2 night stay, weekend fri-sun,Customer service was excellent.Room was generally clean.Found a spot on the floor behind a chair that didn't get cleaned.Otherwise, the facility was very well maintained.Breakfast was disappointing. The pancake machine was almost out the first morning, Saturday. Second morning it was completely empty. The sausage looked like it was leftover from Saturday.Great selection of beverages, cereal, muffins, bread etc.Good value. Better if the breakfast was on point.

I visited this place and I absolutely could not stay! The room had a odor to it and then I asked if we can change rooms some strange reason it was said by the front desk there were no rooms available. However prior to getting my room I was asked if I want to be downstairs or upstairs and 20 seconds later mysteriously there no rooms available. miraculously a room was available on the second floor and it was worse than the first. Something was in the tub and something was on the bed. Walking to the front to check out I believe this hotel is a shelter and thats fine if it is but It definitely needs to be known to ppl. It was too many signs for me that I couldn't stay and did not feel comfortable at all!!!!! I checked right out 10 mins later. Sorry but yall have to do way better! It was a NO for me and I came from out of town!

Very disappointed. The rooms are outdated and have a nasty odor. Didn't know if I was staying in a halfway house or housing for addicts. Junkies walking through the hallways. I went to the front desk to make a complaint and they didn't seem amused at all what I was telling them. I asked for a manager/supervisor Saturday and Sunday and no one was available. They must allow people from off the streets to come in and eat breakfast. My husband and I left and went out for breakfast. I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past and never experienced what I witness this weekend. We felt very uncomfortable. NEVER AGAIN. It's sad because I've emailed corporate and no one has responded to me yet so apparently no one cares about the well being of there guest.

This was the worst. The nastiest hotel I have ever stayed in. The health department needs to come in and shut them down. The staff was nice that I encountered. But thankfully it was only for one night. My family had blocked off rooms because we were in town for a family function. My 4-year-old was complaining about the rooms. They were musty with mildew and mold. They smelled rust dirt hair in the tub. Unfit for anything. There were junkies shooting up in the hallway. That made you feel for your safety. The pictures on the website are very deceiving. There was so many flies in the room. It was a dead fly in the bed and in the tub. I just stopped taking pictures because it was ridiculous.Walkability: They are food restaurants of variety within less than a minute walking distance.

The staff will invade your privacy! You leave for a couple minutes, they will enter your room without your knowledge or permission.

The room smelled of mildew and the bedding felt damp! The sheets had stains on them! There was a leak somewhere in the bathroom! Floor was wet had to put towels down on the floor! The TV wasn't working right and the fridge looks like something that had been dropped or kicked in! Needless to say I will not be coming back the next time I'm in Dover!

I really like this hotel. I will say that my first room it was taking some time for the heat to kick in but the young lady switched my room and all was well. The hotel is kept clean, the staff is friendly, and breakfast isn't bad at all for continental (except there is no bacon). I will say that on this try I was on the first floor and you could smell that people were near by smoking but it wasn't a big deal.

Bed mattress broken down, very uncomfortable. Decor and furnishings need updating. Heater works Excellent, however very noisy and grating/ grinding Noises all night long. Brkft poorly maintained. Coffee and milk pitcher Empty for v.long time. Counters and Tables unclean & v.sticky..saw no cloth, no cleaners to do myself. Lady in brkft area kept " disappearing for long periods..we questioned " does she do brkft room and clean rooms?"We would not recommend this place to anyone.

Had a really nice stay. The room was clean, breakfast was nice. Most of the staff was very nice/pleasant but there were 2 or 3 people who were unprofessional. Two women complained because there were only a few people checking out on Saturday (not sure how that affected them). The lady started taking down the breakfast foods, coffee, etc and 9 on the dot even though there were a few people still having breakfast (on previous days they just close the door slightly so no one else goes in). All in all I would definitely stay again

This might be the worst motel I have ever walked into. The smell of cigarettes and urine was beyond what anyone should have to deal with. The outside doors were broken and did not close. When trying to speak with management, after being escorted to the hoarder style office, the manager refused to deal with any of my concerns and informed me if I didn t like it I could check out. Do NOT waste your time even looking at this establishment the microtel across the street is hands down more clean, accommodating and doesn t make my skin crawl when I walk into a room.

I was NOT offended that you offer smoking rooms...missing the point. This place is disgusting! If I could rate this place a zero I would. Do not stay here unless you are ok with a brown, unopened pool, cracked windows, holes in screens, smoking rooms, and old broken mattress s. This place needs a complete overhaul! The front desk staff was really apologetic and sweet but who ever owns this place should be embarrassed to be charging $175/night!We went across the street and stayed at a clean Wyndham hotel!

I have never written a review on anything IN MY LIFE! But this hotel was so bad that I have to. Room smelled like cigarettes, floors were sticky, when I tried to take a shower the towels had hair on them from 3 PREVIOUS GUESTS. The shower water turns cold and there is grime all over the bathroom. Not to mention there was hair all over the bathtub. There was a dog in one of the rooms that barked all night ugh. Overall condition of this hotel was extremely dirty which is UNACCEPTABLE during this pandemic we re currently in. As i m writing this review a spider is crawling around the bathroom floor. Do yourselves a favor and do not stay here, you have been warned!!

Staff was all really super nice. Stayed two separate weekends. Both starts were great. It's quiet. Got a non smoking room and it smelled great. Sheets and towels all nice and clean. Renovations are being done and have been done so the updated room was great. No icky carpeting which is great if you have terrible allergies like I do. Price was right as well. Breakfast was free and not bad for free. Hot and cold choices. The only thing I hated was the pillows. Beds were comfy, there was coffee maker, microwave and fridge. All standard stuff. I'll be back as long as everything stays the same.

They where under construction. Was not aware there would be no breakfast st served and the pool would be closed. The rear stair well was closed off . The place was a mess. First room had no sheets.second room the mattress seemed to be so old and worn it's was bowed. I cleaned the bathroom and my rag was covered in black and brown debris. The floors felt sticky and gross. The only good things where the front desk was accommodating and super awesome and it had all amenities. I would have only paid maybe 30 bucks a night for the condition of the hotel and it's rooms. Anytime we needed anything sheets towels etc we where told we had to wait for overnight manager.

Best Western (Galaxy Inn) is an excellent place to stay. Located in a great area with lots of stores to shop and great restaurants too. The staff at the desk are very courteous and professional. My room was excellent. Quiet and enjoyable with great internet service. New furniture, New shades and relaxing. The manager has done a great job remodeling the entire building.I go there about 5 days every month and always come back refreshed.

They are working hard to remodel this location. I truly enjoyed the absence of carpet in the rooms! Our family had a total of 6 rooms from 1 to 3 nights, as we all drive and flew in for my Grandfather's memorial. It would be difficult for 15 of us to sit in one person's room to visit, so the staff allowed us to gather in the breakfast room in the afternoons and evenings while we were there. It was just perfect. They made a mini family reunion possible.

The lobby was decent, but as soon as you pass the tile floor, you are met with a pungent cigarette odor. The room itself was the exact same, we had to go buy a Glade wall plug-in and spray, yet that didn't even help. The room was also falling apart, such as peeling wallpaper around the window and various other details that made the quality feel like a rundown motel. The beds were made, but I'm not sure how clean, as I saw one of the maids smoking in a room as we passed. Also, make sure to watch your step around the beds as they have metal bars conveniently placed to bust your shin. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, I don't understand how it even has 3 stars as it is.

This is my first time using this hotel for my UTA weekend. It was the only hotel left to book because I transitioned from AD to reserve and still learning the Reserve life. I hate the smell of cigarettes. The room smells so bad that my clothes smell like it. I had get febreze and a plug in! Will be reschedule my reservation to other hotel. Sorry! But I don't smoke or anything. The front desk lady was really nice but I don't like the smell of entering the hallway to the room. I still in my room during my UTA and the smells is strong.

Not your best BW.Dated appointments in room.Biggest problem is no vanity. What's up with that? One shampoo no conditioner or lotion and a lesser brand at that.Breakfast was marginally ok, but needs attention.Clothes poles missing from.very small stand alone closet.Very noisy with a major thoroughfare running by it.The room was clean and bed comfortable. However, overall, there are better places to stay in area.

UNSAFE AND DIRTY!This place is absolutely gross. The hallways and room smells like cigarettes. I had to go to the store and buy some air freshener just so I could go through the night. Constant fights and yelling through the night, there were cops in the hallway banging on doors. No room service the next day because they had a "busy morning". Worst place I have EVER stayed at.

-Bedbugs all over the carpet.-Front desk hostess working while holding a newborn baby.-Lobby area smells like cigarettes and public restrooms. This place is a slum! After having an experience where we were greeted by a front desk hostess who was working with a newborn baby, and then being given a room that had bedbugs all through the carpet, we chose to leave and stay elsewhere. It's obvious the cleaning crew doesn't do a very good job, as the carpet had things on it from the previous guest, along with BEDBUGS! The bathroom had not been cleaned properly, and it was obvious as there was still dried urine on the toilet. This place is disgusting, and I will not stay here under any circumstances. They offered us a credit for a free room the next time we're in town, but we declined it. I'd rather pay $150 a night at the Marriott, than to stay in this bedbug-infested slum, for free.

2 stars is about right. There are some renovations said to be happening, but I didnt notice any work being done during my time there. Cant say I was impressed about any of it. They did have breakfast but not much interesting. Most of the staff I saw were outside smoking. Trash piled up at entrance took too long to empty. I was ok with the bed, but did ask for more pillows. The 1/2 pillows they provide are silly. I did not feel like room was thoroughly cleaned before we arrived. There were flies, but there were flies everywhere we went so.....I would choose a different place next time.

This is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was better than expected. The hotel is dated and a little dingy, but functional. A third of the machines in the exercise room were broken and the pool was closed.
