Come here often for oil changes. This past week I went for a sound that my car was making when turning. The guys at the desk were really friendly and ended up calling and telling me that while they could fix the sound, that it wasn't necessary for safety or car longevity. They gave me an honest, money-saving opinion, and I ended up not being charged at all. I really respect the honesty and trustworthiness-- especially as a woman bringing her car to the shop. Thanks for a great experience, Meineke team!

Amazing how unprofessional these people are. They grossly overcharge customers, especially the elderly. My parents had new tires and an oil change done. The tires have date codes and it shows they re already 2 years old!! A month after the oil change and the light comes on the dash showing low oil. They obviously didn t use the correct amount and cut corners. WTH?! The owner claims to be for veterans yet he rips them off. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My family and I always take our cars to Meineke. They are friendly, and very helpful with all of our car needs. Also, no hassle trying to schedule an appointment. I definitely recommend!

I needed a tired fixed and Meineke was on the way. Since it was close to closing for other shops I decided to check with them. They said they could fix it and were honest about how long it would take. I left the tire, and long story short they fixed it so I could pick it up before closing. Very professional and looks like they did a good job. I will definitely keep them on the top of my list for future repairs.

I drove into Meineke with a flat tire. Casey was extremely helpful with not only finding a tire for my car but had someone go pick it up in Newark so that I would not have to wait till the end of February to get the tire. Casey and the manager had someone drive me home and pick me up the next day when the job was done.I m extremely thankful to them !! They made this process easy and less stressful.

If you have an older car and you know it is not in perfect shape I would refuse their 21 point inspection. I only went there to have my wheels balanced and they did a great job at that. This is something their digital balancer can do better than I can do myself. And an oil change since I was driving far in a few days. they broke the ring off my dipstick and tried to say it was like that and they didn't break it. The car burns oil and leaks a little so I pull that dipstick often to make sure it's ok and it was never broken. I am just careful when I take it out and I am sure the guy that broke it just wasn't careful. Besides that when I left and drove it I noticed my struts were rattling around. I already knew my struts were bad but they never rattled until I gave it to meineke. See when they do these inspections that are grabbing various rods and struts and vigorously shake them to see if ball joints and bearings and stuff have any play. So of course that can make something that is bad even worse. Like my struts. I really didn't want to replace my front struts because it drove just fine and I am not planning on keeping the car for another year. But I kinda feel I have to now. So the lesson I learned is that if I ever want to bring my older cars to them I will decline their 21 point inspection because I do not want anyone yanking on my ballpoints and struts like they are hoping they are bad so they can get more work. If any of that stuff failed I would fix it myself anyway.Picture is of the broken dipstick. If it was broken why is it a clean break still and the ring was not lost. It is flush with the top of the tube, the ring would of just fell off and been lost.

Jan 2024, dramatic changes, all new support staff who are friendly, but not seasoned enough to fill the shoes of predecessors, and don t know the regulars . For example, taking the time to search all coupons & discounts to ensure the customers get the least expensive cost (especially seniors). Mechanics are good, but very busy, so the service support staff are vital. Suggestions to Owners:- Improve your website. Customers should be able to check pricing for all routine maintenance items conveniently online (oil change, alignments, etc) without having to make a call & wait for a rep to confirm prices, who don t always get it right.- Change your phone recording. The 2 options given do not cover a customer who wants to know the costs BEFORE setting appts (especially since customers cannot see any prices online).- If Oil Changes include a 23-Point Inspection, then customers should be able to see a list of those 23 points (and be given a copy of it also when paying the bill). What are those 23 Points that get inspected when we get an Oil & Filter Change? We d like to have a record of that with our receipts.- Make sure the full terms of all Coupons are stated right there with the Coupons online and also on your Mailers. Customers should never have to go searching elsewhere for the terms that apply to coupons or specials being offered.Thanks.

Always there for their customers and doing the right thing by them!Example - Recently had possibly a torque converter/transmission issue going on w/ a vehicle we have had since new for almost 15 years. Not 100% certain of diagnosis/issue and suggested a 2nd opinion. Not many shops that I know which would do that.They are the best at what they do!

First time visiting this location for service. Scheduled an appointment for an oil change and was promptly greeted upon entering. Service was quick and the lobby was comfortable with complementary refreshments. Good deal and even better customer service - Will definitely be returning for regular maintenance trips.

Not happy today because last Thursday when I had four new tires installed no one noticed the note that said one of the tires was defective and would be replaced. I saw it when I read the invoice texted to meThat was okay but when I called the next morning the woman who answered the phone couldn t find what I was talking about. Said she would call me back. Never called me so I drove 25 minutes up Route 1 to confirm that there would be a new tire.Today I brought car in for a 2:30 appointment, and at 3:00 had to ask what was happening with my car. It was finally taken in @3:05. Waiting to see how long this will take, but not happy with todays seevice

I have been so pleased with Meineke for years. They are keeping my 2015 Nissan Rogue with 134,000 miles on the road. They are honest and come up with a plan of action for work that needs to be done!! They are way better then most dealer service departments. My 2010 Honda has a key fob that breaks easily. It's a very poor design, I've broken it many times and glued it back together. Took my car in for oil change and the service tech snapped the key right off the fob! Not really their fault cause it was broken already but they replaced it within 2 days and charged me nothing. Very obliging.

Scheduling an appointment was so easy - there were plenty of available dates/times. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wait time for an oil change was much shorter than going to the dealership. I will definitely be going back!

Came in for my first non-dealer service on my Ranger. Knowledgable and friendly staff. Had them change oil and rotate tires. They follow make/model factory specs and schedule for oil change at a reasonable price.

Used the Lewes shop. Amazing people from the minute you step in the door. Hard to be positive about car repairs but these employees seem to make it easy. They managed to repair my old truck against all odds and despite the fact it couldn t have been nice to work on. The cost was at the lower end of what I googled so was pleasantly surprised. It did cost a bit more in the end because of added issues but they went out of the way to keep the bottom line reasonable. Final thought personable, pleasant employees who do good honest work at reasonable costs. I ve used them repeatedly and have never been less than completely satisfied.

Outstanding customer service. We are visiting from NC and our battery decided to die. The local dealer said maybe next week . The Meineke staff said Come in now. We will get the part while you re on the way. They had the battery (and the auxiliary battery) replaced (and an oil change!) done in a couple of hours. I have never experienced better or faster service on my car, anywhere.

I was a bit taken back when I had an appointment & still had to wait another hour and a half. Your Tech Mr. Jones was excellent. Very cooperative when I asked to view my car on the lift and pointed out to me what needed repair with and without urgency.

Clean waiting room with very knowledgeable and professional staff. I had an Oil Change on my truck and Being a military veteran they gave me the best service were along with a pleasant discount!!! My appointment was for 12:00 for an oil change. Several people have come and gone AFTER my appointment time and my car has JUST been taken back. It s 1:30pm. No explanation, no apologies. This is the SECOND time this has happened. My initial review was 5 stars because of the customer service. The new staff apparently don t care. This will be my last time as a customer. CJ s Beach Bays may be more expensive, but they don t overbook their time, and they re actually concerned about quality customer service.Services: Wheel alignment, Oil change

Over the past several years I have been more than happy with my maintenance at the Meineke in Lewes, De and I might have left five stars. Yesterday was not up to the usual level. Usually there are two high energy folks behind the counter when you arrive and things start with a bang. Also I pulled my car onto the highway right out the drive and noticed my maintenance requires lights were still on (after an oil change). And then today I went to use my GPS and suddenly I am getting measurements is KL not miles. ?? Don t know how that happene.

Except for the bill I had to pay to keep my 25 y/o Toyota running, Meineke service was terrific as usual there. Angie arranged for me to have a ride home, which was so helpful, and the driver was very nice. I just love those guys and gals!

**WARNING. THEY DONT TELL YOU ABOUT THE $30 ADDITIONAL LABOR FEE WHEN THEY QUOTE OIL CHANGE PRICES**Easy to make an appointment online, which is helpful when you are super busy. What was also helpful was that they were running on time. Always a huge plus.Unfortunately I cannot give five stars because they were dishonest with me when I called about costs. Because I can go to the Toyota dealership and get this for free I had to weigh my options if I wanted to drive the extra 10 minutes to get a free oil change and tire rotation versus paying at Meineke which is close by.Essentially I called to ask for the cost and she broke it down by telling me that I would be paying for full synthetic plus an extra quart of oil. She said it would be about $75 plus the extra quart. What she didn't mention was that they charge a $30 labor fee on top of that. I found out only after when she handed me the invoice.Look, it's only $30 and I'm sure that's a fair market price to charge. But what bothers me is that they did not disclose this when I called and specifically asked how much it would cost.Also, not super happy with the attitude from our of the two girls at the desk. She basically tried to talk around and around and avoided my specific question about the $30 labor fee. She basically tried to tell me that it was the extra cost of the oil. Which it was not. The cost of the extra oil is a separate line item for $7. She was clearly frustrated woth my question and didn't want to acknowledge that I was asking specifically about this extra fee.Regardless I still recommend this location just not super happy with how they handle the situation when I called + the unnecessary attitude.Although I told them to charge me the full invoice of $94 and said to use this as a feedback opportunity, they ended up removing the $30 labor fee. The right thing to do.Thanks Meineke for your good work. Let's just use this as a learning opportunity so that you can more accurately provide costs to your clients when they ask.Happy holidays.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Had 10AM appointment for an oil change and was told that it would take an hour and a half. Tried to call several times and finally got through at 5PM. Waited on hold for 20 minutes each time. They comped the oil change, which was redemptive, but I expect if I have an appointment for an oil change that I should be able to stay and have my vehicle in short order.

I was very pleased with my overall experience. I had an unexpected issue with my bettle that was handled extremely well and exceeded my expectations. I like the pleasant friendly way all the folks take such good care of my bug and I highly recommend them without hesitation. Couldn't be more pleased.

I m from out of state and part of my muffler came apart right when I arrived here. Not only did they look at the car, they were able to repair the next morning! They knew I was only here for a few days. They were kind and very accommodating!! 5 stars for sure!!

Long wait to pay. Lady wasn't really sure what she was doing. Waited almost 20 minutes to add a $10 lug nut, which, should I really have paid for. I was there for an oil change. Didn't ask for them to take any wheels off. Tech could have damaged using an air tool to zip off too quickly.

My car starting making a grinding noise commuting back from Maryland. New to the community, my neighbor gave me a recommendation to use Meineke Car Care Center and ask for Mike . They got me in quickly and repaired my car same day! Friendly staff and very helpful staff. I recommend Them and would ask for Mike if you are needing service. Our appointment for an oil change was for 2:00 and our car wasn't ready until 3:54! Our car didn't move from the place we parked when we arrived for well over an hour. We only got results after we approached the service desk to inquire about the status.
