I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Georgetown Delaware Motor Vehicle office, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a team of friendly and knowledgeable staff who went above and beyond to assist me.The customer service at this location is truly top-notch. The staff members are not only professional but also incredibly patient and attentive to the needs of each customer. They took the time to answer all my questions and guided me through the entire process with a genuine smile on their faces.One thing that stood out to me was the wonderful ambiance of the facility. The staff's positive attitude and willingness to help create a welcoming atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. The facility itself is well-maintained, and I was particularly impressed by how immaculately clean the bathroom was. It's evident that the management takes pride in providing a comfortable and hygienic environment for their visitors.One of the standout features of this location is the self kiosk for license renewal. This convenience is an absolute game-changer. Instead of waiting in long lines, I was able to use the self kiosk to renew my license quickly and efficiently. This added level of convenience truly sets Georgetown Delaware Motor Vehicle apart from other locations.In conclusion, my visit to Georgetown Delaware Motor Vehicle was truly amazing. The exceptional customer service, wonderful staff, clean facilities, and the convenience of the self kiosk for license renewal make this location an absolute gem. To nit picky took my trike over and 2 gentlemen came out and checked it out and that was cool and they were busy and close to closing on Wednesday evening so they put on my registration about 2 reflectors on the fenders everything else was good, instead of them saying while sat in the line for another 45 minutes don't understand why they just didn't say that because the reflectors wasn't on the fenders you'll have to come back instead of holding others up and myself! Good thing was got a nice relaxing cruise

I took the driving test with Mary Dukes, at station 27 on 3/14/24 and she was a lovely, professional and respectful woman. He treated me with dignity and inspired me with peace. I am really very grateful Mary Dukes. SHE IS THE BEST!!!!

The clerks at the front desk are extremely rude and unhelpful. I had to get back into line after waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes because they don't know how to do their job. Ask them a question and they give you all the wrong answers. Government workers at their finest.

The worst DMV I ve ever been too and I ve moved a lot. The staff is so rude to you. Have all legal paperwork and wants to find every single problem. Made a big mistake moving to this state.

Recently moved to DE from MD. I visited the Georgetown location to get a drivers license, car inspection, tags and title. Everyone I interacted with was fantastic! To be able to complete all the above transactions in less than one hour is extraordinary. All government agencies should work this way. Great experience!

The inspection line was slow but registration renewal was a snap. The lady at the front desk pointed me to the kiosk machines. With help from the state trooper I was out of there in less than 2 minutes . Great service

For a DMV, they work very quickly here. The people are nice and efficient. Remember to bring everything you need, which can be checked out on the website. The facility is clean and comfortable.

Went in to transfer my vehicle registration from MD to DE. Someone named Melissa was brought over to help me. She was not helpful - she was actually rude and simply walked away and left me standing there. Great way to be welcomed to DE.

Customer service and wait times were complete TRASH on a Wednesday night. Sat for an hour and a half, got called and assisted by Alisha. I had to email her paperwork to complete my transaction, I sent it and waited for 2-3 minutes while she typed on the computer. I had to ask her did she receive it, she said no. I verified her email and sent it again, she typed again while I waited and I had to ask yet again if she received it she said no. She said take a seat and I ll call you when I get it. She then assisted someone else, put her coat on, and left! I went to the front desk and asked for help or an explanation as I know it s PACKED and my number won t be called again. The lady at the desk said we are entitled to breaks she probably went on one you ll have to wait until she gets back . COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE for having been there TWO HOURS at this point! I go to another lady in the same area and ask and she said she can t help me. Wow. Finally, I ask Lena for assistance and she gives me her email to send my documents and she has it in less than 5 minutes (I guess my emails to Alisha got lost in cyber space, she didn t really seem too concerned about helping me anyway). Lena went above and beyond to get me squared away! If it wasn t for her I would ve still been there preparing to turn in for the night. Lack of customer service was at an all time high! I asked TWO people before Lena! I ll go to Dover from now on!

Well I arrived at 2:45 and left at 4:30. It took about 3 minutes to get replacement title. It was like standing in line at Disney, only to be let down by the anticlimactic ride. Ugh!

The new scan tool implementation like pa has is dumb and stupid, there's nothing wrong with my car....I'm more mechanically inclined than the people there trying to send me to. Get rid of this system or there is going to be problems. A torched DMV is one of em. Have a good hot day.

This dealership does not follow through on their end. My 2nd temp tag ran out and they said they could not issue another. I said to the woman, I guess I can not drive my vehicle and her response was I guess not. They also can not tell me what I going on and taking so long for my tags on the vehicle I bought 3 months ago. When you call they say they have to check with someone else and call you back, but never do. This is the worst car dealership I have ever purchased from. RUN AWAY.......

My mother needed to get her license and I was translating. We had the older lady on station 23 and she is so rude. She doesn t take time to hear one out or explain anything and just refused to service us because the document we were providing was invalid We come back and try again and sit for another hour and witness her YELLING at other people and coincidentally all were Hispanic and all left without anything.This time we get a Hispanic gentleman and he took the time to help us and we left with a license. She shouldn t be working with people if her attitude is like that.

Nice facility, nice folks. They process hundreds of folks there every day and they do it very efficiently.Better than the DMV's in Texas by a mile.

Two stars because overall it was ok. But the employee there my son and myself had to deal with was rude. And she needs to learn to keep her attitude to herself. There was literally no reason NONE for her to be as nasty as she was. But upon checking out we encountered someone who didn't seem to completely hate the fact they had to deal with people. So two stars for that. But also the attitude wasn't surprising its the Georgetown way apparently.

These people are so rude and nasty. The customer service I got on the phone was horrible. I called them to replace my drivers license. I was on the phone for 30 minutes straight all they did was be nasty , lazy, and disrespectful. When i got disrespectful back they did not like that. They hung up on e multiple times. Hurried me off the hone and everything and did not help me not one bit. Disrespectful will never call or go to that location.

Waited for two hours, the lady helping me clearly just did not want to do it though because it required her to leave her desk and kept trying to just get me to leave with expired tags... Really annoying but at least I got what I came for.

The ladies were amicable, and even thou though we had a rough start with the lady that did our license transfer, she was very kind and helped us coordinate all our papers to get them in the system. I still think there is room for improvement in the customer service area without being rude to us the clients.

Very rarely is there ever a long wait. Things move quickly at the Georgetown DMV unlike any Maryland MVA .Thank you for the quick and pleasant service.

The customer service was awful. I had to wait in line for a while but I understand that will happen. When I finally got to talk to someone she was very rude and racially profiled me. The lady s name is Vicki. She was firstly judging me very harshly when I approached her stand, then made it very apparent she was racially profiling me. I m hoping the next time I go in I will have a better experience.

Very quick and efficient. The staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Was in and out in a matter of an hour. Had to transfer license from another state and the process was easy. Come prepared for your sake and the workers.

I was amazed what little time I spent getting my motorcycle inspected and tags renewed. Other states should adopt the Delaware motor vehicle procedure.
