To be honest, this particular store doesn't even deserve 2 star's. I needed my vehicle checked out with their computer to find out, if possible, why my check engine light was on. The young man behind the counter informed me that his computer was not working. It failed to connect with the 3 previous customers vehicles. He made no effort to at least look at me while he was speaking to me. Personally I believe that he just didn't want to go outside in cold. To me, someone who can't look me in the eyes while speaking to me is lying. Just my personal opinion. Also the older gentleman behind the counter totally ignored me.

Helpful here all i had to do was ask and staff was friendly it just sucks that they do not assist with help putting in a light or explaining how to do it, being a woman i really appreciate the assis help with what seems simple.

Good variety of car parts, accessories and touch up paints. If they don't have it, they can order from other locations. When I went there they did not have what I needed, but the employee was courteous and helpful and offered to order what I needed. The store is clean and organized. Easily accessible from Dupont Hwy. Prices are competitive with other competing car part stores.

I needed to remove tar on my white car without damaging the finish on my pumper. The product they recommended worked great. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The also start by their product. I bought a car battery that was defective, and they immediately replaced it with a new one.

I went to Advance Auto Parts to purchase a battery. I was informed by a coworker that this business would install the battery if purchased there. Wrong.. the representative told me oh we don t install batteries after 5pm, it was 4:45pm. He said it was too close to 5. I went to Autozone and they were happy to help!

I recently went to Advance Auto Parts in Dover, Delaware to buy a new battery for my car. I was very disappointed with the service I received.When I first walked in, the store was very crowded. There were only two employees working, and they were both very busy. I waited for about 10 minutes before I was able to get someone's attention.I finally walked out and went to AutoZone

I bought an alternator in the State of New Jersey lifetime warranty and try to return it. They wouldn't allow. I did not have the original Receipt because I live in new jersey

I'm a fairly new driver, so I don't know much about car parts. I ordered a windshield wiper for online pickup, which was ready for pickup in 10 minutes. When I got there I was immediately helped by a store associate, who also ordered my other wiper which wasn't in stock for an overnight delivery. He also installed my wiper for me, and refused to take a tip for it. As a former New Yorker that meant a lot to me... Overall I'd recommend coming here for any of your auto part needs.

I had to get a new battery for my car. I ordered online and went to pick up my order before it was actually ready but they were able to still get my order quickly. The rep also quickly and professionally installed my battery. I would definitely recommend Advance Auto Parts.

They know how to look up the parts you need quite well. They seem to always have a former mechanic working that is helpful with trouble shooting. They will test your parts for free and will even change Your battery for you. Compared to the local higher priced Napa this place is awesome. The employees might not all have a mechanical background but as i said before, they know how to look up your parts and they can read your codes for free saving you a lot of loot over most places.

While visiting from Florida to perform at the Thunder Over Dover air show we encountered multiple mechanical issues. Kyle the manager at Advanced Auto went above his everyday job description to help us out! Kyle you helped make our performance at the air show possible! Thank you so much for all of your help!

I went there to see about recycling antifreeze, apparently auto parts stores in Delaware do not take antifreeze. The sad part is the sales person had advanced didn't know they took antifreeze or not. I would think that's kind of basic but probably since people that lived here forever know that they don't take it they don't bring it in and so he doesn't have the question. Trivia, same thing when I called pep boys the guy that answered the phone did not know if they recycled antifreeze or not, pretty sad and at the same time The learning experience for myself. I just moved here in April, so I'm still learning things. This is not a reflection on advance for their people and I was just recounting my experience.

Needed new wiper blades with all the rain we've had. I also needed a new turn signal bulb. They were very helpful in helping me find what I needed. Also installed all parts for me & showed me how to change the bulb for myself. Great customer service!

I took my car to get a battery check. My battery is located near my wheel well but I do have lines that run up by the engine. I was told that they couldn't get a read and had to access my battery to do so which would require removing my tire and they weren't doing that! I took my car to another place they used the exact same reader and was able to tell me that I needed a new battery.

Got done with work only to find I had a terrible flat tire, the local air pumps were broke, so in desperation I went to advanced Auto parts, and Patrick was phenomenal!!! He absolutely went above and beyond to help me! Cant say enough about how grateful I was to have someone willing to help especially on such a cold night!A+!

The selection there is lacking. On the website it might say they have tools or products in stock but when I go in it never is. I ve been told by employees that I might as well go to harbor freight because that tool hasn t been in stock in a while. I ve also gone here on a different occasion and had an associate tell me they don t accept advance auto parts gift cards. The manager came over and figured it out while the associate stood in the background still arguing they didn t accept gift cards. Unfortunately something they can t control is the computer system is very difficult and slow. That s the company s fault obviously but it makes going in to simply just pick up a part I ordered from easy to very difficult from the system to the unknowledgeable staff.

Called looking for a part; before I could ask, was placed on hold. 13 minutes later, still nothing. So I called back- and no one even picked up- four minutes of hold music and I hung up again. Called one last time, again- nothing. Funny how fast the competitor answered my call- they obviously want my business.

Received excellent, fast, friendly service. The manager went above and beyond to help. She even helped carry the parts to the car! My husband and I will definitely return because of her.

Advance Auto parts is one of my favorite auto parts store. I like them because I have bought parts from them and don't recall any issues in quality I never had to return anything due to poor quality or not being the wrong part

Convenient location. Helpful staff are on hand to answer questions. Make sure you did up for Speed perks, their rewards, to get (at times) a nice chunk of money off of your bill.

Visited there today, 7-8th time?All ways knowledgable help who are friendly.Today know exception, young lady knew what I wanted, assisted me w purchase. Even walke onto floor to point out small tube of thermostat/heat goo.Good job Advanve, been going to Milford out of convience(wifes work) but you guys hired a mature teenager. 9 out of 10.

I called and was immediately placed on hold, was on hold for 5 mins and no one bothered to come back on the line. So I called autozone. I will never even waste my time calling advance auto parts again. Work on your customer service.
