I have a 2004 Infiniti M45 whose name is King Cobra . It started as a tune-up and ended with me shoving every hop-up I could find or make for this thing into it. From top end work, had my Canadian friends build my some insane coil packs, resealed the upper engine, new injectors, high flow fuel pump, stage colder NGK Double Platinum plugs and matching O2s with dumps at the cats, coolant bypasses, to dual exhaust with high flow headers and 2.5 SS piping. I put 2 shift kits into the 04 Jatco 5-Speed and used an 03 ECU to tune the computer to match the mechanical builds. Spaced the throttle body, built a custom intake, right down to splitting and smoothing the air box and as always, the K&N air filter. We got it to find timing with the 04 ECU, but Infiniti s stock mapping and my mod list were conflicting with certain things. Most notably when driving in manual, the downshifting and off-line pull was sluggish or jarring. Thanks to Hok and his team at J-Tune they were able to make this beast come alive and run smooth but also insane. It s a luxury stock car. They helped me achieve my dream of having the ultimate sleeper. Thanks again for your patience and knowledge in making this old dog learn some new tricks!!! I Love making these new Porsches, Infinitis and Dodges work for their money now!! They re screaming RPMs and turbos to keep up and this monster V8 isn t even breaking a sweat. Well done everyone!

J-Tune is a fantastic mechanic and automotive technician shop. Hok helped me from start to finish and took detailed notes about what was going on with my vehicle. The mechanics were friendly and professional. I bought my car there because the engine wouldn't turn over. I left with a full understanding of what was going on with my car and what was done to fix it. It turned out to be a blown fuel line and they were able to get it back to me within 24 hours. I appreciate the urgency and professionalism shown by Hok and his team. I hope to return again soon!

Had the chance of doing business directly with Hok, he absolutely saved the day! I came in with needing one of my rear suspension assemblies indexed, as well as getting the car an alignment.I came in with specific diagrams and specifications, and him and his team did a great job doing the work (very quickly as well!). I was informed during the process of how the service was going, any hiccups, and could see the care and passion of their team.If you are looking for a serious shop that takes great care of their customers and has an attention to detail, you've found the right place!

Took my Model 3 to have springs installed. Alittle pricey compared to previous spring installs on other vehicles Ive had, but this car IS different, and price still seems reasonable compared to online quotes ive seen for others Teslas. BEST tuner in town! They handle all imports, even have a Subie dude on staff. Love this shop, could not recommend this place more.They've got an awd dyno and recently got a full bay alignment machine.Custom fabrication also done in house for all kinds of custom parts. They'll work with your budget and let you know if something can wait.Trust and dedication go a long way in the mechanics field and I trust this company.Recently had control arms done - they replaced all bolts that had rust on them, whether they needed it or not, and sprayed protectant on the components.

I had done some previous work to my 350z that caused it to not run right. But thankfully to the crew at J-Tune Performance they got her running right in the matter of 2 days. Thank you, I will be returning soon.

I brought my little CRX in for both regular maintenance and a few repairs we had on my bucket list. We opened a can of worms this round - as one does with 30 year old sporty toys. The passion this team has for performance, professionalism, and the joy of driving really shines through in the way they handle every customer and every car that comes into their shop. I had this to say after taking the CRX out for a real drive..."Guys, wow she's doing great! Excellent tuning by Hok. He has great passion and attention to detail. He is truly capable of perfectly tuning a vehicle and keeping it driveable.He wouldn't sell me anything I didn't need and was very detail oriented when tuning my car. He let me know expectations before tuning and limitations of my setup if I wanted to push the bar further. He truly cares for his customers and is an artist of his craft.

There s nothing bad I can say about J-Tune. They treat you like family. Are always in constant contact with you when it comes to keeping you up to date with your vehicle. I highly recommend them if you need work done on your car.

Awesome shop, hok is a great tuner and has a long good track record with Nissans and infinities. I've always had them Steer me in the right direction even if that means less profit for them they always seem to want what's best for my vehicle and myself.

J-tune is where its at! Professional, knowledgeable, one of the top shops around. They know their stuff and it shows in the work they do. My car has never felt better to drive after some upgrades and i will be back! They give honest advice and customer service is great. They use top brand parts and fluids for your service needs so if you need some work done or its time for a regular service go see the pros at J-tune, they don't disappoint, my car is like new again!

I had my 2012 370Z tuned on Uprev at J-Tune. Hok is the tuner there and he did an excellent job with my car. I am very happy with the way it feels after the tune. He is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and I appreciated the way he took his time with my car. He was willing to take the extra time to ensure the tune was perfect before turning the car back over to me. He also allowed me to give some input on how aggressive we went with the tune (on top of listing all of the available maps and having me pick 5). There are also some pretty sweet builds in their shop which were great to look at and some of the other employees there took the time to walk me through and tell me some info on each build. Really great experience and would highly recommend to anyone close to the area. Thank you Hok!Service: Auto engine tuning

Great customer service from the owner and his team. They did quality work and kept me updated as expected. Only downside was it took a little longer than expected to get my car back. But after waiting I was happy with the finished product. Would recommend to anyone looking for car tuning or upgrades!!

Brought my 03 350z in for service the staff was polite and very professional. The price was reasonable for the amount of work performed on my Z. Wait area was very clean and staff wiped everything down to Covid-19 standards. Amazing staff and great ownership! They care about good quality maintenance services and were able to work me in their schedule when my car wasn't running right. They go above and beyond! Not only did they repair my car quickly, but they educated me on good car care as well. Many shops don't do that. This place is a gem, and I can't say enough great things about JTune Performance!

I appreciate Ed for his hard work, honesty, and great customer service. Took my 2016 Honda Civic to J tune Performance for a D2 Coilovers installation as well as a K&N CAI installation. It took sometime while I waited inside their shop but ED was very thorough with his job and explained everything to me after completing the installation. Went back a week later for any adjustments that needed to be done and was not charged at all. Thank you for your work J Tune Performance; especially ED!

I've come in here a few times and every time has been a pleasant experience. The people here are great and very down to earth while still being professional. They do great and honest work and are very knowledgeable. This shop is run by people who love cars for people who love cars and it shows. Warning - (warning) owner does not stand behind his work. I called and talked with the owner Hok to asked if he had the ability to tune out 02 sensors for passing emissions. He assured me he could perform this service and cost would be 750.00. I made appointment with Hok dropped off my vehicle no paperwork was filled out or provided. I received a call that evening that my radiator blew up on the Dyno, and needed a replacement additional cost of over 800.00. First off this is not what I agreed to only to tune out o2s. I said to fix it being my Armada was now undriveable and stuck in their shop . They said would be done following day, finally at closing they called me back that it was finished. Hok checked me out strangely asking me what octane fuel was in my tank. I drove approximately 5 miles had sudden loss of power, smoke from exhaust and dead truck on side of the road. I had Armada immediately towed back to them with many unanswered phone calls and leaving messages. The owner finally called late the following day saying I would need a engine replacement. I was shocked and told him I would see him the next day when they open in person. He said I should be upset with what happened. Two days later they emailed me that out of good will andadditional cost of 2,300.00 plus any undetermined amount for what ever else they decided. Basically a blank check once they started the work. I pleaded for Hok to rethink his position to fix my perfectly running Armada before he got his hands on it. He refused and after many attempts spanning of 2 weeks, I had my Nissan Armada towed from his business. This is my daily driver and work vehicle to carry supplies etc for work. I will be seeing Hok again this time in court. Run from this business don't be taken advantage of and chance losing your vehicle with a blown engine. I usually don t write bad reviews but after getting my bumper back in bad shape I am fed up with the two shops I will write about.I brought my 300zx to get a total refresh with upgrades. I came to J tunes with pure heart and intentions. Things were promised and everything was good in the beginning. Things started to go wrong when It was brought to my attention that my lower rad support was broken. I said do we fix this now...I was told no. Any body can weld it after the build is complete. All my money started to become allocated towards the motor build. I bought parts and things started rolling. First quarter of the build the main tech working on the build quit. I was promised not to be worried and the car will be finished. Not the case!Outside of parts being on back order...the car sat for six months straight and motor on the engine stand. Nothing was installed or even thought of. Finally a contractor was going to install the motor BUT SAYS NO WE CANT PUT THE MOTOR IN UNTIL THE RAD SUPPORT IS FIXED. I had to scramble to find the part with no help from the owner. I spent countless money locating the part, shipping, towing the car to a body guy and etc. i was recommended AUTO BODY SERVICES. In the midst of the car going to the body guy they never put the needed part in the car when being towed. That left the owner needing to take the BRAND NEW BUMPERS to the shop. The Bumpers were not suppose to go to the body shop with out my consent.Once the car returned to J tunes the car sat in the shop for another 3 months with another 350z in my place. I got the run around on why the 350z hasn t progressed. I finally removed the car from the shop. I was a good customer and paid my remaining balance. I go to get my bumpers from the auto body shop and the rear bumper was cracked. More money, gas, and repairs PLUS TIME needed to be wasted because of the poor judgement of J tunes owner. I have wasted a whole 9 months, wasted plenty of money, and over spent on this build because of the poor communication and handling of my build.My recommendation is go directly to the employees because they aren t to blame. The mechanics are great people. I wouldn t build a car at J tunes because they hoard all the customers and can t deliver ! They are severely under staffed ! J tunes will run with your deposit and never say sorry or thank you. I ve received little to nothing from the owner. I walk in and it s like I m bothering him. I don t get acknowledgment. I always have to speak first like he is paying me for a service. Heard about J Tune through a few of the online forums and decided to check them out. Recently had them install an Ark Grip exhaust on my 2010 genesis coupe and couldn't be happier. J Tune was in constant communication throughout the weeks leading up to installation answering all my questions and helping pick the best setup for my car. Installation was quick and exactly what had been invoiced. Because of how low the exhaust naturally hung, J-tune created an extra support to help raise and secure the exhaust better. All their work was double checked and they allowed me back to see what they had done before lowering the car. Their staff was very knowledgeable and gave great advice for moving forward.

Hands down best experience. I went in to get a tune for the first time. The staff were very professional and were willing to answer all of my questions and concerns. Hok really took care of my car as if it was his own. He went over the car to make sure it was sound before it went on the dyno for a tune. I'm very pleased with my experience and the team at J-Tune. Any one looking to get a tune I would highly recommend this place.

One of the best if not the best! What sets J-Tune apart from other places is how far they will go in great details to explain a situation when handling your car. I own a 2005 350Z and each time I go for service, whether it's for a minor or major issue, they not only diagnose but they'll also allow me to enter their work area and show me the problem area of my car.This review is not a review or recommendation. J-Tune performance is the ultimate performance shop for your car. Hok is a superb and extremely knowledgeable mechanic and tuner who truly deserves his outstanding reputation. After numerous disappointments with other tuners, I consider myself very fortunate to have made this trusting connection with the J-Tune family. Not only does J-Tune provide excellent tuning and service, but they provide a level of attention to detail and exacting standards that have optimized my vehicles performance and longevity. Hok has completed a number of complex projects for me, and I am really happy with his work. To top it off, the folks at J-Tune are genuinely kind, enjoyable to work with, and client centered. I rarely take the time to review a business, but I am so pleased with the work they have done that I feel compelled to do so. I will return to J-Tune in the near future!
