Do not hesitate to bring your vehicle to John. I had just bought this Acura and the previous owner completely destroyed the wiring in the vehicle when trying to connect a subwoofer. Everything you shouldn t do they did. I didn t think that anyone would be able to fix what they had did to the car. But when I brought my car to John he fixed everything completely in just a couple hours. He s extremely knowledgeable, he has great customer service and was even updating me with pictures as he was fixing my car. Now I have a perfectly working sound system, and I have touchscreen radio with Apple Carplay on an 07 vehicle. Also I thought I was gonna have to pay close to a grand to get all of that fixed, but nope he has the best prices for certain. I won t be taking my car anywhere else but here for all my wiring needs.

John was super helpful when I asked him about installing a dash camera! He told me what kind of wire I needed for my model camera/car. His prices were reasonable and it was easy to schedule with him. He was super friendly and told me I could call if I had any questions in the future or needed to safely unhook the camera to take the top off my Jeep. I highly recommend John!

John installed lights on my trailer. He has also done other jobs for me. His work is exceptional as well as his customer service. He always goes above and beyond to make sure you receive the best service.

Great service thought it would be a few hours to get a radio installed with back up camera. Was done in about a hr or less. John walked me threw how to use everything, all my steering wheel controls worked. Definitely will be returning for other services

12 Volt did me right, first John was very patient with me and explain everything to me , took my phone call when I called , reply to my text message when I text him.His shop is in Delaware not far from Philadelphia airport about a 40 minutes ride well worth it, his shop put on my fog light , under glow kit, brake lights , turn signal lights, my angel wings and my grill protection/ radiator cover .My wife was thinking getting a slingshot and John was able to tell her about it and give her a crash course ....Great job John you and your team is the bomb Thanks John and 12 Volt

I had the honor of working with John. He was very nice and professional. Got the job done in the time he stated. The job was super clean, no visible wires. Even the bass controls was cleanly installed. I set up my appointment over email they were fast to respond. I also received updates on when the car was done. Not to mention they had the best prices I could find.

A+++ Best company around!!! The owner makes you feel a part of his family. This is the second time I've used them for the underglow on my vehicle and I couldn't be happier. They take pride in their work and the product they use, and it shows. He made sure I had a comfortable spot to wait while the work was being done. Great company, great owner. Exceptional work. We emailed John a few weeks ago seeing if he could change our head unit in our 2011 Ford focus from a cd player to a touchscreen that has Android Auto and he was kind and patient with us through the whole process. He answered our questions (from brands, options and to how he will incorporate it into the car) and got us in quickly. Took him a few hours and we got it back the same day. Very easy to work with.. highly recommend 12 Volt Specialist and I will keep him in mind for any future work with our other cars.

Great shop! He fixed my system that someone else previously installed. Now my audio system is louder and won't overheat. Couldn't find a technician who would look at it since it was an Audi A8. He took it in with no problem. Fixed it over a month ago and I haven't turned it off yet. Wish every technician was as thorough as he is. Love my music!Updated: New car, same great service!

I have known John (owner) at 12volt Specialist for many years. I delivered Auto Parts to him while working part time at several different companies. John was always very kind and courteous to me while making my deliveries. So when it came time to put lights on my motorcycle, and a remote start in my vehicle, he was the man for the job.John s work is to perfection. That s just who John is. John s pricing is alway s fair. I would highly recommend 12 Volt Specialist, John & his staff are the best !!!!

Jhon was quick to answer my call at the shop and the many questions I had about getting a system installed in my truck. He is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He also went out of his way to give me a ride home. He gave me a time slot to come on a moments notice as well. Everything looked factory when I picked up my vehicle and worked as it should. I'd highly recommend this shop. Thanks, man.

Can t say enough great things about this shop and the owner. Goes above and beyond. Trusted him with my brand new 2022 Slinsgshot and he made her shine! Lighting inside & out, wheel rings, installed the shade top, sounds, custom parts, even it s first maintenance! We are a fire department family and won t go anywhere else!

I was very surprised with how fast this guy worked. I came in with the intention of only getting a diagnostic for my headlights and having to come back and this guy fixed everything within one hour. And he hooked me up with LED lights. Definitely go to this guy if you need any electrical work for your car!

I would suggest anyone that wants car audio or lighting put in their car to go to him he is reasonable with pricing on parts and labor and is very knowledgeable about making sure your car setup is done correctly the firs

These guys are amazing! Worked with me the whole time to insure that the system I got installed was the best one for my vehicle. They did a great installation and did it quickly and efficiently. I dropped my car off at 1145 and it was done and ready to be picked up at 2. The customer service from these guys is top notch too. Very kind and accommodating. I will always take my vehicles to them. Stop searching you found the right shop.

Well I haven't come in to get work done to my 2023 slingshot S with tech pkg1 BUT just saw and took pics of a gentleman named James that had his after market work done on his Slingshot and it is So TIGHT and so HOT looking...the roof the speakers,seat covers,the amazing Lights all over it...FANTASTIC work! ( Even the mechanics at Polaris retailer couldn't believe how good the workmanship was done)!!When I am ready to get some extras done ,YOU definitely have my business!Can't wait to show my husband what I'm thinking of doing to the black one he just gifted me with last month!GREAT WORK TO ALL of YOU who worked on James white&black Slingshot!!

John was very professional and knows his craft as well, and not to mention that he finished the work in a very timely manner. I dropped my motorcycle off the day before my appointment to get a multi zone LED lighting kit installed and by 11 AM the day of my appointment, it was completed. I was very ecstatic with the results and he thoroughly explained how to use the app on my phone to control the lights. I highly recommend going to him for any vehicle electronic services. Job well done.

A good friend suggested this place 12 Volt specialists as I was screwed at another place on another friend suggestion to install lights.Trusting John with my 2022 Charger on Feb 1st, 2023 was the best thing I did for my car. After letting him know how frustrated I was with the work done outside by someone else with my lights. He not only corrected the problem but took his time to explain the issue and the correction he made to solve the problem. Without rushing me out of the place. That s what you call customer service. He knows what he is doing and you don t need another place to take of your car if you love it. Thank you once again John I know my car will start when I want and not drain the battery.Good luck & best wishes!

Definitely see why 12 Volt Specialist has a 5.0 Google rating. We wanted to have remote starters installed in our sons' cars as Christmas gifts. Although I work on cars a lot, we weren't sure how to go about having one installed. I wasn't sure what to ask or what to expect but John walked me through the process politely answering several follow up questions from me and finally gave me a really competitive price quote.On our scheduled installation day, he was already preparing when we arrived and gave us confidence the job was going to be done right. I can tell he knows his way around a car because both of ours are older models with some glitches but he was able to install both with no problem. HUGE smiles from us when he demonstrated the remote start function and the cars fired up for the first time!Really pleased with our experience at John's garage. We received great customer service and are looking to take our vehicles back there in the future.

John was absolutely wonderful to work with. My husband has wanted a remote start for a long time. Our auto mechanic recommended 12 Volt, so we reached out to John based on the recommendation. So glad we did! Price was very reasonable, scheduling was easy and convenient, and last but not least, the service was quick and John was very helpful, knowledgeable AND nice! My car is next and we will definitely refer friends and family!

Very pleasant experience my first time around with John at 12 Volt. Wanted to wire up an aftermarket sunroof to a factory switch, most electricians wouldn't even attempt this, or if they did, they wanted to charge for even trying with no guarantee of success. John took on the challenge and got it working, though i ended up having to return to the universal switch for other reasons, he was very helpful and conscientious about getting me back into the shop ASAP so he could fix it up for me. He obviously takes a lot of pride in his work and has a great rate and works fast. Highly recommended, also, he's a nice dude so that goes a long way with doing any kind of business. 10/10

Saying John from 12volt is a MACHINE!! I's easily an understatement from the moment I drove up it was automatic. John is very quick and friendly with knowledge beyond most I've encountered. The shop is very welcoming and the process is painless. I was satisfied 10000% and will bring EVERYTHING I ORDER to John!.. Kudos you'll be selling yourself short going elsewhere. Easily best service and prices in Delaware YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!!.

My wife wanted a camera in her car. I googled for this type of service in Delaware and contacted John at 12 Volt and I m glad I did. John walked us through the different models and capabilities to ensure we were getting the best product for our needs. The friendliness, timeliness, professionalism, and craftsmanship of the install was exactly what we wanted.I surely will be going back for my own camera install for my Jeep Wrangle and might even upgrade my sound system. This guy seems to do it all and I highly recommend this company.
