Naturally I was nervous about bringing my car here because this place was new to me, I've never brought a vehicle here for work. But the lady at the front desk was friendly and explained in good detail what needed to be done. Obviously the next thing I was worried about was the $$.. Work was at a reasonable price. All in all I am happy with the work and professionalism of this place.

I have been taking all of my vehicles there for over 25 years. No matter what your car needs, this is the place to go. I send all of my family & friends there. They are all satisfied with the work that has been done. They always call with a price before working on the vehicle. There are honest about the work that needs to be done. It's always done with courtesy and care at awesome prices. You can't go wrong when you chose Durkee Automotive.

As always, my van runs and feels great after being serviced at Durkee. My van went from feeling like a death trap to driving like a good, dependable vehicle again! As a widow with older vehicles, it can be very uncomfortable dealing with auto repairs. Durkee explains the situation, offering options when possible, so I can make the best repairdecision for my car, my safety and my budget. An honest and trustworthy family shop that does great work! A real blessing!

Took my Dodge Durango with exterior lighting problems (electrical). I even took it to a Dodge Dealership for repair, however they couldn t pin point the problem. Took it to Durkee Automotive these guys did a diagnostic & got right to the problem. Even the receptionist was was very helpful and friendly. I have been using Durkee for years! I HIGHLY recommend them. They are thorough. It gets done right the first time. They're honest. You do not have to worry that they will say you need something if you don't. If something will need replacing or fixing in the future, they will tell you that, they don't try to push it on you now, just to make money. Last, but certainly not least, they are kind and friendly. They know customer service and give it every day. I tell everybody about Durkee, because they are the best around!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance, Battery, Oil change

I have used Durkee for a few miscellaneous repairs / upgrades to my cars and they have done great work! So far they have allowed me to bring my own purchased parts in some cases which I appreciate as a car person in general. I'm sure it's a pain when people bring the wrong parts and is messes up your schedule. Thanks Durkee team!

I can t say enough great things about this place. Honest, fair in pricing, quality work, quick. There is a reason there s never availability for same day appointments. Best recommendation is just wait instead of finding somewhere else.

Was traveling through Wilmington and car started to overheat. No idea what was wrong so quickly looked up nearby, high rated garages and settled on Durkee. Absolutely a fantastic choice. They looked at my car the very next day and sadly it needed a full engine replacement (cracked block). Not being able to just leave the car several hours away from home, they very generously allowed me to keep the car there for a full week while I secured a way to tow it home. They did all of this FOR FREE. If I m ever in need to help in this area of Delaware again, I know where I m taking my car!
