Brought my 2021 RAV4 to Delaware Auto Glass for a windshield replacement. The total cost seemed competitive. I had decided to bring my vehicle here because they seemed professional; however, I was quite disappointed by how they had damaged my side panel when removing the glass (see pictures). I showed the damage to the supervisor and they agreed to order a replacement. I had to drive one hour back to the shop to bring my vehicle. They did install a replacement for my side panel. I will never take my car here again.3/4/24 - Update to reply to business response:The claim that the trim was damaged by another shop is completely false. In fact, I have pictures of the trim prior to leaving the car at your shop. In fact I have not had to replace my windshield before. The fact that you replied in such way shows lack of professionalism and business oriented approach. A simple response like this would have sufficed: We are sorry you were not satisfied 100%. Please note we responded immediately to get this rectified. It is not about the money. In the end, I would rather pay more and know I am getting a better service all around.

Duane set my windshield up nice, went the extra mile and popped my cowling off so I could paint it in the parking lot real quick. I don't know how he was able to take all my trim off without breaking any of the clips, I am a mechanic myself and I break them every time I go near them. This shop and their techs are great. My second time using them on my personal vehicle, and I will be back!

Had a really bad time here. Googled window repair when I had a window break from a wind storm recently and found them as a local shop. Love to support local over a national thing so I got a quote online and entered what I needed. Then promptly got a call from a tech about my quote and if I would like to schedule an appointment after we talked about needing the back glass replacement like I stated in the online quote and set me up with a appointment the next day. Great! Then I get there at 10am the next day I go in for my apt and they scope things out.. and ttech comes in seconds later and asked you need the back glass replaced right?! I said yeah that s what me and Eric (the tech) talked about. The front desk girl and the tech on hand argued in the shop and then came back in.She then asked me to come back at 3pm (my apt was at 10 am) because of a mix up ok still chillSo I come back in at 3.. they get it done in under an hour but the tech comes out and says he cannot reinstall my rear wiper and gives it to me in my back seat they then ring me out for a full charge leaving me to install the wiper motor and figure myself.. taking my whole work day to half fix my window..but reluctantly still paying fullI protested to which the rotund woman by the name I can only assume as Emily claimed I was a drug addicted and was brandishing a bat with the script Emily s stick which makes me think that this con has gone on a bit.I got the wiper and motor on with no problem after removing the wiper with the proper pullers. This shop really is the worst and I will not expect this shop will ever do honest work

Price was less expensive than others but instead of installing new rubber trim around the windshield they pieced together the old rubber with made it look bad. I didn t notice with the orange tape they put around the window until I removed it. Terrible job Cheaper ain t always better..

They put my glass in any old way . They Chipped my roof top off a lil . I have a Sensor windshield I guess they didn t connect it Properly so my check engine light was on after they got done . I know it s not connected because when it rains my Windshield wipers don t come on automatically anymore.

Nice people ,hard workers. But my job was very rushed on a Semi Truck.,which I understand. But in not taking their time my air filter housing was cracked from one of the workers kneeling on it with weight, both knees. It says right on it do not step. It s only plastic and could be 2,000.00 to replace now with parts and labor. You can t sit and stand on the motor and parts on it. Especially if it says do not step here. Now I have a bigger problem than broken glass The air filter housing was not broken before the glass job and now it is after the glass job. Take your time guys and come up with a set up to not stand on 100,000.00. Dollar motors.

Not exactly sure where to begin. I have almost no good things to say about this place. The person at the counter was not very friendly on the phone nor in person. I had a windshield replaced by them in the morning before work. The job was done very fast which was impressive. So I pay and leave and driving home I hear a wind noise. I thought maybe it was just me so on my way to work I listened closer and sure enough it was a wind noise and I could feel cold air coming through the dash where it meets the windshield. So I call them back and schedule an appointment to get it looked at. This was on a Thursday and scheduled for Monday. I dropped the car off and the tech brings me back (very nice guy btw) shows me they see the issue but will have to order a windshield so I have to come back again the following day. The next day I go back and they redo the windshield. I m driving home and the identical wind noise is present. I m thinking it s impossible. So I get home and take apart the cowl and after hours of searching around for an issue I find a puncture in the cowl area that must have been done when they cut out the original windshield. You can imagine my frustration. I cannot put into words that I can type here how I feel about this situation. Please avoid this place at all costs!!! The hack job that was done to my car is just awful. Just very sloppy work. Silicone was on my headliner which doesn t come out also to top it off. I hope this helps someone. Thanks for reading!

Had a monkey ball smash the windshield in my daily driver. Delaware Auto Glass gave me the most reasonable quote out of all the auto glass companies that I called. I knew that they had a good reputation so I made an appointment. I arrived early and they took my vehicle immediately and started working. They are well staffed and everyone is courteous. They have a super clean professional shop (that's very important to me). They did a super neat and clean job on my car and had me back on the road in a reasonable amount of time. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Excellent experience from my first contact. I have used them before and this most recent home call for windshield replacement was over the top. The techs were undstanding and patient, I could tell they were concerned about me as person while doing a detailed job.Not only did they replace my window, they put back my phone mount and my oil change sticker. They also cleaned my car enough so it was driveable, which means more to me than they know.

I was pretty shaken up when my front windshield suddenly shattered while driving on i-95 on Thursday evening. Friday morning I called Delaware Auto Glass and was given a quote and appointment for Monday morning. I arrived today and was so happy with the customer service I received. My technician Duane (spell check) was so friendly and helpful. He walked me through everything and started working on replacing my windshield right away. I sat comfortably in the clean lobby with free wifi and literally 35 minutes later my new windshield was done. Duane even vacuumed up the glass inside my car and re-installed my dash camera, phone holder and EZ-Pass. All of this for half the price of Safelite . I'm so impressed and thankful!! Highly recommend Delaware Auto Glass for all of your Glass needs

Someone broke the window of my Kia, trying to steal it. I took it to Delaware Auto Glass and Duane and Chance worked on my car, and did an amazing job! customer service was great, they explained everything to me. Best experiences hands down! Make sure you asked for Duane and Chance!

Brought our vehicle there on spur of the moment. Didn't call them or notify them because we were just riding by. So we stopped in to see if they could fit Us in that day. They not only fit Us in. But, called us back within two hours to pick it back up. They are fast, friendly and, their prices are very reasonable. Not to mention they did a great job. I definitely recommend Delaware Auto Glass to anyone needing replacement glass on a vehicle. We surely will return again..if needed.They definitely without question get four stars!!

Had apt at 1 to replace windshield called at 8am asking to cone in earlier and was told cone now. There at 9 done by 9:45. Great service and quick. Definitely recommend

Great place, super helpful, had my jeep in and out in half an hour. They'll even come to your house if you need them to. Nothing against Safelite, but I'd rather support a local small business.

Unbeatable price for a new windshield, I honestly thought there was an error with my quote. Great location, one hour service in and out, decent size waiting room with plenty comfy chairs, this place is a miracle!!

Honest Business Practices! I noticed a 6-inch hairline crack in my 7-year-old Mitsubishi windshield. Even though I keep the windows down a little I thought my windshield was a victim of the pressure caused by the ongoing heatwave. I ran my finger over the crack, felt a raised edge and decided I'd better get it taken care of sooner rather than later. I called Delaware Auto Glass after reading other reviews and was able to make an appointment for the next day. I planned to drop her off as the shop was quite busy and I didn't want to rush the technicians. One of the fellows came out to look at the crack before I left the premises. After a quick assessment he asked me to hold on a minute and returned to the shop. A second man accompanied him back and confirmed his suspicion -- the "crack" ended up being a drizzle of hardened tree sap. They didn't make me feel stupid and said it was a pretty common occurrence -- though geez whiz I felt kind of dumb. Needless to say, they could have charged me for a new windshield and repurposed my old one -- or even simply cleaned the old windshield and called it an easy fix. These guys are super honest and I'm sure they do A+ work. I'll definitely recommend this small business to anyone needing replacement auto glass -- including sunroof repair! -- the Ladybug LadyService: Auto windshield replacement

I read a lot of the reviews before calling Delaware Auto Glass and have to say anyone who rated this place poorly is flat out wrong. From the second I called Delaware Auto Glass, Bob was professional and answered my questions. He informed me of all the information I needed to know prior to my appointment, including the cash price for my service and the 4% fee if I decided to pay credit. My appointment was for 8am and I got a call by 9:15am that my car was finished. Delaware Auto Glass has earned a customer for life if I ever need glass services again. Thank you for your professionalism, great service, and friendly attitude. I ll recommend Delaware Auto Glass to anyone I know.

I would stay away from this business. The Owner/Manager of this store has no respect to customers especially the way he treats. I was really shocked when he started using abusive language for no reason and this was my bad experience. He changed my windshield for my SUV few weeks ago and the work was not satisfactory, the rear view adjustment was not done correctly and I'm not able to see the rear view properly. and I'm not able to adjust it. I called and informed the owner, he asked me to go to his shop so they can do the adjustment. They did the adjustment, but I still have the same issue.I wish he returns my money back, I would go elsewhere and fix this.Service: Auto windshield repair
