This place was recommended Highly for me to try to get a AM/FM radio CD player for my classic car.Lucky for me they did have several AM/FM CD radios that was a Kentwood brand.The manager and owner Darren was very very helpful with me to the specifics of what I need it for my car.He went out to my car just to check the old radio that I used to have that no longer works and recommended the Kentwood radio for me and gave me all the price for the installation plus the additional two speakers and also wanted a remote control.He did tell me that it may take up to two days to install the radio due to the year of the car but fortunately for me It only took one day I dropped it off in the morning and it was done by late afternoon.The gentleman Matt installed my radio for my car then Matt the salesman came out and show me all the different functions that I needed to do plus it also has Bluetooth capability so we got everything hooked up through my iPhone and then show me how the remote control works.The system sounds great it was professionally installed and all three guys were very courteous and professional and knew what they were doing.I recommend this place very very highly.

I have had Audio Works install audio gear for friends and Family over the last 10 years. I had new leather seat covers put in my daughters car for Christmas and every time ,no mater what the job has been, they have always done a fantastic job. So, if you are in the area this store should be your first choice for anything vehicle related!!

We met these guys at the Bronco Beach Bash in OC Maryland. They could not have been any more professional and friendly! They even managed to get Juke Box Hero to play when I was trying to make a decision..Sold!Installed it right there and now we're riding home enjoying some tunes!

#1 ***** (five star) for service, product knowledge and customer commitment. I saved $900 because of Audio Works! Darren and Pete, explained the remote start system in my old vehicle was reusable and compatible with my new mercedes. I was prepared to buy a new system, but they were honest and went above and beyond by removing the old unit from the old vehicle at the dealership! I am a customer for life. This type of service is extremely rare! I trust the Audio Works team.

These guys go above and beyond to give the customers what they are looking for.I had just bought a 2019 Mustang GT with a 4" factory stereo. I hated it. I called Audio Works and spoke with Darren. He was extremely helpful. He told me to come on down and look at my options.From the beginning he was upfront and honest. Never tried to up sell me or talk me into something I didn't need. I found a Kenwood at a fantastic price. Set up an appointment and left my car there. Unfortunately the harness for the 2019 Mustangs had a manufacture defect. So they got me a new one within 2 business days. After a second attempt, it was validated by the maker of the harness that they have technical issues with 2019's and it just won't work with my vehicle.Darren called and apologized and gave me a couple of alternate options. The fellas really came through and I got my radio upgraded to an 8" factory unit with all the bells and whistles.Now here is the best part. I asked if they did digital dash installs for the Mustang. He said they have never done one before. So Darren pulls up google and the next thing I know he's on the phone seeing if he can get me one.Not only did he get me one, but Audio works was the first of its kind in Delaware to do a dashboard swap on a 2019 Mustang. I was told it could take up to 2 days to install because it has never been done before and they would need technical support. Well, it was completely done in 4 hours.I am absolutely THRILLED with the outcome. I could not be more pleased with the work done by Audio Works. This is now my ONLY stop for my electronic needs.Please don't change a thing. From customer service, friendliness, helpfulness, to workmanship. You guys are killing the competition.

Audio Works installed leather seats in my Jeep Wrangler. They did an outstanding job and the price was a fraction of what the stealership wanted to charge me. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. Thank you!

I recently purchased a 4Runner after wanting 1 for a few years now. I loved everything about it except it didn't have Apple Carplay. After being disappointed with 3 other car audio installers I stumbled upon Darren & the Audio Works team located less than a mile away from the University of Delaware. When I initially entered the shop I felt as if I went back in time. This place reminds me of the shops we used to have 20-25 years ago. I described to Darren the issues I had with the other installers & what I wanted in my 4Runner. Unlike the other installers & to my surprise Darren had everything in stock to do the install. Darren didn't attempt to up sell me on anything. Kyle did the install & it is flawless. I have the Kenwood Excelon DDX9906XR which was the 1st 1 installed from these guys. It is an amazing radio that allows wireless Carplay. These guys are my car audio guys now & I will be back for more in the future.

I really appreciate these guys, they were able to work around my schedule and in a prompt manner. I went to Audio Works to get Remote start, keyless entry and an alarm installed and have no regrets.The business was very clean and organized and the waiting room had a tv and even a massage chair. The staff was very courteous and answered all of my questions.I left this business knowing and feeling like I'm fully taken care of and even if I run into issues I just feel like I can always give them a call and they wouldn't hesitate to take care of me.Will recommend this business to anyone looking for any kind of modifications to their vehicle, from rims, speakers, amps etc and I'm sure if they don't have it they can order it. Give them a call if you have any questions!

Our car stereo (the CD part of it) died after 15 years. It was agonizing driving around and not being able to play CDs! We found Audio Works on line, and took the car in for an estimate on a new radio/CD player. We wanted a basic system, with no bells or whistles. Steven found us the perfect Kenwood radio for our car. The cost plus installation was very reasonable, and it was installed in less than an hour! The new radio is a beauty, although admittedly it has more features than we'll ever need! It is so good to be able to play CDs in the car again. The installation was very professionally done, and you would not know, by looking at it, that the new radio was not original equipment.Steven was a great help, and it was a pleasure working with him. Thanks, Steven, for taking the time to explain the features of our new car stereo! I hope that we never need to replace another car stereo, but Audio Works would definitely be our choice to do the work.Many many thanks!

The customer service and quality of service here in unmatched. I originally came in with a radio that I had purchased from another store to be installed by Audio Works. The techs did an awesome job with the installation, but unfortunately I had purchased a defective radio from the third-party seller. Darrin and his team were extremely accommodating and understanding when I explained the situation, and they offered to install the second radio that I purchased (from them this time) free of charge since I had already paid for one install. Their inventory is diverse and reasonably priced, and they really have something for whatever your needs/ wants are. It is rare to find a business that values their customers more than turning a profit, and Audio Works is one of them.The price of installation was more than fair, and the techs did a very professional, aesthetically pleasing job installing the new radio. Installation was timely, and the staff were very transparent and upfront about any extra materials/ costs that would be incurred. The price I was quoted before the installation was the exact price I paid at the end which was reassuring. If you are looking for any after-market accessories for your vehicle, you should definitely give these guys a call or stop into the store.

It was a pleasure working with this company. Everything from the initial inquiry of a remote start, to the actual installation in my vehicle was a great experience. They are very attentative, the cost was fair, and the quality of service could not be better. They have a good team of workers here. I will be a returning customer, and definitely recommend them.

Had a great experience at Audio Works for a sound system installation in my vehicle. Staff was extremely knowledgeable about the products they were offering, as well as specific installation procedures for my vehicle. The installation was fast, professional, and looks/sounds amazing! I will definitely back in the near future for additional work. 5 Stars!!!

I had my first experience with Audio Works Oct of 2018. I arrived to have service ( that I thought was rescheduled) and their manager , named Reggie informed me that I had no appointment. All though they were booked they kindly accepted my error and offered my service be handled first thing the next morning!!! Great deal for me.!! Upon getting service the next day , I had software installed in my car that I knew would be a challenge for me to operate. Their service was installed clean, seamless , and timely!! Reggie walked me through every step of the process in functioning the new installation and even talked sports ( lol). Easy to understand and get along with. After my service was complete and I left I managed to offset one of the settings making it inoperable in the same day!!! I called Reggie and he told me bring it back and took me right in and got me squared away, free of charge!!! Great business, great people , great service!! Every vehicle I have will get serviced by them only. Ask for Reggie!!

Just got kicker subwoofers put in today on my 2020 Toyota Camary and I absolutely love it. Sounds awesome!!! They did an amazing job. Pleasant people to work with and super helpful. They got the job done in 3 hours and I'm completely satisfied with everything they did. I definitely recommend going here. They do a lot of other custom things to your vehicles. I plan on going to them again in the future.

Awesome staff super knowledgeable went in to get a new radio unit for my wife's jeep and asked if they could do it today and they said no problem we got you. An hour later it Looks great and sounds great will definitely be going back for all my audio needs. Wife loves it. Thanks so much. Super professional, knowledgeable, fast and great people

Communication about install, price, and appointment was absolutely awesome. All through texting 10pm and 6am the next day.Service was second to none, extremely happy with service.Shop is very nice and clean!5 's - I would aggressively persuade anyone to use Audio Works if it crosses their minds.

First time I've worked with AudioWorks and I'll definitely be a repeat customer for future installs.I had them work on my RAM 1500. I had them put on an aftermarket rear bumper, since the license plate lights needed to be rewired. They also installed a new exhaust system for me as well as front/back flood lights and hooked it all up to a switch board they put in for me as well.I left my truck there in the morning, and they had it finished soon after opening the following morning. Great, knowledgeable, courteous group of guys. I worked with Darren through the whole process. Received a few calls from them throughout the process because they wanted to make sure everything was done exactly the way I wanted it to on the first go.They also do a lot more than just audio/video/wiring as they have advertised on their site. Just drop an email or a call and see if they can get it done for you since they love working on new projects. I'll definitely be returning in the future when I have some new things I need put on or changed for my baby.

Top notch shop with employees to match. I met Darren and some of the installers for what seems like many years ago at their previous location. I've brought two of my vehicles for alarm/remote start installations and never had an issue to this day. I came in recently to upgrade my existing remote start system and as always he was informative and thoroughly explained my options. Congrats on the new spacious location and will be back to have a remote start system installed on the wifey's new car.

I've used Audio Works since 2012, and Darren has always been a stand up guy to deal with. No nonsense, quality workmanship, actually uses the products they sell and gives honest advice. My go-to spot in Newark for everything from headlights, to stereo's and even lift kits! Give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed!

Excellence in every area! Customer service is top-notch and the men (Darrin and Reggie) I spoke to over the phone, were friendly and more than happy to answer all my questions. I was there to have an automatic car starter installed for my daughter's car for Christmas. As it turned out, unbeknownst to us, she already had a factory installed starter. Darrin showed her how to use it and did not charge a penny. It was a good Christmas for both of us. I highly recommend this company!

Ah, finally, my car no longer sounds like a kazoo factory! The sound is now incredible at any volume, clear with high fidelity. It was a long journey for me but so glad I found Audio Works and the excellent team at the store. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and had my best interest in the decisions we made for the sound system. For me, quality and cost were the greatest concerns and Audio Works exceeded my hopes for the project.

Went in for a lift and wheels wasn't to knowledgeable on the subject but told them I wanted a good amount of lift and the tires not to big where there's alot of tire sticking out the wheel well. When I went to pick up the truck I couldn't be happier truck looked awesome exactly what I was looking for. My OEM tires were put into my truck with all the lugs and everything. Very pleased and we'll worth the hour trip. Will be going back to get an auto start come next winter. You want professional work done on your truck check this place out. Def recommend them 5 stars!!

Was able to make an appointment on a Sunday which was helpful since my anniversary was on a Sunday & the stereo was a gift for my bf. The employees were knowledgeable and friendly & when they said they would call back after doing some research...they did! Prices were reasonable & installation was super quick and done right! Would definitely recommend Audio Works!
