I would strongly recommend these guys for any car trouble. Last summer, in August, I was on my way home to Maryland from the Saco River in Maine. When I stopped to get gas in Connecticut, my battery died at the gas pump and I could start my car. Needless to say, being stranded in a state over 5 hours from home the day before I had to go back to work was an issue I didn t want to deal with. Luckily, these guys were able to get me a tow back to the shop, diagnose the problem, replace my battery, and get me back on the road in only a couple of hours. I was able to get home at a decent time, and get some rest before going right back to work the next day. They gave me a fair price for the work, we I appreciated because often times people will up charge you for an urgent job, and lets be honest, I was in a tough spot and they could have charged me more than they did. I really thank the guys at Franc Motors for coming to the rescue and getting me back one the road quickly. Could not recommend them more. I always appreciate working with mechanics who have integrity. Thanks again guys!Service: Battery

The best mechanics I have ever worked with over many years. Rick and Matt always take the time to educate me on the repairs and to give me a better understanding of mechanical issues and work done. Holly and Lori do a great job too and very nice to talk with while waiting for my car. Prices are very reasonable. So we have a 2009 Ford E450 shuttle bus. We were driving from New Hampshire heading to Florida. We blew a tire on a Sunday no one could help us and they were closed Matt suggested to slowly take it down the road and he would take care of it in the morning. We got a room in the town and he had us all taken care of in the morning and on the road by 10 am. They were friendly and very informative. Thank you guys Mike and StacyService: Tires

I brought my Skoolie (school bus) in for an oil change and was blown away by everything else that they did beyond the oil change! They topped of all the fluids (transmission, coolant, etc), which, on a diesel, is a lot more than it would be on a car. Filled all 6 tires. They also greased all the grease-points on the bus, which was an amazing additional service! And I just noticed today that they re-ran the fog-light electrical wires which became loose and were dangling. On top of being friendly mechanics, I was shocked at how thorough of a job they did inspecting and doing general maintenance to the vehicle, above and beyond the service I brought it in for. And all of this was done for a much more reasonable price than I paid previously for just the oil change!Service: Oil change

Great service! Rick the owner was honest and friendly and took the time to explain the work that needed to be done on my car. I originally took my car to the Honda Dealership and was told it needed a head gasket at the tune of $2k so I wanted a second option and took it to Franc Motors. They tested the head gasket and told me the head gasket was fine and that it didn't need replacing. I really appreciated there honesty. I needed some other work done so I had them take care of it and was very pleased. I will never use anyone else to service my car. I highly recommend Franc Motors.

Great people who do honest work at reasonable rates. Friendly and prompt service. Treats you like family. Treats you like the old days when you had " your mechanic " instead of the big dealers where you have to go with your new car so they can make you buy original parts and convince you you have to go to a dealer. They have our business forever.

We bought new tires at Franc's. Everyone is so friendly, and what service, put the tires on while I waited...done in no time!We have had work done there before and have always been satisfied. They are very honest and do not tell you that your car needs all kinds of work that it doesn't need.

After looking for a mechanic for the last year I can say the search is over.My GMC Savana is more than a van to me, it s a home on wheels. We traveled over 60k miles last year and both times the van was in dire need for professional help Franc has been there to exceed expectations.In a day where honesty is at a premium and so many people sugar coat news it s nice to know there are still some straight shooters out there. Nobody likes to have a broken down vehicle and bad news can be a bummer but at least you know after the bad news comes the great news .you re vehicle is fixed often better suited for the road than before the problem.If you want a bunch of smoke blown and broken promises I m sure anyone can help but if you NEED the job fixed RIGHT then this is the place.Service: Brakes

I am very picky with who can work on my car and the care and fantastic service that the mechanics put into thw job was amazing. I am so pleased with how quickly the job was done, the price, and how thoroughly Ky the mechanic explained everything to me after. When I go back, I know my car will be in good hands!

I used to go here a lot because it was close and convenient, but one day I went and they were going to charge me $660 to get new rotors and brake pads. My sister had me call someone else and for the exact same thing they only charged $270. Please if you don't know much about cars at least just call somewhere else for an estimate before you just trust them. I am naive and don't know anything about cars. I'm very glad I called somewhere else

I am from Massachusetts and my car started to act up as I was driving on the highway last night. I called the nearest place that was still open (that being Franc Motors) and even though they closed in ten minutes, I was invited to come by. They spoke with me and helped me to find an open dealership in the area so I could troubleshoot my problem. Most places would just say "we are closed", but these are clearly caring people. I really appreciated their kindness and I wanted to express that. Thank you!!

We have been going to Franc Motors for various auto needs for nearly 15 years and have nothing but good things to say about this family owned company. They go above and beyond...from giving you a ride back home, or to work (if local) after dropping your car off, to excellent knowledge and honesty (extremely fair pricing). There's something to be said for timing, particularly bad timing. On our way home from the veterinarian's with our newest rescue who had just been spayed, we got stuck in construction traffic, overheated which caused a rusted pipe to burst and a hose too. Oh yipppeeeWe were out in the middle of nowhere when we found Franc's Motors like a beacon in the fog.Having very little money on hand and a dog that had just come out of surgery, we were feeling more than a bit deflated. As luck would have it, the owners and staff of Franc's couldn't have been any kinder or more helpful. My faith in mankind is renewed as a result. They could have taken advantage of us, we were an emergency, over an hour from home and with a dog that needed to get home. Instead they came up with a workable fix and set about to fixing our poor Jeep. We were back on our way in less than an hour and at such a reasonabe price that I know this was one of those 'silver linings'. From my dealings with Franc Motors and working with Rick over the past decade, I believe that he and his staff go above and beyond to make sure your vehicle is fixed right. As today's vehicles have become increasingly complicated and reliant on computer technology and electronic "control systems", there is still a need for hands-on intuition and "human" diagnostic skills to confirm that the repair has been done right. Moreover, Rick will stand behind the work his staff has done weeks and months, and even years, down the road.

Very good place to have your car, truvk, or RV repaired. Knowledgeable and caring staff who go the extra mile for the customer. They do their best to fix it right the first time. They also do towing and recovery.

Poor. Charged me diagnosis labor but "couldn't find problem." Next day gas is spraying out of the feed hose in engine the compartment. Gee, ya think they looked at the hose? Come on, show a little initiative and concern for your customers.

I broke down nearby while traveling to Boston. My car is unsalvageable, but they have gone above and beyond in helping me figure out how to deal with the situation. I am very grateful to them for being so kind.
