I am posting this review on behalf of the service department! First off I d like to mention Ben Marvel, Jeff Wood, Brett, and Lou. They ve all went above and beyond with the service provided on my 2019 Ram 1500. I had my front differential replaced entirely, rear end differential rebuilt, and heater core replaced. After having the front differential replaced and had gotten the truck back, i noticed grease being slung from the driver side axle, their team went above and beyond to have a new CV axle ordered and immediately installed (this was due to a manufacturer defect). Some of their negative reviews online worried me! But come to find out they were very misleading reviews, i can assure you, their team is solid and knows what they re doing. Getting my truck in and out with this much amount of work in a timely manner - and having no issues at all after! I moved to Delaware from Philadelphia just about 2 months ago, and these guys will forever have my business. Very knowledgeable team - hard working! Couldn t ask for much more. I thank you all for your hard work and effort! If there is anything else that i ask from this dealership is that you acknowledge this review and their hard work! I appreciate you all!

If you want an amazing car buying experience, Preston is definitely your go to place! Issiah and Elvis were welcoming, knowledgeable and definitely not pushy salespeople. We definitely did not feel pressured, they answered all our questions and they did everything they could to work within our budget. I don t usually make an on the spot decision, especially with a huge purchase such as this, but I felt confident that I was getting a beautiful new car for definitely the right price! Chad Todd and his associates went above and beyond to make my wife happy with her trade value, price of the new truck and payments. Chad and his staff went out of their way and made it so we didn't even have to go into the dealership. They brought a couple different trucks for us to look at before she found the right one. I was having trouble with comfort in my vehicle and I had only had it a couple months. I called And Chad Todd the GM was super helpful and got me traded out of it into a new vehicle and lowered my payment $100 a month. I will always call Chad for my vehicle needs and refer my friends. They even delivered it to me at work and I didn t have to sit in a dealership to do paperwork

I have bought a few cars from here and my experience has been phenomenal. The management has gone out of their way to be accommodating to my needs and my schedule with deliveries of my vehicles. I have also sold a few cars to this dealership and I have always been happy with the sale and trade value. I always recommend this dealership to my friends and family.

Steer clear--literally! After having service performed ( they took out instrument panel to replace entire system that controls heat and a/c -- most covered on warranty --I still payed some)-- picked up vehicle and found heat not working and shifter light out. Returned to have these checked and was informed that I needed a new heater core ($2600+) and shifter bezel would have to be replaced to fix light. After 2 weeks without vehicle waiting for bezel to arrive, decided to bring Jeep home and check things myself. Two hours later I fixed everything for $2. The shifter bezel just needed a new light bulb (5 minutes) and the blending door for heat was never hooked up from previous service ( 2 hours to diagnose and reconnect the actuator). Makes me wonder about the previous service and what I was charged---As an update--- It has been over 2 months and I have never been contacted by anybody as to my previous experience as they said they would in the response. In addition, as noted by other reviewers, if you have a warranty, they will still charge you extra saying that the hours to complete the service payed by the warranty company is not enough. Again, steer clear!

I am not one to post reviews frequently, but my encounter with Holden Dodge in Dover, DE was unacceptable. I bought a brand new Jeep Wrangler Sahara from this dealership last year, and the buying process was great. It wasn t until I sent the jeep in for repair that I had issues. Jeff from the service department was very accommodating. However, when I picked up my vehicle post maintenance it smelled like absolute smoke. I disregarded the notion since we first entered the vehicle with masks. However, after removing our masks and cleaning out my car, I have discovered many items in my vehicle that do not belong to me. Some honorable mentions would be a dirty face mask and a marijuana wrapper with remanences of marijuana pieces. I am extremely disappointed in the dealership. With only 15k miles on my jeep, I have taken precautions to keep the vehicle in pristine condition. Every time I step in the vehicle, it now smell like smoke. And to have had marijuana left and smoked in my vehicle is absurd. If this dealership is allowing their employees to abuse vehicles dropped off by their owners, they need to be reevaluated by corporate. On another note, if this was due to someone breaking and entering my vehicle, the dealership needs to ensure protection of all vehicles in their possession. Again this is unacceptable, I am extremely in awe at the negligence of care at Holden Dodge in Dover, DE. From my experience, I would highly recommend to please steer away from this dealership due to their lack of attention.

Awesome team at the Preston dealership in Dover. Kelby, my salesman was very knowledgeable of the vehicle I purchased. While I was doing the paperwork he was out getting my new truck gased up and washed. He actually helped get the old truck cleaned out too. Kudos to the sales team and let's not forget the service department too, as well as the bodyshop and detail guys. You guys were all great

The service team here is absolutely amazing! When making appointments for routine oil changes, they are always accommodating to my scheduling needs and ensure that all of the routine maintenance is being performed at necessary intervals. When something needs replaced or repaired, they are very willing to discuss the whole process and ensure that I understand what is needed and also ensure I know the cost involved. I definitely enjoy coming to bring my family's cars to get serviced knowing that it will be taken care of as if the car was their own!

Take your vehicle for service anywhere else!! Bought my jeep here and work nearby so had always come here in the past for service .before it was Preston. You may be scheduled for an appointment and have a pick up time but that means nothing to them. It takes 4.5hrs for a break inspection even when the appointment requested was for a break change. Their prices are outrageous. Example: breaks and rotors cost about $150 an axel more than other places. Save yourself the stress and money and go elsewhere.Update: took my jeep to another provider to assess the reported repairs needed and I did not actually have a leaky head gasket glad I went somewhere else.

Over the past few years buying a vehicle has become a challenge. During this time, I have found myself in the market for a vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted, and I can be a high maintenance customer. My online search had me cross paths with many different dealerships across many states. It was terrible. Crazy mark ups, not getting return calls, and even brazen bad attitudes. All of that stopped when I contacted Preston Automotive in Dover (about 7 hours away from me). The service I received from this dealership was in a class above the rest.My goal was to get as many items taken care of remotely before I came to get the vehicle. I had a lot of questions. I wound up speaking to a fantastic employee James Bee. He answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure everything was right. He even lined up my financing. I was very surprised to find out James is the General Manager of the dealership. He was very honest, humble and a pleasure to deal with. He really went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. That is not to leave out the salesperson Jim Cruson who I also worked with. There was about 10 days between initial contact and when I would be in town to make the purchase. He kept me always informed on the process and sent pictures throughout the week. Between the two of them it was an amazing experience. I never had trouble getting in touch with one of them. On one occasion they were both off and another salesperson went above and beyond to find my answer.The service did not end when I drove off the lot. I came across an issue which was immediately handled before I headed back home. This dealership is run with integrity and everyone I interacted with was awesome. The only regret I have is the fact that I am 7 hours away and I will be unable to use them for all my other needs. This is one place that you can trust. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends its worth the drive to see them specifically.

If I could give zero stars then I would. After dealing with service this last time and the lack of customer service because you don t want to deal with me isn t my problem. To tell me my issues are natural reactions of the vehicle or because body shop unplugged something isn t the answer. I will never again be at a Preston owned or operated buisness again. I will be taking my buisness else where. Thanks for not looking at my issues.

The Reps in the parts department are rude & very unprofessional. If you don't want to be in customers service then find a new profession. They don t provide clear detail & don t follow up when they assure you they will. I've never been the type to leave reviews but i was disgusted & continuously being cut off & not listened too which initiated combative tones & ultimately the employee hung up in my ear while i'm trying to give clarity on the reason for my call. i've been in customers service for 10 years & this is definitely one of those times where race is a factor, its clear. Had my tone gave white woman none of this would be a factor. i asserted myself differently when i was being talked over & not listened to. do better as a company.

Brought my daughters Jeep to the mechanic to be fixed. The problem was already diagnosed from another garage and after the mechanics checked everything else but the diagnosed problem, the bill more than tripled in cost. I got nickel and dimed before they corrected the previously diagnosed issue. Take your vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion.

Took car to resolve driver side door issues. They repaired the broken latch but completely ignored the other issue I was having with the door. I was assured my door was good to go whitch was false. I was charged full price for half a job. For the amount of money I spent with them iam very unhappy with the service advisor as well as the service. I have called several times to address this matter but after I give my name iam forward to another line and asked to leave message. None of my messages have been returned.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Bought a truck outright with a warrenty, and have NOTHING but problems with this place. They are nasty people, nasty attitudes and know NOTHING about the vehicles they are selling.
