I took them a push mower because wouldn't start. It was an older mower but I am sure it was repairable. I was charged more than what it was worth and when I got home it still wouldn't start. When I called, I was told that it was an old mower so I should of expected it. He didn't start it when I picked it up. I should of know there was a problem. I took it to a friend and he figured out in a minute that it was a safety switch. I learned my lesson. I would never send anyone to F and D. If a piece of equipment is not worth fixing, let the customer know before you do major work on itDave Rodenheiser

Very pleased with the service, the price and the speed of the repair! Our lawn mower decided to go on the fritz at the end of the season. We called our regular guy who is now retired and he referred us to F and D. We couldn't be happier as Dave fixed our mower the very same day. Very personable and friendly owners. Works great and the repair was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be using this service in the future and recommend you do the same. Thank you!

Dave was fantastic and two weeks faster than other places I called. I dropped something off Thursday and picked up on Thursday of the following week. He was clear in what needed to be fixed and fixed it. He also gave me pointers on how to better maintain my equipment. Price was decent and fair for the work done.

Fast and expert repair! Dave picked up my Scag Wildcat on Thursday morning. He replaced the coil packs and returned the mower Tuesday afternoon. The mower is running better than ever.

I started doing business with Dave & Frank about a year ago and I recommend them highly for your small engine repair and maintenance needs. It's difficult to find folks in the repair business who are honest, reasonably priced, and perform the necessary repairs in such a timely manner and do not try to push extra unnecessary costs on you. You can breath easier with your machine in their hands. Although they're not a location that sells new mowers, they do sell weedwhakers and chain saws, even batteries for your electric start mower.

Very disappointed. Took my Atv here for service explained my concerns and what I wanted to have done. (Atv was hard starting when cold (asked to have valves checked for adustment) and wanted the card cleaned) I picked up the Atv started up and seemed ok. I got the bike home where I was able to really test it and found the he fixed one thing (hard starting) but caused another (no power after half throttle). Then bike wouldn't start at all. So I called the shop explained my problem took it back. Suggested maybe the petcock (fuel valve) was damaged and recommened replacing with a certain type and to just check it all back over make sure all was operating fine. Called me told me it was done again only charged for the new petcock. Got it home and the same problem is still there. You can't diagnose and fix a concern if you aren't test driving the machine. Being a 15+ year ASE Tech and having wrenched on my own bikes my whole life I did what I should have done in the first place bit I just didn't have the time ripped it all apart myself. Found that the was still a good amount Sediment still in the carb after taking it apart. Found that the collar the main jet need rides in was missing, causing the slide to get stuck and the needle to jam at wide open throttle. The Diaphragm that was so called replaced must have been some cheap or used one. It was so flimsy that it wasn't pulling proper vacuum. The was also a spacer missing off the needle for the slide. Also found that the float was 3mm out of adjustment which doesn't seem like much but in a carb it is alot. The petcock that was installed was way smaller for the bike needs. So after ordering around $100 of carb parts that should have been replaced and replacing the petcock with one of the correct size and reassembling the carb. Installed in the bike fired up and now it has power throughout all the ranges. This place might be good for lawn mowers and power equipment but powersport is a no go.

I was told by two companies for two weeks that they were coming to get my lawn tractor for repair. No call no show. I called F&D on a Thursday and Monday morning I was dropping off my lawn tractor and Tuesday afternoon my phone rings for pickup. Thank you for being a business with solid business ethics in an industry full of clowns.

Hello. I'm not a huge review person but after a 6 star treatment I figures I had to do so. I had dropped off my 1998 CR 250 for a complete rebuild.I'm also writing this review after 3.5 days of hard riding in the P.A mountains. The bike preformed amazing.F&D changed everything on this bike. I'll try to list them all.New top end.New lectron racing carburetor.Every bearing replaced.New exhaust. (Header pipe on back order from FMF)New gas tank.New plastics & graphics.New tires and tunes.New handle bars.New bark busters.New chain and sprokets.New rotors and pads.New shifter.I know I'm forgetting stuff but as you can see they went above and beyond to meet and beat my expectations of this bike. This dirtbike is very sentimental to me as my father has owned it since new and it was passed down to me. I plan to pass it on to my child one day also.

These guys rock, not only are they honest and trustworthy. They were here for me when my zero turn broke down They have no idea what that means to me. I work everyday, they came out to me. Life should be so convenient. Thank you guys. You'll always get a thumbs up from me
