Next time a young person comes into your store on a rainy day and purchases 2 front wipers, please take the 2 minutes and assist them with installation. The sign on your store front states Free wiper installation it doesn t state Free wiper installation only in dry weather . If someone is buying wipers on a rainy day, they probably really need them. If that means you get wet, you probably should have brought a poncho or umbrella to work with you since it was raining all day. What you should not have done was say no . Manger Frank, Bob, John and the female that work there I hope next time you ll just go help the person. You re in a business of service and you failed. We spend a lot of money at Advanced, unfortunately we will not be spending our money with you ever again because of this. My daughter went to AutoZone across the way and they installed her wipers and it took them 1 minute. The guy got wet and I called them and thanked them because my daughter had a 2 hr drive home for Easter. Glad some businesses like AutoZone still have integrity. You all created a lot of stress and tears that day but mostly you disappointed a young person who just needed a minute of help.

I came in because my battery died twice in one day and I suspected it was toast. Ben helped me, confirmed that it was in fact, real dead, and helped me with deciding on a new battery. What I was really impressed with was the time and care he took putting the new one in for me. He explained what he was doing and what to look out for since I'd had corrosion on the last one. He was very thorough in making sure he replaced rusted out screws etc for me and treating the new battery to resist the corrosion. I really appreciated his work, and that he didn't try to sell me on some top level battery that I didn't need! Next time I need something I'll definitely come back to this store.

Needed a wiper blade on the dubble. Guy had it installed for $35 bucks. Respectful and courteous.

The staff here is always great and polite to my family.Tonight was a rare occasion where i dropped the ball, but Alexa and Dominick (sorry for any misspelled names) killed it with the customer service i recieved. Greatly appreciate all the hard work, expertise, professionalism and exceptional amount of patience with my issue. Thank you guys again. Definitely a great team at this store.

Save your money for a business that wants and deserves your money auto zone is a few miles up the street and very helpful .When I walked in to get parts for my car . 3 employees were standing behind the register talking about their lives . The store looked dirty . They could have been working but instead they were using company time to talk . I felt like I was interrupting them . When I asked for a part the older guy chuckles at me as if he couldn t be bothered with a customer interruption at that moment and asks me well what car do you have like the make and model and year ? I used to work at an auto shop and this guy judged me based off of me being a female I assume ? Either way I get the most expensive option for this part that they have I ask for different pricing options and he gives me something also expensive.. I tell him I will just look online because I was on their website and found something cheaper and he says ok sounds good . I had to go out to my car and order curbside pick up because he wasn t interested in helping me . Customer service is literally the easiest job ever these types of jobs are first time jobs because they are literally that easy . Still grown adults can t seem to get it right . They need a lesson in business and who pays their bills .

Terrible customer service there was a guy there sunglasses on long dirty beard as soon as I walked in I wasn't greeted at all stepped up to the counter the guy was very short and gave me a very rude energy. He acted like checking my engine light was the worst thing in the world. After checking my light wasn't giving any help or insight about the codes that were given basically a example about a doctor which doesn't help me in the least. I've been black a very long time and I know racist energy and it's a lot of racist energy in that place. I had to fight myself to go back in and buy fluids that I needed for my car that also wasn't checked after the code said that the fluids weren't reaching the right place basically. I would definitely tell people to not go there unless you're a middle-aged white person.

They even carry BLINKER FLUID ! I love Advance Auto . It's the only chain I chop with , other than Tri State Battery

Friendly and all around great employees. Huge selection of parts, accessories, sodas/drinks, and anything car related. Need your battery tested? They will test it, Check engine light on? They will check and run the codes, need alternator tested? They do that as well. They also do loaner tools. I shop here regularly, and 100% recommend this place.

The people at this location have the worst customer service ever. The must be a behavior that is permitted and promoted by management because virtually all the employees have an arrogance and rudeness about them. Go somewhere else!

They have the parts I need to do my own car maintenance. Prices are reasonable. When I know what I need, I often buy online to get the 20% discount then pick up in the store. When I am not sure, I usually buy in the store. The staff is very helpful discussing a repair and helping me gather up what I will need.

The lady is very rude. At first she was kinda yelling at me when I asked for parts for two different cars.I made a slightly mistake when I got the wrong part from an aisle and she was mumbling saying something like "...don't understand... " and also she was rude with another costumer. She should understand that not all people know car parts like she does.

Thank you very much for helping me with my wipers today. They treated me as a valued customer and not like those from the Bear Delaware location. The bear location is closer to my home but they will not see any more business from me or my family.

There is nothing exceptional and nobody did anything to make my experience extraordinary.I presented them with an opportunity to do exactly that but nobody took the bait.Instead everybody who prefer to refer me to YouTube videos.It's an auto parts store and you get what you expect

Good friendly retail AND a "real" parts store. My go-to now.I ordered brake parts online and ordered the wrong ones. The accepted the return and helped me locate the right ones. Got em the next day.Sweet

Terrible...Had an online order. Came to pickup and got the parts. Took home to install only to realize one part was the wrong item. Drove back over to store wasting more gas and time to find store crowded and only staffed by 2 employees at 6 PM! The only person inside to help was on a personal call on his cell phone and he couldn't focus his attention to my needs. He actually started helping other customers until the other employee came back inside to issue me a refund after searching the store for the correct item. I will never shop here ever again.

The store itself was clean and neat. I am not impressed by sales counter guy. Went in for brake parts and to order new brake line kit. Not only did the sales guy want to sell us individual replacement brake line pieces, he argued that there was no such thing as a complete brake line replacement kit; until I gave him the brand and kit number.We did purchase the brake parts, although I personally wouldn't of purchased anything due to the aditude.

While away for a weekend a brake light came on. We went to grab some brake fluid to try to remedy the issue and were met with some incredible customer service! The representative was friendly, offered to take a look at the car and gave us some great advice. I am impressed and would highly recommend this location!

My husband and I went to purchase a $275.00 battery from the Wilmington location on 05/01/2021 at 10:35 am. They didn't have the battery at that location and told us to come pick the battery up at the Newark store #6261 Marrows Rd. My husband arrived to pick up the battery at 11:00 am and asked the sales associate if they could put the battery in, the sales associate slammed the battery down and said I wasn't told I had to do that to which my husband reponded well let me not inconvenience you. He picked up the battery off of the counter and had to drive back to Wilmington location just to get the battery installed. They were extremely professional and courteous. This whole ordeal is a huge inconvenience and a waste of time and resources. The customer service at the Newark location is nonexistent. We would like a member of management to reach out to us to discuss this matter. Thank you.

I yell you what I wish I knew the name of the gentleman that helped me and my friend usually I have the worst times in these stores long waits never know what they are speaking about (I'm ase certified) so I'm well aware of how knowledgable they truly are. Anyways this guy was so well educated in the products and on just about anything any1 asked us he helped 4 ppl by the time the other 2 guys helped 1 each best advanced auto in my opinion no long lines!!

Advance Auto has the easiest buy online and pick up at the store purchasing and the prices here are usually better than the other local chain stores. In addition, there are usually discounts you can apply to your online purchaase available if you make the effort to find them. I can't always say the same for the competition. This isn't to say the competition is bad. I like one of the competitors who I shall Not Announce Presently At this time. It is to say Advance is good and because of it, they are my first go to choice when shopping for local parts pickup.

What a terrible experience. Went in looking for a fuel pump cutoff switch. The girl had no idea egat that was. She went and got the manager, who now has a chip on his shoulders that I was rude to one of his employees. I was not rude and she is obviously ignorant about auto parts. Ultimately, found out that they don't carry this part. Pep boys did.

Customer Service?Friendly most of time. Sometimes they have grumpy guys.Sometimes they ask for car specifications that maybe only a mechanic know about.Trust?I gave my VIN number once, and I still got the wrong part.It was once I pay almost $600 dollars for motor light on my dash, ruled out that I was given the wrong motor oil viscosity.Now everytime I buy oil I double check specifications.

With snow falling and with the store closing in less than an hour, I walked in to buy wiper blades. I was very surprised when friendly and helpful employee Mike K. walked out to the parking lot with me and installed the wipers on my car. Thanks Mike!
