I went into the shop which is very easily accessible Rt 1 Northbound. Matthew was awesome in recommending a replacement seat for my friends bicycle who was down on vacation. Walmarts price was higher when we checked cause we didn t think the item would be that reasonably priced. He provided excellent customer service from the time we walked in. Matthew was professional, knowledgeable and competent in recommending the replacement item. Even his co-worker checked the back, for him to see if the special size we needed, was in stock. My friend was back on the road by lunchtime and was so excited to be able to ride by Gordon s Pond. Thanks Schaffer s!! We will be back soon.

I took a new bike that I assembled myself here for a safety check. The service was excellent and at a fair price. They took the time to explain everything they did to the bike as well. Very knowledgeable. Highly recommend for any tune up/safety check needs.

I m in disbelief at how kind, courteous, and efficient Shaffer s is. I woke up to a flat tire on Labor Day. With work the next day, I desperately called around. Everywhere was closed, with infinitely ringing phones or, those that did answer, were booked until the weekend. I called Shaffer s and the man asked me how soon I could bring it in. 10 minutes later he was looking at my tire. And in another 10 minutes we were on the road. For the timeliness of the repair like that on a holiday like Labor Day he could ve charged me so much money. But he charged me such a reasonable, affordable price I was in even more disbelief. I thanked him profusely. Tipped even more. As a young woman, often mistaken as a teenager, it would ve been so easy to take advantage of the situation. I am in awe at this experience. I cannot recommend Shaffer s more highly. Getting a flat tire and needing a repair is never a good experience. But working with Shaffer s honestly turned it all around.

Thank you!!! We were stuck for a tire repair and short on time and the guy here not only mounted and balanced the tire right away, they even stayed a few minutes after closing to do so. I have nothing but good to say! The price was great , too!!! Highly recommended and will absolutely return!

Great prices on bike repair, honest work, could have told me to replace my chain, but the tech said I could get some more miles on the old one. You do need to call them to check up on your bike repair, but for the cost savings and honest work, well worth it.

Excellent service! Pulled up 5 minutes after opening on a Saturday with a screw in my tire and I was in and out within 10 minutes. Highly recommend Shaffer s Service.

I needed four new tires for my Buick Encore- ordered them here with Matt. When I brought my car in to have them installed, they told me - you really don't need new tires yet - you have at least another 15K on your old tires. They then offered to store the new tires until I was ready! I decided to have them installed since I do long distance trips. They were quick and did not try to up sell me anything. I had to return because one tire was leaking air and they replaced the valve stem core immediately n/c. I would highly recommend Shaffer's for your tire needs and look forward to coming back to get a bike tuneup in the spring. They are no frills and very honest.

As a local I ve used Shaffer s before many times and always receive the same service, friendly and efficient. Plus cost efficient! I recently had a blowout and needed a tire so of course I went to Shaffer s.After a couple of days, it seemed the tire was not running very smooth, thinking it had something to do with pressure or tread I stopped back in, they adjusted it and sent me on my way in no time at all. Car is running great! Thanks guys!!

I had 3 people ahead of me and I was only there for 10 minutes. Very nice folks who make sure you get in and get out. Highly recommend the place if you need tire repair.

My over-80 mother and I went to make sure she was comfortable on the bike we wanted to purchase. We could not have had a better experience! The staff was so nice, and spent time adjusting the seat so my mom was comfortable with the bike. What a great place to shop!

Flat tire emergency, taken care of promptly. Friendly people; seems to be a family business. Price was good.That being said, this was terribly unorganized, barely functional, a cluttered mess of tires and auto parts (ok, maybe a little expected), but opened cans of ravioli and take out boxes all over the "office". There isn't a functional garage to pull your car in to, so he changed my tire right where I pulled up in front of building.Oh, and there's a separate building for selling and working on bicycles.... and that is where you must go to pay, because no payments are taken down the hill.Again, tire changed when I needed it for a good price, and done quickly once they communicated with each other. Wish I could give them a 5, but the clutter and unprofessionalism doesn't allow it. I would give 3-1/2 stars.

Went to Mr Tire to fix my tire, they offered me to change it for 100+ $, saying that they cant fix my tire due to blah blah bla.. this guys took a look at it and fixed it under 15 min and for very good price, but recommended to change it soon. Guess where u think I ll get my new tire now? It really doesn t worth waiting for an hour at mr tire where this guys provide fast, quality and inexpensive service! Good job guys

Great service and very friendly. Came in with a nail in my tire and I was out in under 5 minutes. The gentleman also offered me a taste of his delicious home-cooked southern meal and sent me off with a watermelon to share with my kids! Thanks!

This is the bike shop for your every need. My husband and I drove 3 hours and came home the proud owner of an adult 3 wheeled bike that they custom fit him for. The bike was checked and rechecked to make sure everything was assembled and working properly. We couldn't be more pleased with Cindy and Matt and highly recommend you go to them for your biking needs.

If you need cheap but good used tires. This is the place to go near the beach. It is a very unassuming building and not easy to notice from the highway. Just look for the old VW bug on the side of the highway. And while you are waiting for your tires check out the inside of the old bug and find the button for the machine gun on the dash!

We paid $62 to have our bike repaired including replacing the tubes in the tires. Within two weeks the tire went flat when we tired to ask this shop to stand by their work and fix it They said they were too busy to help us

Came in prepared to buy a new tire for my vehicle, but they found and quickly fixed a leak. They stayed open late to fit me in. Good pricing, great service.

I'm from New Jersey visiting down for a bachelorette party when I hit something and got a flat tire! I was freaking out bc I drove down in a rental, but they help me so quickly fixed my flat in no time! I'm forever thankful! Thanks guys!

Patched a nail puncture in 5 minutes with no BS, after MrTire turned me away because they were too busy. Friendly, expert service at a very fair price. No frills....if you want frills, go elsewhere

Sign says open 10am to 6pm Mon.-Sat. Dont count it! Call before wasting a trip there bc they open whenever they feel like it, not at 10:30 am on Monday for sure.
