They will take a simple fix and turn it into a $1900 bill and tell you. You will never get through motor vehicle and the waiver form. Pass that the motor vehicle is running for $1110. They will take advantage of it and defrauded.

Now for myself I have not had any problems with this shop. Not sure what happened for the one star reviews. But for myself made appointments and they got my car in a timely manner. Got me in out in the time I was expecting to be there. Granted I didn't go there for anything super complex to be done to my car. Was only having tires installed and alignment done.

Pep Boys is great! I had a dead battery and just went there. They were friendly, courteous and took me right in! They did a great job replacing my battery! I would highly recommend Pep Boys to anyone needing service on their vehicle! They were reasonable on their prices, too!

Made a 1:00 appointment for a routine oil change. At 2:00 I noticed my car was still parked outside, untouched. I requested an update from the desk staff and was told that I was next in line. At 3:00, my car was still in my original parking spot. When I asked the desk staff for an update, I was told that the technician was getting ready to bring the car in now. By 4:00, my car still hadn t moved. I requested my keys from the desk staff and left.

We got a flat tire while on a road trip. Ken, the Area Manager, took care of us like we were family. He was knowledgeable, professional and helpful in providing service options. We would definitely recommend anyone with tire issues to head to Pep Boys in Bear!

This is some of the worst service I ve ever experienced. I had an appointment at 10am and showed up 10 minutes before for a tire repair. It took 3 and 1/2 hours for them to do it. I was repeatedly lied as well by the front desk staff.

Excellent customer service. Very friendly and helpful. Didn't try to push me to buy things I didn't need and actively told me that some things weren't needed until my next service. Got me to spend less money than I intended and got my car back quickly.

If you want to have your car sitting all day for a job that takes no more than 2 hours. This is the place to go. brought my car in at 8 am . car was moved at 8:55 and then parked. finally moved the car in at 1pm . This place does not know how to schedule service appropriately. you will waste a day at this place be prepared and warned. and the only excuse they could give me was their computer system is down. not to mention, I saw my vehicle on the lift with the tires hanging on by one lug nut in the air. then service advisor to mention it would take 45 mins to complete from that point. Like what.... utterly disgusted. my business will stay away from this place and any other pepboys.

Was made to feel very comfortable with the way the car was serviced. Everything was explained so that we could understand and we were given recommendations that we could consider, not rushed into purchasing more than we budgeted for at the time. Appreciate this Pep Boys so much!

This Pep Boys location has excellent customer service and qualified technicians. Ra'Qwan and Taylor were easy to work with during my service after purchasing 4 new tires, an alignment and brake pad installation. During the service my rear left caliber seized and wouldn't compress. After Taylor called multiple part suppliers we were unable to locate an aftermarket solution. Fortunately for me, Ra'Qwan had the skillset/knowledge necessary to resolve the unique occurrence. Both of these employees should be valued by Pep Boys and I appreciate their insight, approaches, and abilities in problem solving to finish the different services.I am thankful and will be a returning customer.

I deal with a guy named Z, he s the man and knows how to treat people. He s the reason I m still a customer. He s very dedicated to what he does you can really feel the experience he deals with me in other customers. When I call ask for him personally I suggest everyone who reads this review.

Excellent service! I was over 3 hours late for my appointment due to waiting on delayed tow truck (called ahead to notify them of the delay) and the staff was understanding and took my vehicle right back when it arrived. Vehicle was in and out in a little over an hr!

Drove 35 mins for my scheduled tire appointment only for them to tell me that there tire guy left because he was sick. Would have been nice if they contacted me before I showed up.

Very smooth transaction. I was able to order the tires online and set my appointment. Once I got to the store checked in. they did a great job on the tires.

I haven't been to this place in awhile.... Seems like it's really clutter towards the rear of the store. I was searching for a certain item and Was not able to find it. So I approached 3 workers that were standing around just talking near the Tires section. I told them that I needed some help finding this certain item.... and They all had a puzzled look on their faces. Luckily the Manager "George" knew what I was talking about and Showed me exactly where it was. Thanks for the Help. Those other 3 employees need to be retrained on where the items in the store are Located.

I keep telling people over and over again, don't get blinded by the "ASE" CERTIFIED BULLCRAP! THERE ARE TECHNICIANS THAT THAT WERENT DUMB ENOUGH TO PAY THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TO LEARN NOTHING! Save your money and your time . Appointments are a joke , Use your credit card when getting services done by them so it can be disputed provided your not satisfied with the service. My vehicle is sitting in the shop with my wheels hanging off of my car ,bending up the dist shields behind the rotors. 45 minutes to tighten 20 lug nuts with an air gun.......good excuse pepboys. I will be definitely disputing this service on my credit card, I had to call out of work behind this situation.

I had one place tell me that my battery needed to be changed last week. I put it off and today when I went to start my car, it hesitated a bit so I figured maybe I should get it done. Well, all the places up by me was booked and I went as far as to call Bear (I live up just shy of the PA line), booked an appointment and waited. Monique called to tell me that the website was a bit off appts wise, but could fit me in for a battery test. Stayed later to ensure of it too. Not only did the test reveal I don t need a new battery yet, but she was really nice and professional. I ll be back if I have the need!

I paid over $1000 for my car to be fixed just for my check engine light to come on and my car to continue to shake as I pull off. I used to do all my maintenance here, and they have lost me as a customer.

Needed four tires for my Subaru Forester. Excellent deal on reputable tires. Easy to make appointment, reasonable wait time. Seemed to be properly done. Nothing to complain about.

Dropped off my car yesterday for an oil change and was told it would take a day. I called an hr after the estimated time o line said it would take for the service to be complete and no one picked up. I guess it takes 2 whole days to do an oil change?

Keep off this place. I lack words to use to tell you that you will be risking your life by trusting them with your car. Just beware. They did extremely shoddy work on my ToyotaCorollaa. Beware of this place!!! We brought our Toyota Corolla to them for service only to be given our car back in worse condition. They did not only give us the car in worse condition but it was not safe to drive the car and we had to take it to another mechanic. Keep off from them and try elsewhere. IF THEY CAN NOT DO A GOOD JOB ON THE TOYOTA COROLLA, WHAT CAR ON EARTH CAN THEY FIX.

Appointment at 4 to get tires put on, car didn t go in till 5! They took the tires off and I ve literally been looking at my car in the air for the last 47 minutes untouched! 3 people in the garage but the manager told me there was only one here. Apparently so cause nothing was getting done! Why schedule service if you don t have the capacity? Never again!

Saturday 9/2Took my truck for an oil change.Appointment was for 8:30 and they got my truck in within 15 minutes after getting there.The service desk staff Taylor and Zee were super friendly and I noticed they were very attentive to me and the customers walking in.The technician (Shannon) was very professional while handling my truck. He looked over everything and made maintenance suggestions based on my mileage and condition of my truck.Not only did he do that, he explained to me each and every item, how it works and the importance of maintaining it.This dude is a top class tech. I d swear he was their master technician of Forman/ team leader. The entire process was too class. Well ran facility.
