Bought 2 aftermarket Ford keys from Amazon. Had them cut and programmed in 20 minutes. Keys worked perfectly. Dashboard shows 2 more keys registered. Their price is a fraction of what Ford dealer or Ace Hardware wanted. They cannot guarantee success of bring-your-own-keys, which is totally understandable. But they do check the key's chip before they attempt to program. Extremely friendly and professional.

Chris and Doug at professional lock &safe are great . Lost my keys to my truck , so they had to cut new ones from the code .Came out to my house ,programed keys and they worked perfectly.

These guys saved the day I called 100+ motorcycle shops and not a single one had any or could even copy a key professional lock and safe had pretty much anything you needed got my spare key made and it works great will definitely be coming back

I managed to lose my only key to my car. The staff at Professional Lock and Safe were very friendly and said they could help me out. They arrived as promised and made me a new key and programmed at new FOB for me at a very reasonable price. I am a VERY satisfied customer.

Very helpful! Had the right answer to my problem and provided verbal instruction for how to correct it myself. Offered to schedule a visit within two days if my attempt to fix the offending lock failed. I fixed it. The only issue I had with the business was this: I waited five hours for a callback that had been promised in minutes and finally had to call back myself to continue a conversation that had been interrupted by "customers."

No one ever wants to need a locksmith, but they replaced my only car key (lost to the ether by my preschooler) and come right to my house, within 24 hours. Fast, kind, and conveniently. Exceptional service.

Had keys cut for my car (GM laser cut) on blanks that I brought in to them. The staff was professional, accommodating, and friendly. Two keys took about 10 minutes and worked flawlessly without any issues. For about a 3rd the price of the dealership, and none of the headache I now have exactly what I needed. Can't recommend them strongly enough.

This company is great if you need any locksmith services in the Windham area. They are very professional, and want to make sure the customer is getting exactly what they need with the best experience. They were able to come finish a job for us before our scheduled appointment and were very accommodating with COVID concerns. Good prices too! We definitely recommend!Service: Installation

Great service, timely responsible technicians. Job was done right, quickly, for a fair price. I ended up making a last minutel add on to an install, they ran the extra part out to the tech at my house so the job could get done in one service call.That is heads up customer service!!Would totally use them again.

Based on the many 5-star reviews, Doug doesn't need this one from me, but here it is anyway. I have had Doug Rapp come to my house several times, and he is prompt and professional. He works quickly, and his prices are reasonable. I have also seen him do a week-long project putting in complex electronic door locks at my school. So he will do any job, from 5 minutes at your house to weeks at your business. Apparently he can do it all! Great business, worth supporting.

We had Doug come and replace all 20 door locks and latches in our 35 year old house with new Schlage hardware. That included 8 entrance lock sets together with other interior door latches. We called, he visited, we approved the estimate. Then, a week or so later, at our convenience, Doug came and updated all our doors. In some cases he installed extra hardware to cover blemishes in our doors and frames. We are happy with these updates and services.

Doug the owner is an absolute expert; you'll be hard pressed to find a better locksmith shop in eastern CT. Changing every single lock in our new home, plus installing a burglary bar on a sliding door took about an hour, and Doug took the time to make sure we were happy with the final product. Highly recommend!

Had lost my keys for my 2010 Jeep Wrangler. They said I had to call the dealer to get the keycode and to call them.back. Called them back. They cut the new key, delivered it to where I was and also programmed the key. Very polite and quick service. Was told if I found the old keys, to bring them in and they would code them back to the jeep for free

I needed help with an old door lock (Corbin mortise) and the old keys didn't work well. They told me they might be able to rekey it, so I disassembled the lock and brought in the cylinder. They were kind enough to rekey it while I waited. I had 2 copies made and the keys all work smoothly (I will now go here instead of the big box stores for my key duplication needs). Once we got the new keys, I realized a piece of the mortise deadbolt system was broken. Once again, I brought it in and was super-lucky... even though it was an old lock, they happen to have a replacement part in the back room. They cleaned the lock up, replaced the part and it works again! Thank you Ray and Cameron!

Rude, rude, rude. I don't know who the guy was who took care of me, but I will NEVER use Professional Lock & Safe again! What a condescending, nasty person this guy was. I had to deal with this boorish fool 3x for a job I needed completed and each time he treated me worse than the time before. The last time I went in I had to return a cylinder he sold me for my 1935 mortise lock because it would not work no matter what I did. He said to me in one of the most disdainful tones of voice, "Of course it will work, you just need to change out the tail." Oh really? And how was I supposed to know that? I came to the locksmith because the locksmith is supposed to be the expert. If I knew how to take care of the problem, I would have ordered the part online and done the installation myself! I also told him that the size of the new cylinder was not the same as the old one that I had given him to use as a template. "They don't make that size anymore!" So I thought, well why didn't you tell me that when I first came in to order a new cylinder?? Then he told me to remove the decorative plate for the cylinder and it would fit just fine. I told him I couldn't do that because it covers the rough edges of the cylinder hole. "Then you're asking for the impossible!!" I wasn't asking for the impossible, I was just asking if it could be done and he proceeded to freak out on me. So, I had to return the new cylinder which apparently made him even angrier. He opened the cash register, gave me my money, minus the tax and basically turned away from me. As disgusted as I am with him, I am more disgusted with myself for allowing him to treat me in such a contemptuous manner. I NEVER let anyone put me down the way he did. I knew it wasn't going to be a good transaction from the moment I stepped into the shop and he wouldn't even acknowledge me with a greeting. So, if you're reading this Mr. Locksmith, just know I will pass this around to everyone I know. Next time I will find a locksmith who enjoys informing their customers rather than berating them.

Had an old lock on my front door that I lost a key too. Thought this would turn into a home improvement nightmare. They solved my problem within ten minutes. They were very helpful and courteous too. I will go there again if I have any lock problems and would recommend them to anyone.

Called after calling a couple of other places that came up first on my Google search (One was unresponsive and the other said it would be about 4 hours until they could get to us). They got here within 15 mins and the guy that came was super professional and friendly. Highlight was that we got our keys back But, I know who to call should this happen again! I called Professional Lock & Safe when I locked myself out of my house. The locksmith Chris arrived within 20 mins of me calling. He went above and beyond to get me back in. Definitely recommend.

Ryan was courteous even listening to my BS. . He also was very fast and knew what he was doing when it came to my 2005 Ford Explorer. He even tried to reprogram my remote starter even though it did not work. I had used Professional Lock & Safe before for my motorcycle. I would use them again if it becomes necessary though I hope not. LOL Mike,You should give Ryan a raise. Scooter (John S. Johnson)

If i had to give 0 rating i would ....called to make a appointment for a new lock i was told they will call me back half hour they never did very disrespectful customer service... i would not recommend this place anymore they need to stay on top of their work
