I agree with the other negative reviews for this particular Tire Center. Few days back I went to this Costco Tire Center just to get the tire tread checked for any damage caused due to a scrap metal plate lodged into it and check for a warranty claim eligibility. One of the employees said that they can't take walk-ins and can book an appointment the next day, fair enough. The next day I reach there 15 minutes before the appointment and they said I have to wait for more than 2 hours as they are backed up. So I politely asked them to provide me an estimated time of my turn and I'll be back with my car or maybe I'll be back in the next hour and thus I will have to wait less in the tire shop, so the gentleman's response to my ask was, no matter what I have to wait there for 2 hours and there's no other option if I want to get my tires checked. He also went ahead and said that he can suggest me good movies on YT that I can watch while I'm waiting. I again asked him very politely, what's the reason that he wants me to wait there when I can be back in the next 1 or 2 hours, but his response was, whatever time I reach there, I will have to wait for 2 hours. That's what a walk-in means then why was I denied a walk-in the last day is still a mystery. What's the point of an appointment is another puzzle. The gentleman wanted me to leave my car there even though he will look at it only after minimum of 2 hours have been passed and didn't want me to wait at my home and be back when it's time for my turn. His other suggestion was to wait for a month and get the tire checked and summer tire replacement done at the same time so that I'll have to wait for 2 hours only once. That's not how warranty claim works so I decided to it myself and leave and before I left he smiled and asked me would I need another appointment and it comes with a wait time of minimum 2 hours. This tire center is not worth it. Last time I got work done on my other car, they left a lug nut into my glove box. I thought they would have changed over the years but looks like it's just going down from there.

I got tires installed today. The staff isn't the issue as much as it is Costco the corporation and/or upper management. All the negative reviews about customer service should be provided the context that the store seems to be understaffed and insufficiently supported. I heard an employee mentioned that their printer has been bad for over a month. How is Costco not able to get a new printer within a week? The store has a lot of volume despite the negative reviews. You will experience much of the negative aspects mentioned in reviews. I have to give staff credit for doing the best they can with what they have. They are humans and when you don't work in a good environment most humans will succumb to the negative impacts of that. It's no excuse but the reality. Ultimately if you hope for the best but plan for the worst you won't be disappointed with your visit

Tire are good and priced well. The center seems is understaffed. Booked an appointment and came on time and handed over the car to them and when checked after more than an hour I was told the car will be worked in turn!!! Not sure why the apportionment if they willNot work the car at that time.

Ordered tires online, scheduled appointment after they were delivered to the store. Showed up right at my appointment time on 3/23 and was taken care of right away. Got a call less than an hour later that my car was done. Thanks guys!

Arrived 30 minutes before the shop opened for a 10am appointment (never know how traffic is). Technician waiting to start his day saw me park and waved me in. They opened up 30 minutes early to get started on my car and I had it back in just over an hour.

1) Very short in staff. You wait for the whole day to get anything done in your tires.2) The customer service in this department are not helpful at all. They just want to make you leave and not come back again. Maybe because it a lot for them and they are short in staff as they say.3) The quality of the service is not as good as it was, I m not sure it s only this branch or it s for Costco in general.I hope they get back to that great service I liked about it before.

I will not buy tires at this location again. Customer service was awful. I arrive at 9:50 AM for a 10 AM appointment. I was eighth in line when the doors opened. I stood in line for a full hour (with an appointment) before completing check-in. (1) The service counter is understaffed. (2) The clerk was not adequately trained (never recorded my mileage and incorrectly recorded my cell phone number for notification when work complete). (3) There appears to be a lack of proper inventory control procedures as every customer required 5-10 minutes of manual search to determine whether their tires were on premises or not.

There is no drop box. Their hazard warranty tire that I needed took over a month to get delivered. So I had to get my own tire sourced, which only took 1 day including delivery.

4.5 hours!!!! I was warned by others and I did not listen. Arrived before my 1pm appt. Eventually left about 5:30. I would give this place zero stars if I could. When I got to the Christiana tire Center at just before 1pm, I asked how long it would take and was told 2-3 hours. I expected 1 hour maybe a little bit more. I said if over 2, then I will have to come back as I need to get back to work and cannot lose a day of work. They looked into it and then assured me it would be no more than 2 hours. The guys were all really nice.I grabbled lunch, wandered the Mall and Costco, etc. Pushing over 3 hours now and the car still isn't done. I kept my cool the entire time being unreasonably pleasant as my work day is quickly wasted away. Finally after 3.5 hours I get the call that the car is finally done. Now for what may be the worst, most disrespectful part- I bought tires a couple weeks ago with the rebate offered. A week later another advertisement comes out with free installation in addition to that same rebate. I figured the typical great response from Costco would be they would just adjust it for me. Not so! After the car is finally done, I had to wait and then talk to a supervisor who (long story short) said they could not/would not adjust it for me. He then got me a general manager (another long wait) who gave me the same response. Eventually I said just throw me a coupon or something, so I do not feel like a chump for being here for over 4 hours in addition to thinking you guys would do the right thing and refund me the additional rebate, even if not the whole thing. The guy said he would check something out. I never say him again and after 20-25 mins I finally get my keys from the front desk gentleman. He asked if I wanted to wait any longer for the manager, and I told him the manager must have forgotten about me and I had to leave. I was almost expecting a follow up call either about the extreme delay or the additional rebate. But of course I did not get any call. The shame of it is, I could have easily just cancelled my order and placed a new one, but I thought I was doing the right thing as I knew the tires were already delivered there after I ordered them. I wanted to get my other 2 cars done there in the upcoming months, but maybe Costco is only good for bulk food and I should stick to the local tire places.Side note- It is a very open space in the tire area waiting room. I overheard a conversation of a supervisor/manager saying they had to get more appointments in each day. The other guys were later complaining in the background that there were not enough guys working. It struck me later- they want more appointments for more revenue per day, obviously. Which makes sense. But it does not mean get more cars done faster with more employees. I guess they are trying to hit some specific corporate targets and customer comes last.

I am unhappy with my auto service at Costco. First time I went to install tires they gave my car back to me with the traction light on and the car was not driving smoothly. I told them the light wasn t there before and they said there was nothing they could do and it will go away on its own. I had to take my car to the mechanic to get it fixed. Second time I went for a tire rotation and balance on those same tires they put a random bolt in my cup holder which didn t match my car. There is a bolt missing in the front tire. I have to order another and get it fixed myself. If I tell them they tell me there is nothing they can do. Unhappy with my service.

Ordered four tires online, delivered a week ago, though they have trouble finding my tires, but the service was quick, also a quick inspection report also include. Additional free service comes with life time rotation, alignment, and free nitrogen.

I can't believe Costco allows this kind of behavior in their place.Guy who was handling customers in front was rude to everybody, he was kind of annoyed customers were keep coming.Very disorganized place and sloppy dirty work to top it of (greases on door and my new carpet mat and side of my seat, some i couldn't get it out yet)

Costco store is great with very energetic helpful staff but the tire center is completely the opposite, very poor customer service and extremely slow and unhelpful staff.

We had an appointment at 3:30 to have new tires put on (tires that were pre-ordered and had arrived days before). My husband sat there until 7:00. They were understaffed. Per the manager one person went home sick and one left early after being told not to. Despite having multiple people waiting excessive amounts of time for scheduled appointments, they continued to take walk in customers. I called to inquire what was going on with the tire department and was told that the walk in customers did not impact the work being done on my car. I call BS because a technician has to come from somewhere... and should not be working on a walk in when people have been waiting HOURS. Buyer beware. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE CENTER.

Someone mentioned that Staff is rude, disorganized and incompetent. I could not agree more. I called the center at 4:30pm and asked whether I need to make an appointment. The person there asked me to just come. I arrived at 5pm. There was a customer who were standing a bit away from the counter and I asked him whether he was in line. Well, Danny at the counter yelled at me not to cut in. When I told him that I was just asked whether he was in line. Danny smiled with a face like he was just joking. Well, I do not appreciate that kind of joke. When my turn comes, Danny told me that I had to the tire rotation would take 2 hours as this was the case there. Well, this is crazy! The person who answered my call should have told me that it would take that much time. Time for others does not concern them at all.

I had a 7PM appointment on a Monday which took an hour and a half. I was their last appointment. My service was done in haste which resulted in me having to get towed on the NJ turnpike on a Thursday. The tire s valve stem was not installed correctly which resulted in my tire losing air on the highway and getting flat on the turnpike. This was only 3 days from service. When I went to the store to speak to Juan he was not sympathetic and told me I would have to wait until 9PM to get it checked out or schedule an appointment for after October 15th. I argued and said it had to be done today when I didn't cause this. He finally went to check my car. No apologies, he just told me to come back tomorrow when the tire has shipped. He then wanted me to pay for installation. I already had to get my car towed for $150 off of the turnpike. He then says that I'm good to go. I have to remind him to give me back my keys and membership card. When I got to my car, I noticed he left my trunk open. Their only redeeming quality is their manager. He was more sympathetic towards my situation and was able to reimburse for the tow. However, because of my horrible experience with staff, horrible tire installation, and having my safety at risk, I am urging people to stay away.

A Month ago I have booked an appointment for 6.45 PM in a Friday Evening(Yesterday), as instructed by the appointment confirmation email I have reached there 15 mins earlier. But, it took 3 Hrs. to get my car back which was 9.45PM. I don't understand the purpose of making an appointment here. Eventhough the cost is higher than Walmart - I chose Costco because I thought it is convenient to get the tires done while we do the shopping. But here they made me to wait additional couple of hours to get the job done :( Totally disappointed.

Staff is rude, disorganized and incompetent. They need to hire one person to work phones and process customers. Let the technicians work on tires and not waste time at the front desk. Took 8.5hrs to get 4 tires installed. 2 guys were on break while they had a line of customers out the door when it was my turn to be waited on the tech said, sorry sir, it s my break time and walked away. I had to wait another 5 minutes until another tech wondered to the front desk.

Came here again after the previous gentlemen helped me out, and I was lucky enough to see Derrick again at pick-up who helped me get the car out quick so I could put groceries away. At drop-off another Derrick with longer hair was solo at the front and incredibly patient and friendly. I'm not a morning person but he put me in a good mood.Hope I didn't need new tires soon but because of all these guys I will get them here.worked with Danny, Derrick, Aaron, and the supervisor (God I should've written it down I think it was Gene?). There was an issue with my car, not Costco's fault, and they bent over backwards to take care of me.There's no other Costco tire around so it was super crowded, but the staff made everything worth it.I'll be coming back because of those four guys!

The good: Great price on tires and install. Good warranty with free inflation/rotation/balance.The bad: The service. I arrived for a 2:30 "appointment" at 2:15. It took over 15 minutes for the person at the counter to look up my order, find my tires, and have me sign the paperwork. Then he told me it would be around an hour and a half to two hours until they were done, but then remarked that with the appointment it should only be an hour and a half. Seriously? Are you kidding? I specifically came at that time when they offer "appointments" so I wouldn't have to wait long. I would have been better off going another time when the store wasn't as busy and just waiting in line, especially since they were saying 45-60 minutes to walk-ins as I was waiting. It ended up taking an hour and 40 minutes until I got my car. I like the price, but you get what you pay for in service.

They need more staff! Waited 40 minutes just to buy a battery to go as 1 employee walked around the whole shop trying to find tires for customers. Good prices, just be prepared to bring your patience.

Extremely disappointing that Costco continues to employ such unprofessional people. For example today, Danny was making fun of a man for coming to Costco and being cheap even though he has an expensive Tesla . If I ran a company and my employees were telling customers they were only patronizing my place of business because they were cheap, they would be fired on the spot.If you can actually get someone on the phone, expect to be hung up on 2-3 times before having a conversation.A simple purchase, such as a battery, was a colossal headache and took 8 weeks start to finish. After having paid for the battery in person, the employees lost my order and needed to redo it approximately 5 weeks after purchase. Nobody followed up, no emails, nothing. My payment was taken and then my order was completely abandoned. Eventually, I was able to get my battery, but with the hassle it took I would ve rather paid 2x and actually had decent service. The people that work at Costco Tire Center are rude, incompetent, and extremely unprofessional. Allowing them to continue representing the Costco brand is a mistake.

They have very good price tires. If you have membership, you can order michelin tire for very good price online. Tire installed perfect, the cost for service is also good. But I will not give it 5 star for the long time waiting and not friendly service. I have an appointment online, and I get there 15 min before. But I wait about 30 min. The staff works very inefficient. The front desk was left unattended for 15 minutes and everyone stood waiting. And what makes me feel uncomfortable is that an staff made joke of my English. He may not be deliberate, but I feel uncomfortable. I am not a native speaker, and I know my English is not good. But he should not do that.BTW The staff did good service when I pick up my car, so the service quality you got is depends.

Tires were installed perfectly. Average rating results from long waiting time in line both to drop off and pick up vehicle (despite having an appointment). They are extremely busy; not a problem if you have a few hours to go shopping while you wait.

Tried to turn me away for a tire rotation because I didn t have an appointment; started they only took people with appointments. This was a shock since I walked in three months ago without an appointment and it only took 90 minutes for a tire rotation. When I questioned Derek (guy behind counter) about when the policy changed he said, a few months ago , the goes on to state actually you don t NEED an appointment but if your willing to wait 4-5 hours. That s shocking since it was 10am on a Monday and only two of four bays had cars in them. Plus they had 10 minutes to yell and have fun in the bay while we waited for anyone to come to the counter.... Seems like they are just pushing people away for some reason.Great prices, but customer service is getting terrible.

I have been here twice in 3 years. The last time in 2017 was good. We got a good deal for 4 tires and the service was great. However, today I was disappointed with the service. I got a flat tire, and wanted to get it repaired. I took it to two professional tire shops yesterday and they both told me it was only a small hole and no damage inside, so it is repairable. But with the trust to Costco, I still decided to take it to the Costco Tire Center for repair. After about two hours, the technician gave me a call and told me it was unrepairable. I explained that I have already had it checked and it should be repairable. Then the technician told me okay it was repairable (Did you just said it was unrepairable???) but the tire condition is too old and they did not want to repair it because it will put me in danger (My tire only had 16,000 miles and only 4 years). I said okay, can you just repair it for this time because even if I order a new tire it still needs time to be shipped to the store and I cannot use the spare for a long time. Then they just told me rudely that the they will not repair it anyway. They did not refund the repair fee either. I was totally upset. Finally I took it to another store with a great reputation and they just fixed the problem without any questions. They also guaranteed that it was a very small hole and I will have no problem at all.I understand that Costco may not make money by performing such a small repair. And understand what they told me about danger. However, they just ruinned my trust to them. If you think you are charging too little for the repair, you can increase the price according to the accident or the materials you use. But you cannot lie to your customer by persuading them buying tires and refusing the repair.

Don t get your tire work here. Bought 4 new tires for my 13 Toyota. Coming home, the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) light came on. All tires are fine. Go back the next day, they tell me 3 of the 5 TPMS sensors are bad and need to be replaced @ $60 each. So, they were fine for eight years and now suddenly three are bad? Yes, they only last about five to eight years, so you should probably replace all of them. (My other Toyota is over 10 years old and the original sensors are fine.) So, I come back few days later to get the new sensors. Check in at 9:30am. They never call me to tell me my car is ready. I finally called them at 6:30pm. It must be ready, I have the keys! Seriously, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere.

Good selection of tires in stock. Quick delivery of ordered tires. Make an appointment for tire installations and tire rotations. Can be a long wait to check in. They are typically short staffed at the counter so allow extra time to get waited on.

They messed up my appointment. They lost my data twice from log and i can to come back on different day. After they serviced I started getting sound from my wheels. When I took it back to them, they said tires are fine, sounds is coming from something else and they can not help.Price was good for the tires.
