Super-duper friendly, down to earth, extremely informative, family oriented "Motorized Bike Everything, One Stop Shop." Bought our sons 1st dirt bike & helmet here. They gave him the run down on safety n how to ride. He was off n didnt take his helmet off for a whole week! He even slept in it! Months later, Just like a 1st time rider, our son messed up the bike in several different ways, so we brought it back n "Boom" they fixed it right up, no problem. Glad our family came here! Thank You for everything! I'm sure we will b back again & again!

Debbie was very friendly knowledgeable and accommodating. I'll be bringing my scooter from out of town to get it fixed. I can't wait to get it fixed so that I can be back on the road again. I'll update once the repairs are finished.** I took my scooter there and I'm so happy I did. John kept me up to date during the repair process and found the very hard to find parts and got it fixed for me. It got cold after I got it so I didn't get to ride a lot. But the times that I did get to ride it made me so happy because I know I'll be ready to ride in the spring. I wish they had location closer to me then I can take it there for regular maintenance. I will definitely refer anyone who needs their scooter fixed. Thanks Ace Cycles!!

Took a third hand Chinese scooter (that no other shop would work on) that wouldn t start to John at Ace. He got er running and dint break my bank account. Had an issue on my 20 mile trip home. Called him and of his own volition drive ten miles from his shop and got er started and me on my way. The guy is crazy knowledgeable about anything on two, three - heck probably four wheels. Very laid back and lives what he does. Ace Cycle IS my GO TO shop!

The owner John is always pleasant and knowledgeable. Cleaning products and lubes i have gotten there have all worked well. I do most of my own service but what I had done there was a fair price.

Got fast, friendly, professional service on my motorcycle here, for a reasonable price. John the scooter doc was very good about communicating and keeping me informed. Will happily be returning in the future and highly recommend to anyone who will listen. Yes, this is a "rave" review!!

I have been taking my 1991 Honda Nighthawk to Ace for over a decade.. Every Spring he tunes it up, swaps out any tires that need it, and it runs like a top. Thanks John!

I dropped my FUNCTIONING motor scooter off at Ace Cycle Repair for electrical upgrades a few weeks ago. I had previously rebuilt the engine and added many upgraded parts and just wanted the electrical to be as nice as the mechanical side of the scooter. I was given a physical quote on a paper for $200 by the owner and told that if the total would exceed that I would be notified and asked for permission to continue the work. A few days later I dropped off some extra parts and $100 cash that the owner requested as "seed money". I received a call from the owner informing me the project was completed a few days later but REFUSED to provide me the total over the phone telling me I had to come in to get the total. The next day I showed up to find my scooter's electrical harness in worse condition then when I dropped it off, removing all the insulation and the ignition system replacing the key with a switch that would allow ANYONE to turn on my scooter and take it without the need of a key. The owner then informed me that it will be $800 and that I could not have my scooter back until I gave him the full amount even if it required payments monthly (only having MY property back after fully paying this ludicrous amount). My representation told me to file a report with the police (which had no effect). The owner then removed ALL of the electrical harness and all of the parts that I PURCHASED and have receipts of, claiming that he purchased them. Currently they are claiming I need to drop off another $100 to gain possession of MY PROPERTY stating that they did engine work (I had a mechanic check compression and engine functionality before dropping it off) even though the reason it was dropped off was strictly for ELECTRICAL WORK. Today I received a message from the owners wife claiming that I now owe them storage fees as I have no way to retrieve my scooter while it can't function as I wont be able to drive it home. Stay FAR away from Ace Cycle Repair as they are scam artists. I now have to reclaim my losses in court.

Philly people this is the place for all your needs from bike to scooter 4wheeler an all repair especially kids bikes she has it all beautiful people Ober 2 yes I knowing them i appreciate them very respectful an I got 2 bikes from them well one scooter an one trick hopefully see them algain on 2023 we are the philly customer

Best and most convenient place to get a new tube installed or tire rather it be motorcycle dirt bike or scooter. Staff is down to earth and more than willing to help.

Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and is the chief cook and bottle washer (okay, Salesman and mechanic). I guess his wife handles the books. Nice mom and pop place. I went looking at scooters and appreciated their selection and advice. If you need service or you're in the market for scooter, atv, motorcycle, moped or even an electric bicycle..be sure to stop in!

Just called to see if I could have my motorcycle dropped off to have some work done. Just a return and throttle cable nothing to fancy. I was responded with a yeah that s no problem. Than asked if I could drop it off in a hour. Was responded with a No. I don t have room for it. I m booked for the next month I said alrighty and ended the call. Review is not based off their work as much as their customer service. I understand if you guys are full of bikes or can t fit people in but damn you didn t even try to work out a date or anything with me. The equivalent of a f-off I m busy. Maybe the guy was having a bad day idk all I can say is I wasn t impressed with my minute long phone call.

Everytime I have my Yamaha V-Max 1200 serviced here I am simply amazed at the performance I re-gain. Awesome job always on a not so easy motorcycle. I've been going there for 3 years or so now and you get what you pay for and here you get top quality! I wouldn't even consider another place working on my bike!!

Have bought bikes and 4 wheelers from them for years. My sons 1st dirtbike on his 4 th birthday was purchased from John! Needless to say he s graduating this year! Now we re getting our grandsons into the sport! We would not have been able to upkeep our toys without ace cycle! Thanx guys .for everything!

Very thorough and fixed my son's 4wheeler so it was safe. Explained everything to me in detail and showed me how to make sure his 4wheeler is safe. I will be back to him for any of our ATV's issues.

After many years of passing by this husband and wife owned shop, I finally stopped, inquiring about motorcycles for sale. They're primarily a scooter retailer but you'll never know what's on sale. Last visit, there's an electric bicycle, with a rear hub motor. There's also plenty of non 2 wheeled vehicles available. There's 3 wheeled Icebear scooters, and quads. Be sure to check out the mini Jeeps. They have a 3 speed transmission with reverse. Perfect for parades. Have you ever seen a wind trike? He's got 1he still rides. This family isn't just mechanics, the sport is in their blood. They've got a history riding all types of vehicles and even racing them. So they know their way around machines.As for repairs and maintenance, if it's a member of the recreation family, he could probably fix it. If not, they'll let you know quickly. Communication is great. Keeps you up-to date on the status of your ride. Prices are reasonable. Work is top notch and he takes pride in his work.During my first visit, and we all talked about what I'm looking for and for my abilities. I haven't been on a motorcycle in 16 years. He asked me if I'd be interested in a "basket case" bike they'd bought and was putting back together. Up front, they told me it wasn't pretty but was in good shape. The bike was literally in boxes. They would not sell the bike unless all the required safety equipment was on it. After 3 weeks I finalized the deal and took "Thumper" aka "Pixie" home.

a great place to get fipped off. what kind of "specialist" orders the wrong tire for a motorcycle and refuses to refund your money. John is a nice guy but his lovely bride is a monster

Excellent service. They offer repair services for all kinds of cycles from mopeds to motorcycles. Trikes to quads at reasonable prices. Staff is also very friendly
