I use to take my vehicles here all the time until they moved across the street and have a new guy running it. I took my vehicle here because it was leaking transmission fluid. He said we won't work on it because I need to degrease the engine for them to find the problem. I told him okay I will clean it up for them. He said no it needs a professional to do the job or we won't touch it. I decided to take it to someone else. Wrench time across the street in albe drive found the issue no problem with out me evening cleaning it. I highly recommend them and they do it a quarter of the cost that they charge. A lot friendlier and will not up charge you on things you don't need. Very honest. They worked on two out of three of my vehicles so far and I couldn't be happier. Dont let the reviews fool you. Jamie's auto repair use to be great. Not anymore.

Jamie repaired my car and my son's car, quality service, great prices and fast work. I had another mechanic for many years but they went out of business. It's hard to find a place where you can trust their service and feel comfortable that they are not going to rob you blind...Jamie's is awesome!

Danny and everyone there are always helpful whenever I need to take my vehicle in, whether it be routine maintenance, or something bigger. They do great, quick work, they don't charge you an arm and a leg like a dealership would for the same type of work, and explain any issues they find and give you their honest suggestions and opinions. I work for a nearby business that has a lot of vehicles in our fleet, and Jamie's has done work on several of them as well. Have always been very happy with their work.

Absolutely fantastic people to work with. I've been there numerous times and have been treated with respect. Danny is the greatest I cannot say enough about him.Brian is awesome. They all really know their stuff. I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a decent honest mechanic. You guys are truly the BEST!!!

Needed basically a new engine in my husband's '07 Honda Ridgeline. We use Jamie for our work trucks, and I know my boss wouldn't use him if he wasn't the best in the business. Our truck is basically brand new. Jamie kept in touch with us throughout the process and we couldn't be happier with the service and workmanship. Thank you for getting Chris' baby back on the road and better than ever!

Jamie's Auto never ceases to amaze me. By far my favorite shop in DE. I make sure to take my car to the Newark location whenever I need anything done. Fast, affordable, and extremely friendly. Took my car here when in a bind a few months ago and now last week. Jamie just lays it to you straight and doesn't try to upsell you. Fixes the issue as fast as possible for a more than fair price. Def a huge recommend to anyone needing car repair.

Jamie's Auto Repair in Newark, Delaware has the BEST quality, price & customer service. I had several other repair quotes all of which were overpriced and recommended unneeded maintenance services. Thanks to Jamie's Auto Repair my vehicle that I bought brand new over 12 years ago has never felt or sounded better. I would strongly recommend Jamie's Auto Repair over any other mechanic.

Came in with a ton of issues and worries. I left the car with them for a few hours and when I came back, it turns out the problems were easily fixed and they didn't want to charge me.I have never experienced such an honest auto shop business and absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Very good mechanics and trustworthy. They fix the problem you have with your car talk to you about the issues give you Solutions and options before they do the work and try to save you money at the same time. I called with an issue with my brakes on my car. It was a very important that I got my car fixed that day because it was the only car my family had. I needed brakes and rotors all the way around With a complete tune-up and an oil change. So they said bring it in at noon on a Friday and they had it ready by closing time at 5 pm . I recommended them to my whole family. Its really tough to find a good trust worthy mechanic that actually cares for his customers and will immediately inform you of any unseen issues that may arise with suggestions and solutions.

I had these guys work on my 1999 Jeep Wrangler. I had quite the laundry list of things I needed done.Exhaust Manifold, Muffler, Serpentine belt, left tie rod, rear brakes, gas tank skid plate and I think there was a couple other things as well. Dropped it off on a Wednesday and picked up on Friday.Excellent Customer Service.

They are very fast with cars, very real with you about any car work that needs to be done to cars. I learned about Jamie's from my parents because they took there cars there before they moved to North Carolina. They treat you like family!

December 2016: I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 pickup that was running on 7 of 8 cylinders. I had changed plugs and coils, with no improvement. I assumed it needed expensive, major engine work. I brought it to Jamie's, and within 24 hours, they had discovered a collapsed lifter, and they replaced it, got the truck running well, and it cost just $278, including the original $79 evaluation fee. They pointed to sludge as the culprit, and explained how I can take steps to resolve the sludge issue. Unlike many other shops, they didn't try to exaggerate or fabricate problems in order to make more money. They did just what needed to be done at a reasonable price. I would recommend them highly.
