I ended up buying my car around winter never thought to check the air conditioning now they say it's not covered but it's a motor component or what. The mechanics in the back said oh the tire is bad when I asked about a noise just after purchase they wouldn't even replace a tire after I paid 15k for the vehicle. Not a business they just want your money and get u out

Adam is amazing! The finance and management team is amazing and top notch too! They will work with you regardless of your situation or credit to get you into a vehicle. After going to over 30 dealerships they were the only ones willing to work with me and get me approved. And did a fantastic job and great customer service too! You won't be disappointed!

Haven t been here in 6 years, but never left the review this company deserves. Since I m once again car shopping, I figured it was only fair. General manager was rude, dressed sloppy and unprofessional. Test drove my trade in and was scared for his life . Maybe this is because he could be seen excessively speeding (30+ over limit on the highway) and took a fast car for a joy ride.The actual sales woman was nice, however my credit was ran for cars I had no interest in since they could not get me in the vehicle of my choice.Again this was 6 years ago, but left enough of an impression for me not to bother looking their direction now that I m in the market for a car once more.

I do not know why others have left negative reviews. We have horrible credit and not a dime for the down payment. Took in our w2s they did our taxes and will be taking back a portion of our tax money as a down payment and we are still going to get some of our tax money back. We were able to take the vehicle home. They really do work with you if you have bad credit. The first car we bought since moving to Delaware and will definitely be going back if need be. Great customer service and they are also great with kids.

I went to get a SUV that I saw online. The whole staff was courteous. Bill Woods was my salesman. My whole experience with him from the test drive to the sale and even trading in my old SUV was smooth and pleasant . The general manager gave me a great deal. I would recommend this car dealership to anyone shopping for a car, even if you don't have the best credit.

My Daughter called the Car store about looking at her car she got from them. She has went and had it hooked up to a machine for codes. She wanted to take it in and told them she had the code stuff, lady told her they had to do Diagnostic for themselves. She had to have it taken over there because it wouldn't start, the day they got it they called her told her a new starter and i guess labor $520.00 but couldn't do anything until they took it out for a drive. Today she called them and was told she would have to take it to a dealership because all the dashboard lights were on and they don't have to machine to do the Diagnostic after the woman told her they could. They knew the make, model and year of it when she first called them. If they didn't have the equipment to do the Diagnostic why tell her to bring it over? Now she owes them and has to take it somewhere else. This is a single mother of 4. Very bad business and rude people. never again

I don't ever leave reviews but this calls for a special one. The car store in Laurel DE is an amazing and fantastic place to get a car. I went in not expecting to have good service or find a good deal after reading the reviews but, Sandy and the team are amazing people and will work to help you as much as they can. They really are good people and are there to help you. If you are looking for a car and are in the area stop by and give them a try and ask for Sandy.Update. My cars AC system went out and was diagnosed as a faulty compressor and because it was under warranty they decided to replace it and the entire system in the car just in case of contamination. Best part is that they had it done within a day and 2 days to get the parts in. The team here are full of amazing people.

Went in on Saturday to look at car. Salesman Robert was helpful and knodgeable.Went back on Monday to talk price. Financial officer Duane was super and helped all the way. Made a very agreeable decision and bargained for car.Went back on Tuesday and bought car.Very happy with the deal. Everyone there was very good and helpful.Good place and good folks.Would definitely go back.Satisfied customer,Carl W.

So an update from the review below: our engine went up and after they towed it to their service location told us they would fix it for us for either 6100 with a 30 day warranty on an engine or we could do 6400 with a 90 day warranty or 7200 with a year warranty and these would be engines from a junkyard. They wouldn't even pay half of the bill. We finally found someone who would do it cheaper and after we told them we were going somewhere else they made us pay $60 for towing the car to their place. Now let me remind you we had just bought this truck from them in January for $16,000 and now we have to put a new engine in it and they wouldn't even help us in anyway! Please stay away from this place!Horrible horrible experience!! Was lied to over and over again by our salesman Jason Griffith. Told us four times there was a warranty when there wasn't. Told us we would get new tires and touch up where car was scratched. Another lie. Told us there was a remote key. Another lie. We finally got our new tires and a remote key after fighting with the manger. Car was taken back twice for ac to get fixed then the car just stalled out and now there is a problem with exhaust. Have had the car for only four months! The worst part was how we were treated. Like we were the liars and misunderstood everything Jason said to us!!unbelievable!! Don't know how they are still in business!! Giving one star because I have to to write review. Oh and when we picked up the car after they supposedly detailed it for us it was disgusting!! Still had old wrappers and spilled dried up soda in it!!

Really awesome experience! Sandy was BEYOND AMAZING! I will be coming back for years to come and highly recommend them. Deal was said and done within three hours which is unheard of!! They got me out of a super bad place in a vehicle which was totally unsafe to drive to a new safe suv that I love!

Bought a 2013 Expedition Limited from this place.I ve never bought from a non franchise dealer but I couldn t find what I wanted in my price range anywhere. The vehicles I did look at were all abused.I live about 2 hour away fro this place and it was worth the drive. My salesman Mike, did everything he could to take care of the little issues and to make things right. Everyone I felt with was personalable and there was never any pressure to buy.The price was right, the vehicle was right and the truck was right. Thanks Mike and your team.What a pleasure you deal with you.One thing about Mike. You see he has no hair!When a man is bald in front he is a thinker. When a man is bald in the back he is sexy. Spent a lot of time researching going to other dealerships looking for the car that I wanted. Got a whole lot of running around and no good customer service. Should have saved myself the time and Hassle and went to the car store first. Stopped in yesterday saw my buddy Joe, he showed me the car that I wanted. then spent the next two days putting in all the leg work and due diligence to make sure that I got what I wanted at an affordable price. Treated me like family. this is my second buy from Joe and I will continue to go back for all of my car needs. Thank you to The Car Store family and and Joe for all of your hard work.

My husband and I purchased a 2009 Ford Flex two days ago. They told us that the next day they were taking it to get inspected and detailed. At 4:30 pm my husband had to call and check to see if we could pick the car up, he was given the run around and finally told him the car failed inspection. They gave us another car to drive in the meantime and we had to call again today to see if we could pick up our car. I was told it had passed inspection, however a detailer was not available. The sales manager said he tried to clean it up the best he could if we wanted to come get it. Haha I think my dog could have done a better job, if he even did touch it. Driving the vehicle home, my husband heard a loud thump. It sounds horrible. The car was driven from their Salisbury store to their Laurel store and there is no way that person didn't hear this noise. We were told to bring it back down and they would fix it again and detail it. Fingers crossed!

I literally just left trying to get a car with not so great credit, willing to do $1,000 down plus a trade in my mother was even willing to co-sign she said good or bad credit I just needed another name. So they ran everything through due to an error with another company they said they weren't able to do it with hers. But they could offer me a Mitsubishi eclipse, I'm 5'8 with a 5 year old I can't fit comfortably in that car. So I declined and asked if something else was available they said no. So as we were leaving the finance manager says "well an eclipse is better than walking or bumming a ride." And proceeds to laugh....... The car was not even on the lot! I refuse to settle for something I DO NOT WANT! Why should I settle for something I don't like nor can I fit in? He's arrogant, rude and does not need to be in that profession if he does not have at least common courtesy and respect for potential customers! I refuse to do any type of business with them! Now an amazing update!!!! I went to Pohanka Nissan in Salisbury, MD to Brandon Hunt with the same thing I offered them he was able to put me in a brand new 2018 Nissan Altima! The car store rep named Ashley called and tried to follow up and I told her I had already gotten a new car and also what the finance guy had said, she said he didn't mean it that way to cause harm and that she hoped nothing went wrong with my new car...... Please don't waste your time with this place !!!

DO NO, and I repeat NOT buy a car from a The Car Store in Laurel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The service was okay, but my overall experience has been terrible and traumatic. I purchased a 2007 Chevy Aveo about a year and a half ago and it just recently started giving me trouble, the key wouldn't come out of the ignition, and it wouldn't let me change gears, so then I took it to the car store and the made the issue worse, telling me that I have a fried fuse box and need a new one on top of ordering a new part for the ignition... Nothing was fixed probably so I wasn't charged for any of their services, then they tried to sale me another car because they said that my car was about to go up... The car they tried to sale me had a transmission issue that my cousin (who is a mechanic) checked out for me when we test drove the car. The car store in Laurel is only interested in making money for themselves, the customer does not come first.

This review is based soley on their secretary Mel. She has a horrible attitude very unpleasant. Make sure you never need to come here for anything because her stinking attitude and nasty personality is uncalled for. Unprofessional and im sure has cost this company many customers hence the 3 star review.

Laurel car store is great. The salisbury store not so much. The staff was really helpful and kind, not pushy. Had a few complications with my bank but they really helped me get the $ where it needed to be and get the deal done. Highly reccomend the car store in laurel DE.

Went to the laurel location. Here's the awful experience .They advertise for garunteed credit approval. That's a joke when they want a co signer. Next they have a vehicle that I liked, priced for 7992.00 plain as day. The so called finance specialist was shady as all hell. He comes back from working "the numbers" tells me he is is now selling the car for 11,900 or something, he needs me to put 5,000 down and my payments would be 402.00 a month. . Then I question it and he says that he needs to make a profit off of it and that CAC needs their money up front. Comes back then tells me he will sell the car for 8,999.00 with 5000.00! I'm sorry 5,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Down on a 7992.00 car Get yourself a new job con artist. I've been dealing with CAC for 10 years now and have never ever had this problem. Funny I go to 2 other car dealerships and CAC doesnt have a single problem getting me into a vehicle with no co signer. Even your Salisbury branch said that wasnt correct. Go try conning someone else buddy. Do not shop here people. Go to Salisbury if you choose the car store. Me however I chose somewhere completely different. This experience just left a horrible taste. Sorry not sorry

Becky, Mel, Ian, & Mike have been super awesome in standing behind my purchase of a Subaru Legacy! I have had all of my troubles fixed with a smile & concern like I'm a family member. I can't say enough great things about all of them. Everyone is very friendly and professional.

I have bought so many cars from them, ALWAYS BUY A WARRANTY with any used car. It's a used car. Every repair needed was done. Ask and you will receive. Dont ask dont complain. Never a problem in 20 years. They have always been honest, helpful, and try their best to get you into a car or truck you can afford

Me and my wife went to both locations and the managers at both stores treated us great and are kids as well and joe the salesman that sold us are new car got us a great deal even tho are credit wasn t good. Overall it was a great experience with them and definitely will be going back.

HORRIBLE!!! I purchased a 2011 Hyundai Sonata on 4/03/18 and only had the car for 45 mins before i had to turn around and take it back. They did give me a loaner car while my sonata was being worked on. A week later they finally told me the car needed a new engine so they wanted to put me into something else...I was told if I didn't find anything I could just terminate my contract. After Jason tried selling me the terrible cars on the lot I told him I was only interested in a Sonata. He told me they had a 2015 Sonata at the Salisbury location that he could try to get me in but he had to try and work some things out. while he tried to work some things out I went to another dealership and was offered the same 2015 Hyundai Sonata with 67000 less miles and $300 less on the down payment. Went back to terminate my contract with the car store and Jason Griffin(sales) blew up on my father and I..he was very disrespectful...and another man came to apologize for his actions who was not the store manager. I did not feel the need to respond to his actions because I already won the battle by choosing not to do business with them. It took them 3hrs to return my trade and i was told it will take me 3-5 business days to receive my down payment back . PLEASEEE AVOID THE CAR STORE!!!!

I bought 2 jeeps from them with in weeks of each other they were not inspected like they should have been I was td make a list so I did and when they were working on list I was still finding things when I told them about it they said ur 30days is up the motors need to be taking apart and all I had them total of maybe 6months I spent over 80,000.00 with them and they wouldn't fix it thats crazy on one jeep didn't even have spare tire tried to get them to get me one and all they did was put a 3rd brake light on it where spare tire belonged I will never go to them ever again worst dealer to deal with they over price there cars way over kelly blue book too watch what u get owner rob didn't want to fix it and buck the sales Manger at time wouldn't do nothing either and mark was just pushing oh did I say I also bought a truck from them at the truck store and brought it to car store in laurel de and so far that's the only one that has no problems now but truck is only 1yr old well I got rid of the 2jeeps before they left me on road I will never tell anyone to go threw them at all

I bought a coud cars from them and when i did neither ones were inspection and i went tbrew finding what was wrong my self and now since 30days is up they dont want to fix it i think this is crazy i will never go there again i went tbere years ago and they where nasty never bought any thing tben this year did well wow what a mistake and when they talked to owner rob he wouldnt fix rest of stuff i am finding took it some where else and had them look over it and still needs 900.00 of work that i am stuck with they buy tbere cars all at auction just so u know

Very nice customer service and they are they only dealership that I know when you buy a warranty they are loyal to it my car has been leaking water through the roof and they fixed it without any complaining or any questions they just said bring it by and we will fix it no problems at all from the new car ! I will be buying my next vehicle here
