I refer friends to.Services: Body & Trim, Engine repair

Nearly a year ago, I gave them a five star review because I went with my family to pick up their car one day. I had a bunch of questions about my own car. They took the time to answer them and my family was always very happy with there work. From time to time, Google Maps will ask me to review businesses and answer questions about products and services that they offer. When M.R. came up one day, I dropped five stars because I thought "What the Heck, I trust my Uncle so Five Stars." I didn't have the time to write a more extensive review and I haven't really thought much about it since.I haven't yet had my own car worked on but I plan to. I asked them about working on my own car a couple weeks ago once more and again, they patiently answered all my questions. I hope to have it worked on soon.I don't know why it says four stars now, probably just a glitch, which I changed. I even discussed that I gave them five stars with one of their employees just a few weeks ago.Service: Body & Trim

I have been going to MR Automotive for several years now and they have always taken care of me and my vehicles in a courteous and professional manner. Matt has always been open and honest about what was needed and I have never experienced anything contrary. I trust my vehicles to Matt and have referred friends to him as well. This is a great place owned by a great guy.

Visited first time on July 10th, 2019 to remove vibration at certain speeds and during braking on our 2008 Toyota Corolla. (Both items that were not done right by Price Toyota even after 2nd request). Matt made our car a pleasure to drive again! Personal one on one talk with Matt during pickup was a bonus and I recommend Matt to do that at least with new customers. I realized that Stacey at the front desk had relied the message promptly and my problem was taken care of. The tires needed balancing I'm glad that MR Automotive chose to resurface the front rotors instead of replacement to get rid of the vibration. Thank you.

The front end of our Expedition was repaired last year and fit and finish was superb. Currently, they are nearing additional body repairs and interior work as well. Stopped by today and the body work looked great! I have sent other customers to have their vehicles repaired with the same satisfaction. We were lucky enough to find M.R. Automotive right after they opened (we broke down right up the street) and have taken all of our cars/trucks there ever since. He also worked on my motorcycle after it was dropped. The body work was professionally and beautifully done. He is honest, professional, courteous and his work is competively priced. Our friends and family use him now too. Great shop, great owner!

GARBAGE, WORST SERVICE EVER!! Brought my 2004 matrix in for a fix. I told him (the owner) I was new in the area and really needed help. After belittling me for 5 minutes he decided to actually give me a quote ($3000 vs $1500 elsewhere). He told me my car was not really nice enough for his name to go on it. Then half way through the quoting process he decided he didn't want to work on it and kicked me out of the store. AWFUL BUSINESS, DO NOT GO TO THIS GUY!!!

Had a starter put in with this establishment in Spring 2017. Needed another starter put in the same vehicle in Fall 2018. Needless to say, I have to shell out another $500 for the replacement for the same problem, less than two years later.
