I am absolutely blown away by the service I received today at Dred Auto Services. I have had some bad experiences in the past with being taken advantage of by different mechanics and even the dealership and today I 100% received 5 star service. I called to see when the soonest appointment was and the owner told me he could help me right now if I was able to bring my car in. I drove right over, was quoted a very reasonable price and he got started right away. The owner even stayed after closing to finish up my car. Instantly when leaving I noticed an immediate difference in my car meaning the work he did was top notch and the parts came with a lifetime warranty. I would 100% recommend Dred Auto Service for anyone looking for an honest and dependable mechanic! Thank you !

Beyond 5 stars, had a really good experience taking my car to Dred auto services. He kept me inform of everything my car needed. After other mechanics gave me misleading information about what my car actually needed, I m thankful I found this shop.Will definitely be my go to mechanic in the future for any work my car needs. & I made sure my friends and family knew that if they needed anything done to give him a call.

New in the area I had to look for a good mechanic. I searched for one with good reviews and picked Dred Auto Service. I was so impressed with the quality service and affordable price. Dred was able to fix the issue after a mechanic told me the noise was coming from the transmission and I need new car. I m not a mechanic and told him it can t be. I had no issue with the transmission and noise is coming from the front right side. I even pointed out that the noise like the wheel bearing. He denied that and told me that I need a new car and got fee to tell me the wrong thing. A previous mechanic told me the caliber. Dred replaced the wheel bearing and got me back on the road with no issue. It s hard nowadays to find good knowledgeable mechanics. If you need your car to be fixed right without wasting money and time go to Dred Auto Service. I was glad I did and reviews matters. More than 5***** for Dred and I will refer him for anyone needs his car fixed. Thanks a lot for everything Dred.

Made an original review but I don t feel like I used enough words to truly express how good of an experience I ve had with Dred.Absolutely hands down the best experiences I ve had ( especially being a female dealing with car troubles, and my fellow ladies will understand) I was absolutely blown away with how the shop helped, and was so kind to me. Went above and beyond to help me out. 5 stars aren t even enough to rate this shop. 10/10 Have found my go to shop!

Great experience taking 2 Subarus to Dred Auto Service. Eldred is honest, showed us what needed to be repaired, FaceTimed what was being installed, kept what came out (so we could see the damage), and is reasonably priced. Great personality, too!

Eldred and the business Dred Auto Service are top notch! Could not recommend more. Super flexible and the best turn around time I've ever experienced. I had an issue with my window and fuel door. Not only was it fixed within a couple of hours, he even pointed me in the direction of what parts to replace and keep an eye out for to prevent this type of issue in the future since parts are hard to come by (after all it is a 30+ year old car). Everyone was super nice, communicative, and a pleasure to work with! All of my future business will be going to Dred Auto Service without a doubt in my mind.Support your local businesses and give Dred Auto Service a try. I promise you'll get better service and professionalism then any dealer or shop around!

I recently brought my car in for service and not only did Eldred take care of all my concerns, he also recommended a new, brighter set of headlights that have been totally life-changing! Between the peace of mind of knowing that the car has been looked over by a trained eye, plus the new lights, I feel so much safer on the roads now--especially in bad weather. This is my second experience with Dred Auto and I wouldn't go anywhere else--the service is fantastic, the turnaround time is SO fast (same business day both times), the prices are more than fair, and everyone there is a pleasure to work with. If you're looking for a solid mechanic, you're in the right place :)

I have been serviced on several occasions by Dred Auto Service, and no matter whether I m being serviced by the owner himself of one of his employees, the service is amazing! They have extended hours to accommodate my schedule, are upfront about pricing, and go above and beyond to ensure my vehicles are serviced efficiently! Also the waiting area is always clean and smells lovely. I highly recommend this shop!

They are the Chick-fil-A of auto shops. They go above and beyond.I went in to get work done on my brakes and suspension, and he cleared my headlights just because they didn't like that they were foggy.Very reasonably priced. They care so much about doing a good job and that you leave satisfied. I could not recommend them enough. Trust me and just try them. They will become your new auto-shop guaranteed.

My first experience at Dred Auto Service was incredible! We called and were able to have the van towed to him and they fixed it the same day!! And, it was after traditional business hours, he uses manufacture parts, so impressed with the care for the customers needs and vehicle! Based on my experience, I HIGHLY recommend Dred s Auto Service! Thank you again!!

While traveling through Delaware, my alternator started acting up, and I consider myself extremely fortunate to have connected with Eldred. After a brief phone conversation, he promptly made time to inspect my car. Eldred efficiently replaced the alternator, allowing me to resume my journey just a few hours later. His calm and friendly demeanor turned what could have been a scary and frustrating situation (being stranded far from home) into something I didn't need to worry about. I am sincerely grateful for his assistance.

I heard Eldred Brown is the best Subaru mechanic around. I was not disappointed. He is very knowledgeable and stayed late to finish my Subaru. I highly recommend him for any car. I never do reviews but I am happy to do this one.

Nothing but good things to say!! Towed my car there Monday afternoon, diagnosis & fixed by Tuesday night!! The owner even stayed late so I could pick it up! I highly recommend reaching out to them if you need any vehicle repairs!! Thank you for such great service!!

First time using Dred's, as he was referred by a fellow subaru driver. The owner eencouraged me to send pics of the clutches I was considering and gave his recommendations and his reasoning behind them. Dred also showed me some of the issues he found from the previous clutch install, such as it not being fully bolted in (the work was done at the dealership) and explained his concerns. I experienced fantastic customer service and will be using Dredsfor any future work/mods I want done!Service: Transmission

If you are looking for reasonable and quality repairs, don t look for any other garage. Dred s auto got you covered. I went there looking google ratings and found that whatever people said was all correct, he was friendly, got me setup to stop by same day, checked my flashing check engine light as soon as I stopped and identified the issue regarding oil quickly, changed oil and got the CEL light off, and got me moving within 30 mins. I would certainly recommend him and visit him for all future oil changes/repairs.

Eldred is upfront, honest, reliable and extremely professional. He has worked on both my fianc� s truck and my SRT and we cannot say enough about how great the service was both times. Only kept the vehicles for a day and everything was done and surpassed our standards. Extremely reasonable in pricing, prompt with responses and a great guy all around! After snapping a bolt while replacing a thermostat on my Subaru Forester, I ended up with a major issue requiring the timing belt and water pump to be pulled, something I couldn't handle myself. My heart sank knowing that it was no longer a minor repair and I was without a car to get to work.I came across Dred Auto Service through a friend and WOW, he is fantastic. He called me to go over the scope of repairs needed and worked up a quote shortly after and was able to get my car in within a couple days and finished it SAME DAY. What made this even more impressive was I dropped it off after 6pm and started receiving updates, including photos, that evening on the progress. Maybe this kind of service was an exception, but in the few conversations I had with Eldred, I can tell this it wasn't.He checked in once the job was complete to go over the work he performed, what he came across, and extra odds and ends he handled to make sure I was in good shape moving forward. Even when he mentioned that he came across some concerns about previous work on the timing belt and water pump, he did so in a professional manner to avoid throwing another mechanic under the bus.I have always been jealous of others when they talk about how they have a "guy" they always bring their cars to for all their work; now I do. He also gives a little card for your keychain which is a great touch.Anyone that wants dealer quality work without the dealer prices should contact Dred Auto Services.tldr;It was the best experience, from top to bottom, that I have ever received when having work done on my car. I highly recommend Dred Auto Service for the quality of work, value, promptness, and honesty in a industry that often has a bad reputation.

Where do I begin? First, thank you Eldred! I originally took my car to another local shop for some repairs and after looking it over, they told me to scrap the car... they were going to charge me an astronomical amount of money to have the said repairs completed. I took the car to Eldred for a second opinion and he fixed the car completely for less than half of my quote from the other shop! All that, plus he replaced some parts that the other shop never mentioned needed fixing! Eldred will be my go to for any repair needed from this point forward. I highly recommend Dred Auto and thank them for fixing the car while also saving me a ton of money. Thanks again!!

Easily 5 stars. I wish I could give two five star for separate events one for my nephew when he got a bad deal on an vehicle but everything turn out great with patience and some work. However this is my review Eldred help me with my car when another auto place told me I needed an oil pan after taking it there he was honest and showed I just needed an oil change and everything was fine. Great honest work. Thanks Eldred!

Called today about getting my old girl a new starter. First , my service specialist was awesome from the time he answered the phone. He gave me phenomenal pricing and said he could complete the work today. Dropped the car off , got a new starter and he even fixed a busted battery cable for free! I really like the shops atmosphere, very professional and knowledgeable . We sat and talked about our love for Acura and Honda. Dred Auto Service and Repair will be my only auto repair shop for now on. My 2007 Acura TL is backon the road running better than ever.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way my car runs now!!!! It feels like brand new. I m so elated that my sister referred me to Dred Auto Service. Great service! Great hospitality!!!! Great mechanics not looking to get over . Great and reasonable pricing and AWESOME COMMUNICATION, of which you don t find these days with mechanics. Most mechanics try to beat you for mad money and fixed absolutely nothing or your car is worse than when you brought it in NO PROBLEMS whatsoever from Dred Auto Service. MY CAR PURRS AND GLIDES NOW! Brought in my subaru forester here for water pump and timing belt. Usually try not to go to shops but this one I felt comfortable. Eldred was super nice and got my car in and out same day. I have given it a few days to be sure there was no issues and there is nothing. They do solid work for very fair prices. I will most definitely recommend to friends and be a return customer myself.

Stop your search & go see Eldridge!I was referred to Dred Auto and I will forever be a customer from this day forward. I bought a used 2008 Infiniti and brought it into Eldridge to look over for any mechanical issues/needs because well .. I m a woman who doesn t get dirty under a car and needed someone s expertise in hopes to not get a run for my money. Eldridge was 100% honest and transparent on what my car needed and why it needed xyz. I did my best to describe the big body feel of my car that happened to be my shot-out rotors. Eldridge also gave me a solid breakdown of my car from top to bottom in a way I could understand and even presented a solid guess on how my car was previously driven and taken care of.I brought my car back to Dred Auto today for the suggested repairs needed .. At time of pickup Eldridge gave me a breakdown of my cost and with a big smile of appreciation wished me on my way. Lemme tell you something, my car now drives like a million bucks! My drive home felt like I was literally driving a brand new car, not my 08.I literally didn t think I needed brakes, but it was a suggested replacement and I trusted Eldridge s opinion. I finally found a mechanic I can trust! Eldred is very professional and knowledgeable. He's very flexible - my car was able to be diagnosed within days of contacting him. Eldred also gave reasonable price for repairs needed done. Eldred and his team also made me feel welcome. Been going to Dred for years since he started on his garage only mechanic i give my 2005 honda oddysey to i travel all the way from Newark NJ to Delaware for him to fix it. Thank you for always being reliable for me working around my schedule and yours , for always being so professional and taking care of my car for years. If someone ask me if i know a good reliable, professional mechanic i always send them to him.

I received a recommendation to take my car over to Dred's auto, and I'm glad I did. My 2015 Honda Odyssey had a failed alternator and I needed it changed immediately. Dred explained the process thoroughly and didn't deviate from what he said would take place. He gave me a very fair quote, got me in quickly despite having other appointments, and did the work he said he would do. I received updates throughout the day, and he went over and above by cleaning, replacing caps, and checking all other relevant areas without going outside original quote. That's what I consider great customer service. And the new alternator works great. Couldn't be more pleased with the work or the experience, and I definitely will be recommending anyone I know who needs work done to visit Dred's Auto.
