Just recently had a transmission put in, this was my first time going here and they will always have my business. Was very up front with the diagnosis and price range of repair. Service was completed quickly and final price fell very close the median quoted price. Would definitely recommend.

This shop has my business for good. They are always polite and professional, and do what they're realistically able to, to be accommodating. Scott was extremely helpful recently when I brought my car in and didn't have a part that I needed, and they were able to come up with a great solution that helped me significantly. I went to Bedell as recommended by my mechanic, even though there was another transmission shop much closer. What could have been an expensive transmission rebuild ended up being a pressure sensor for a few hundred dollars. I was super pleased with the professionalism and honesty of this business and will definitely only come here for any future transmission issues. Highly recommend.

Rob and the crew are so friendly. He explained everything that needed to be fixed on my transmission, gave me a quote and performed the work quickly and correctly. My old Dodge shifts great and there's no slippage, leaks, shudder, etc. It performs better than when it was new! The fact that he does emissions is an added bonus! Highly recommended shop with an honest owner that really knows what he's doing!

In this age of Google mechanics its nice to have someone who knows what the issue is without racking up a bill in parts and labor not needed in order to find the real problem. Straight to the point, friendly, professional, on time and honest. They use only quality parts, none of that cheap ebay junk that breaks after a month, and their prices are, i dont want to say cheap because cheap means your sacrificing somewhere so ill say affordable and honest. My fuel injection pump failed on my 2015 GMC Sierra 2500hd and bedell transmission without hesitation took my truck right in and on the lift for repair. Rob is a very knowledgeable diesel tech who had my truck in and out at a very very reasonable cost! Thank you so much again Rob for everything! Drove my classic mercedes for a test drive there. waited two weeks for a repair quote. I have called there three times during this time. The owner never called me back with a quote. what kind of business model is it if you don't answer the calls of potential customers. complete waste of time. finally after two weeks, I decided to repair my gearbox in a more competent garage. The owner showed a lack of competence as a businessman and lack of respect. ...... And it turns out that the owner is untruthful . it's a really bad way to run a business.

I took my 2016 GMC duramax to Rob to have my CP4 injection pump and some other general maintenance done, My experience and service at Bedell transmission was second to none, the task at hand was not an easy one and rob gave me daily updates, and he is very meticulous with his work. Bedell s was one of the easiest shops to work with I have ever encountered and I will without hesitation take my vw hole back the next time it needs anything. Had my 2008 2500hd in for transmission service due to loss of gears, Rob diagnosed the problem rite away and ordered parts for a full rebuild and upgrade for my Allison 1000. He had it all done in a timely manner and back on the road very quickly! I can honestly say the truck has never shifted so smooth, by far better than the day I bought it.

I took my car into the shop for some violent shaking courtesy of CT s roads and pot holes where they quickly diagnosed my issues. They performed the work needed (tie rods, both sides), and even got my car aligned for me before I picked it up. We recently had a severe electrical storm in Wolcott, CT. Starting the car the next day it was in Limp Mode and the dash screen was saying both Power Steering and Transmission had problems. We friends who know about cars and who is good at repairing suggested Bedell Transmissions. We told Rob about the storm and he thought it very well could have been a surge that caused the problems. It took 2 weeks to repair because the diagnosing was quite complicated and required replacing 4 computer modules and getting all of them to talk to other computers in the vehicle was a challenge. We were kept informed of the status and Bedell even lent us a loaner vehicle as we only have 1 car. VERY HAPPY WITH ROB AND HIS CREW FOR THE WORK THAT WAS DONE. Absolutely blown away by the care that has been put into my car. I have a Nissan rogue (a terrible decision on a car) and I bought it only 8 months ago. The transmission blew. I heard phenomenal things about this shop and I live about 22 mins away but I chose to come here. He talked to my father one on one for a period of time about the quality of the car and the experience he has with it. He also took the time for my dad to understand this new kind of transmission in these car. The CVT.A new transmission was ordered before I brought the SUV in. He did the job within a 3 day period. I paid after I was satisfied not before like some jobs.Now nissan sold me a bad remanufactered transmission and Rob took the time and care to bring it to nissan and discuss the issues and make sure they took ownership for selling a transmission with bad parts. He wants to make sure that I am satisfied knowing I am unemployed and that this was an astronomical unforseen unfortunate expense.I would 200% suggest coming here. My father is a tough cookie to sell. And he has been doing auto Mechanic work for years. He said Rob is a stand up man, does good business, and honors his word good old fashioned mechanic. I have nothing but good praise to say about him!!! WITH MUCH GRATITUDE!!!!Services: Transmission, Battery

my 08 mazda 3 was stalling intermittently. threw a bunch of codes. took it to Bedell Transmission for diagnosis and repair. turned out my transmission control unit was fried and my battery was bad. had em replace the tcu and battery, and got a tune up done while it was there. cost was super fair. Rob kept me up to date on what was going on at all times and turn around time was quick.Services: Transmission, Electrical

Just had my truck transmission rebuilt. Rob stands by his quotes and work. After internals replacement and rebuild, my truck was still having issues, brought it back in. They found electrical issues outside the transmission and repaired them under the original price agreement.

I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna awd. Well the transfer case locked up. They had it fixed within a week. And after I got my van back it started leaking gear fluid. Call them as soon as possible went in the next day and they fixed it the same day. I highly recommend them.
