I was having an issue with my breaks we thought it may be the abs system, Our mechanic we usually use retired so we were referred by him to turn of the wrench, we had a awesome experience, we dropped it off at 10:00 Thursday morning car was ready at 4:00 same day, he called few hours later to let us know he couldn t find anything wrong, (which is a good thing) he tested several things, took it for a test drive, he bled the brakes so I think whatever it was it worked itself out, he said if I have any problems let him know, he went into lengthily detail all he checked on my car, price was very reasonable, they take off 5% if you pay cash which we did, we will definitely be back again if we have any problems. He could have told me things that were wrong and they really weren t but he didn t, very honest. Everyone is very nice there.

Sean, you and your team are amazing. I called to asked you for some advice on what might be wrong with my car. That day you asked me to come in and spent the time to explain what you thought was wrong. You didn't have to take all the time to explain what was going on and how to fix the problem! Amazing service!

Just wanted to take a minute to thank the crew at Turn of the Wrench . Had my 2009 Mustang in due to a check engine light . They diagnosed the issue and gave me a detailed explanation of what was going on. Very knowledgeable and professional. Would highly recommend this shop for auto service and repair. Real nice people to speak with.

We have been getting all of our vehicles serviced and repaired at Turn of the Wrench for several years. It s great to have a local automotive shop that you can trust to get the job done correctly the first time without exorbitant dealer costs.Turn of the Wrench has knowledgeable technicians and all the current tools to repair and maintain nearly any vehicle on the road.The front office staff is very friendly, professional, and will keep you informed on the progress of your service.They will give you a prioritized list of anything that may need attention at that time or in the future. Excellent service and best priced around! They let me drop my car off early and pick it up late when I was unable to coordinate my ride due to health issues. Replaced my brake pads and rotors, and let me know what else was needed but were not pushy about getting it done, unlike every other auto repair.Olivia and Sean are the best! Highly recommend Turn of the Wrench.

Picked up a screw in my work truck from new construction site. They repaired my tire and me in and out in 20 minutes! These guys saved the day and were awesome!

My wife uses this business and harassed me about them for years about spending too much money at the dealership for my Mazda 6. She had been singing their praises from day one and I just wasn't buying it. Until one day the dealership caused an issue that almost cost me $1600.00 dollars. I made a phone call to them and they were extremely professional right on time with everything I needed. I told them that if they treated me right they've got a customer for life and they treated me right! Got recommended to this place after posting on nextdoor about my terrible experience at Mr. Tire. Great service and really appreciative of their help finding the problems and giving advice without trying to force anything on me. Even personally showing me what was wrong so I wasn't worried they were making things up as some places do. Only problem is the fact I didn't want a headlight replacement (I had a replacement I planned to do at home), and they did it anyway and still charged me for it. Granted it really seemed to be miscommunication and an accident. But it was still upsetting the choice was taken from me, and I had to pay for something I didn't want. Did get discounted on the charge, but not sure if I'll return to the location.

Sean and his Staff at Turn of the Wrench have been servicing my entire fleet of vehicles (work & personal) for over 12 years now. I can't say that I recall a single complaint. The service is quality, the pricing is fair, and the scheduling is accurate! The only regret I have is that I haven't posted a review sooner!! I very highly recommend this business. I was stranded about 100 miles from home due to a bad alternator. Even though they were full for the day, they worked me in and the price for repair was very fair. Everywhere else gave me a 2-3 day estimate. The tow truck apparently made a huge error in how they brought my AWD truck and the owner offered me documentation in case the tow caused further issues later. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and customer focused.

I had my 93 MR2 engine blow on me and had it towed to Turn of a Wrench. I chose them because I saw them working on an MR2 years ago and figured they would know what they're getting into as MR2s are a unique car to work on. They did an entire engine swap with a used engine I provided them with. Upon completing the work, I am thoroughly pleased with the car. I have been driving it for a few months now and it runs perfectly and feels great to drive. From replacing belts and additional components, I was pleased to hear that Shawn wasn't satisfied with anything less than having it drive like it was new. I would definitely go back for any work I may need done in the future.Service: Engine repair

First time using Turn of the Wrench. My AC was not working properly. They gave me an estimate of about $400 over the phone. They had to replace a part, and run a dye test. Amount came to $397.Very Happy with their service, and I will definitely use them again!!Service: Air conditioning

First trip to Turn of the wrench was a semi emergency. My father had passed and had several fuel cans in his garage. One new one was almost full and our Realtor asked if he could have it. We began putting the contents into my tank that took about 3 gallons then the other 3 were going into his car. I spilled a little and found out it was not gas . Got in touch with Sean at turn of the wrench who s business was within a few miles. Had it towed there and the trust began. I got charged much less then I felt I should have been for such a stupid mistake. Since then I have been bringing my Silverado the Sean for any and all my needs. I m a guy that never let anyone change my oil or brakes, because I only trust myself. Now Turn of the wrench is and will be my trusted, no worries mechanic shop. Try them and you WILL be feeling the same. Doug S

The team at Turn of the Wrench have worked on my personal vehicle as well as my light duty truck that I use to tow crab boats, haul plants, Christmas trees etc... It's hard to find an automotive repair company that you can trust, that's reasonably priced, timely, very knowledgeable, and honest. These guys are all of that and more ! Highly recommend.

Sean was able to get the work done on my truck for half the price that the dealer quoted! And everything was done within a day. These guys are hardworking, last time I picked up my truck at 10:30 and three people were still there working.

My car ended up in a ditch before work and needed it looked at ASAP that day. Called Turn of the Wrench, said they were booked for today, but asked me to hold for a second and they squeezed me in around 1pm. Car was completely diagnosed and fixed by 5pm. Friendly staff, reasonable pricing, overall good experience amidst a stressful day. Will return for any repairs in the future.

Took our truck for a service light issue, very professional and extremely knowledgeable! Kept us informed us the whole time, the office staff was friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Will continue to bring our vehicles to Turn of the Wrench!

If there were 10 stars, that's what they would get. I had a nail in my tire. I took it to another tire place in Middletown and was told it would be 2-3 hours. Long story short by the next day at noon I picked the car up. I called Turn of the Wrench, was told to bring it in and within 10 minutes the tire was fixed and I was on my way. One of the girls that works there even offered to start my car and turn the A/C on. THE best service if you're looking for an honest auto repair company, Turn of the Wrench is your place.

Lets see, Great service, excellent work, Fast, reliable. Answers the phone. I bring all of my cars to Turn of the wrench. Sean has done the general maintenance of Oil Changes to replacing my tires. Which in on case I had the wrong tires on one of my cars, he identified the problem and was actually able to save me money. In addition, I have had some major work done and he did a great job.

Can t say enough good things about this shop. Coming home from the holidays, Saturday after Christmas, I was driving my wife and two young daughters from New England to Virginia when car began shudder and lose power. Pulled into Turn of the Wrench as it was the first shop to come up on our GPS. It was noon when we pulled in and they were busy but they got us in and EVEN STAYED PAST CLOSING TIME in order to get us back on the road. They gave us pizza while we waited and ended up charging us less than they d originally estimated. Sean was awesome and so was his whole team. Seemed like they sincerely cared / wanted to help and also that they know how to truly diagnose a car problem both of which seem to be rare commodities these days. They even called us in Virginia after we d gotten back, just to make sure we d made it home. Special. If I could give 10 stars I would.

These guys are my families go-to automotive mechanic in Middletown, DE.They have great rates, great availability, and do a fantastic job.So far we've used them for oil changes, tire installs, OEM fog light installs, and everything has come back perfectly.Highly recommend these guys to anyone in the market for a general automotive mechanic.

Recently brought my SUV in for some front suspension service and was quoted a price. As the technician was working on the vehicle, a few other worn parts were observed. Dennis did not want to charge me for the additional parts and work since the quote was already established. I felt this was not their fault and agreed to pay for the additional parts. Turn of the Wrench agreed to install the additional parts at no cost to me. I will definitely be back for future service!
