They fixed my truck when everyone else said to scrap it. And they did it for an extremely reasonable price that was well below what I had anticipated. They're awesome.

I had a fantastic experience with Automatic Shop! Their customer service and integrity truly stand out. They went above and beyond not only did they drop me off at home to inspect my car, but they also provided a second opinion on the brakes, rotors, and tires. Are you kidding me! Pete is the best ever! I trust him fully with repairs on my Mercedes. I wouldn t trust anybody else with my car except Pete! I would recommend him to everybody he s very honest he does an excellent job at a reasonable price. I heard good a reocmmendation but the communication is horrendous! If you get through the long hold, there is a receptionist who will take your name and number, but no one will call you back. Upon following up, another long hold was told that they see the message but because there was only make and model of car, no VIN# no one called me back? why is that required before even knowing IF they do this type of work let alone if I want them to do it! Another review stated that after an issue with their repair they were still not allowed to speak with Pete. I realize they're busy but there is not one garage I called so far where I couldn't interact with the mechanic who could understand the issue and explain my options before moving forward. Do not recommend. Also, 2 receptionists = higher prices. They might be ok for making basic routine appointments, but are unable to discuss mechanics, therefore if you can't speak to a mechanic once never having gone there how would you know if they can help you or you even want them to?

I've known Pete and he has been my mechanic for over 30yrs. He provides quality service at a reasonable cost. All his staff is great and talented.

This is a great place! After moving to Canton I still bring my car here to be serviced. Pete the owner is always friendly and wants to make you happy, he shares expertise and is willing to give his opinion on your options. The entire staff is always friendly and after 20+ years I have never had a bad experience here. You will usually have to make an appointment, as PC Auto is well known and liked throughout the area. This is strictly a garage, they don't sell gas.

Everyone should have a garage they trust and appreciate as much as we do of PC Auto. Anyone who knows Pete knows how helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable he is, and the entire staff follows suit. Always on the money with diagnosis, but without the cost. VERY reasonable prices and they don't overcharge for things you don't need. All labor and fees at or under what you expect, and they are more than willing to follow up on issues.We've been visiting since their new garage opened up on RT 6, and will return year after year as we need to. Highly recommended!

Awesome! Receptionist was accommodating & pleasant, Pete who owns the shop was efficient, fair priced, & kind, with a gentle confident presence which gives me confidence & trust in him & his work. In the years that I have taken my car here I have never been disappointed & always pleased with the outcome!

Called them late on a Friday on a holiday weekend. They were able to squeeze me in for the Saturday. My issue wasn't readily apparent so they called me to discuss it. They were very honest in the discussion and laid all of the options out in a concise manner. The charge was extremely fair at the end of the day and they were very accommodating and helpful!

Pete is real, honest people. The facility was highly recommended by a trusted machinist in Oakville. Did not disappoint. Yes, it was a big head gasket job, yes it ran long with a few surprises, but communication was good, price was reasonable. Would definitely service there again.

HONEST business dealings by Pete and his wife! They only charge for what they actually do. I have dealt with PC Auto for over five years.Recently I had two gratifying experiences.I took one of my cars to PC Auto to have brakes done (50k miles on the rears). Pete did not do the job. They did inspect, found 50% of the linings left, and only charged me for cleaning and lubricating as needed.Then I purchased a used car. It needed an entire exhaust, including the "Cat". The parts were some expense, as expected - but the labor charge was far less than expected.No wonder there is a waiting list for service at PC Auto.Thanks Pete! R. Pete and his team are the best. The most honest garage I have ever used. Needed new exhaust on one of our cars - first garage quoted $1300+ and included a bunch of stuff that didn't need to be done the in end. Pete got it done in 30 min for less than $400 with the majority of cost being being parts. He also stands by his work and does whatever it takes to keep.your car on the road. I'll never us another garage again!

Pete is a great guy- super honest and always recommends only what needs to be done. When going with new tires, he advised me to go with the budget brand because it met my goals with an older Accord at the time, and is willing to tell me not to go ahead with certain services I inquire about. Straight shooter. Place is BUSY because people love the company and work they do there and word of mouth has spread- book appointments in advance and you'll be a happy camper. This is my go-to place, I head there from one town over.

Based on a recommendation from a friend, I took both my cars here over the last month. Great service, and a feeling I could trust these guys. Fair pricing as well. Probably the best auto service experience I can recall in far too many years.

I have used PC Auto in Woodbury, CT for over a decade with only positive reaults. Pete and his team are the best. He never overcharges for work. He is honest and fair and lets you know when you have kept a car limping along for too long. Other shops would let you keep pouring money into a heap. He always asks before he does the job. Everyone I recommend this place to leaves their former mechanic. He has such a big following now!

Pete is a rare find!! He is so honest its ridiculous!! Super knowledgeable and prices are very good on everything I have had done! It L's nice to know you go to someone you can absolutely trust won't rip you off.. He is awesome!!

Awesome place to get your car fixed ! Really like the work done here and always done in a great timing. I would recommend this to my friends. I've been having problems with the older man who picks up calls and schedules apointments. He is no good... VERY mean and disrespectful. Encountered multiple problems with him. He should not be working there.

PC Texaco has been taking care of our cars and out sons cars for decades now. They have been honest, fairly priced, and go above and beyond the call when needed. I have recommended without hesitation, and been thanked every time.

So glad I found these guys. Pete, the owner always lets me know what the problem is without trying to sell me on a 100 diagnosis before even fixing the problem like some mechanics and all dealers. The straightest shooter I have found in all my years of car ownership.

My friend highly recomended this place, she takes her car here all the time. Now i know why she has to take her car to the shop all the time. They did not listen to me when i told them what i thought was broken and they insisted it was something else. As soon as i left i knew they did not fix the problem. I took it back and it was exactly what i first thought. They fixed the problem finally. Then not even a year later i had to replace my new tires because they messed up my alignment so badly. I asked the new mechanic if anything else could have caused my alignment to be so off and they said that nothing else was wrong. Dont waste your money by going here.

Decent place, especially if you're a Woodbury native. I brought my car there because a few friends recommended this place, and he fixed my alternator for $283 which was a lot less than the $500 the mechanic here in Seymour wanted to fix my alternator. The prices in general are excellent which is why I have gone back a second time since my car's been making some odd noises (couple of friends think it's either the power steering pump or water pump). I REALLY wish I could give this place 5 stars, since so many people like Pete a lot and wax poetic about how amazing the quality of work he does is, but there is a downside and it's a bit of an annoying one if you're NOT the type that will hound your mechanic for progress updates. Pete, the mechanic, and his receptionist do not communicate that well. This current time has been a bit annoying because I couldn't make the 1 pm appointment that he set for me, so I called and asked his receptionist if I could instead drop my car off after hours so that I wouldn't be stranded in Woodbury all day and Pete could work on my car at his own leisure. She said sure, no problem, and told me to leave the key in the key drop and leave a note in my car explaining what the problem is and my phone number. I called the next day to ask for a status update and Pete gave me a bit of a hard time for not having my car there at 1, and then asked me all over again what the problem was and what my phone number is. I know he's very busy and his time is valuable, but so is mine and I am the customer and the one paying him after all. I know he doesn't have all day long to call customers back, but a call once every day or even every couple of days for an update would be nice. I wouldn't even make such a big issue out of this except for the fact that I had this same problem the last time. I usually just chalk this up to the fact that I'm not a Woodbury native and he doesn't know me that well. It's just a fact that some mechanics warmly welcome new customers and some are fairly indifferent. When it comes to this place, I'd say it's lukewarm.Overall, I will say this place is good, but as usual, the cheaper price leads to less than satisfactory wait times and communication, so just be aware of this before you take your car there.
