I have been using this location for 7yrs. The last 2 times I've been to this location I've had issues with the end service.This past summer (2023) I took my daughters car in for a service. Staff was fast and courteous... Maybe to fast. I got about a mile from my house and heard the skid plate dragging on the ground. I had to return to the store and the manage said the service tech forgot to put the bolt back in that secures the skid plate...DETAILSFast forward to today (Feb 2024)... the past 2 days my garage has had oil on the floor from my truck. I took it back to Valvoline to see if the filter or plug has come loose before going to the dealer. (2019 Ram 1500) Yup the filter came loose. Manager said he has never seen this before and didn't know why it came loose. I guessing your tech didn't tighten it all the way, lucky it didn't come all the way off and breakdown somewhere. Then I asked him to top off my oil because it was low from the leak, he topped it off and charged me $9.03 for the oil.I guess this store doesn't care about the details anymore. I will no longer be using them to get my 4 cars serviced.

This was by far the best auto repair experience I have had. Bob the manager was exceptionally welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful. Bob and his team helped me in an emergency walk in situation and made sure I was seen immediately, car repaired, and every step was explained so I left more knowledgable. There was no attempt to upsell or add on expensive services, in fact, they worked to find a way to minimize costs. I am blown away by the customer service and integrity and trustworthiness of Bob and the team.Specifically, Bob, the manager was incredibly helpful, professional, and trustworthy. I was a bind and he was very friendly and patient, explaining everything that was going on so I could be a more informed customer. He saw me immediately and fixed my vehicle in record time. He also was so kind to his team and took the time to teach them as well. I m so grateful that I drove into their shop and will go out of my way to use them in the future because of Bob s incredible character and customer service.

Impressed with professionalism and efficiency. Was greeted immediately and guided into the bay. Super friendly technicians that take their job seriously. It's not the cheapest place, but you get what you pay for. This is now my place for all oil changes.

Brought my Ram 1500 to the Windsor Locks location for an oil change yesterday. I forget his name, but the technician who helped me was very professional and transparent. He advised me on services that "should" be done in the near future, but was not "pushy" at all which I really appreciated. He was simply transparent and knowledgeable. He did a great job! I would absolutely recommend this location if you are looking for an efficient, reasonably priced oil change.

I like the fact that I can just sit in my car and have the oil changed and anything else I need done for maintenance at this place. The employees are friendly and professional. I think it's a good place for my Lincoln town car to get Serviced.

Very fast and very friendly service here. I come for my oil changes and I'm usually in and out in less than 20 minutes. I've never had any problems with rude or unprofessional staff. If you aren't doing your oil changes yourself, I think this place is the next best option in the area.But I will say they get extremely pushy about selling you other services and tune-ups for your car that you may or may not really need, and get visibly disappointed when you decline, which always makes the experience uncomfortable. They do it under the guise of being safety conscious, which can come across more like a corporate sales pitch than genuine concern. We all know they want to make more money like any business would, but I wish they would just be transparent like "while you're here, you are getting close to needing (blank), want us to do it?" rather than 'your car will explode and kill you if we don't sell you this other service today and we just care so much about you and your family and pets and we love you and think you're too special to die so you should probably listen.' That gets old real quick. But I can understand the hustle.Prices are not great but not bad either. A full oil change usually costs me about $80 versus about $30 for doing it at home myself, but it is nice not having to do the work.

Got in and out in under an hour. They didn't try to get me to change things that didn't need to be replaced. (Air filter, wipers and so on)

Wonderful service! I was frustrated due to another locations wrongdoing but Genesis and Emily were absolutely wonderful. They got everything squared away and I drove away happy with how smooth my car was driving. Kudos to you ladies!

Friendly staff! They were quick but also explained all of the filters they may need to change in the future, they were not pushy about changing anything that day. There were two cars in front of me and in total I ended up spending 30 minutes here and never had to leave my car.

Had differential service performed there. Felt like a well run battle ship. Bob is the GM and you can tell he takes his job seriously and ensures everything is running properly. JP was who worked with me and had me in and out without issue and was awesome to speak with. Thanks very much to the Windsor Locks Valvoline Team, there s a reason I skip the others and drive hear. Don t hesitate to go here.

This place is so much fun you sitting in your car and they do everything check your tires your lights all your fluids and even make some. Recommendations so your vehicle stays absolutely In perfect condition In the prices you can't beat. They're very reasonable.

The Best place for oil changes and more. Outstanding Customer Service, Engaging, Very Professional, I love their Teamwork. I highly recommend this Valvoline! Wait time was at a minimum and so worth it! My car is so happy with the attention and giving it the personal care that it so desperately needed. You guys are the Best! Best experience I have had with Valvoline oil!The staff were all very friendly. Although there was a line they were all very efficient.Bob the manager was so great! He was so friendly and helped me so much. Jean Paul one of the technicians was so efficient. He really made this a great experience.I would definitely recommend going here, even if there is a line it will move quick.

This was my first time using a service like this since 1996! A friend used them in 2008 and had his vehicle throw a rod because the started the vehicle WITHOUT oil and then overfilled it. That incident kept me from going. Another friend told me the one in his area is amazing! He was right! Very friendly while maintaining a very professional experience. Kudos!

Great Oil change experience.. staff was knowledgeable and courteous, informative without being pushy.. jus presentingb the facts.. although alil more expensive than other shops, it was worth the service. They were very transparent in any service thatbwas offered and I didnt have to leave the car, so that was very convenient. Overall i would recommend this valvoline near Bradley Airport ..anytime to anyone..

Hands down, this is the BEST Vavoline in Hartford county. We live in the Middletown area and still make the drive up to Windsor Locks for our oil change needs. Shout out to J.P. (Nick, Isaiah, and the whole Windsor Lock team!) for awesome customer service and a super admirable work ethic.
