If I could give this place zero stars I would. Completely unhelpful and unwilling to simply do their jobs. Showed up for my appointment and was told I missed a phone call from them saying that they didn t have the equipment to fix my AC but I had an appointment for my brakes which was cancelled by them. When I asked to have my brakes looked at anyways they said there was not enough time and to come back another day. I then asked how much time it would take for diagnostics for the brakes, to which they replied a half hour. Why allow online appointments to be booked at 6:00 if you won t do the work then?? Why would an hour not be enough time to do a half hour s worth of work??? Can someone explain that math to me???? If I have an appointment an hour before closing (which is allowed an encouraged by your website), I should be able to have work done during that appointment. Overall a waste of time that was met with unhelpful service.

Have been going to this location for years. And I have not had one bad experience with them. They re honest with that needs to be done and what doesn t. I appreciate the transparency. Would highly recommend.

It s Sunday and I need an oil change. I was recommended to come here Eric the person in charge was absolutely excellent very customer service oriented. He and his colleague. Apologize for running late as they were two cars ahead of me which I did not going to be a problem experiences fantastic they were very accommodating the only recommendation I would make us that you had an extra person there on Sunday as these two guys to need some help, but I highly recommend the place very profession I m very caring to the car making sure to check everything

Although my experience was not the most pleasant, I give it 5 stars due to Miguel (Manager). He took the time to not only look at the problem with me, he also took the time to listen to my concern. He explained the process and assured he will work with the staff for a better experience.

Avoid this place. Went in for tire alignment, and they charged me $130. Went to a different mechanic to look at the car and it turns out no alignment had been done. Went back to Monro and they did not do the alignment or returned the money.

When I arrived I was quickly greeted in a friendly manner by the manager. He and his staff are pleasant and courteous and always ready to answer questions. When the work was completed, in a timely manner, the manager reviewed the invoice with me explaining all that was done. Although this is my first review, it is not my first visit nor will it be my last. I do and will always recommend this A1 facility for any and all auto needs. KUDOS to your wonderful manager, Miguel and his staff. I should have mentioned that I live approx 15 miles away but was referred to this facility by a dear friend.

Miguel the manager is a very personable, straightforward, and patient professional. Him and his team took care of my car in a timely manner. The true professionalism came through when he was faced with a billing issue from a 3rd party company that he was unfamiliar with delayed payment. He was persistent in holding them accountable for what was promised. After several hours he was successful and not once did he lose his cool nor his level of competence declined to provide superb customer service. I will be returning if I or my family have an issue with our vehicles. Keep up the good work guys.

Needed some work done on my car. Came and saw Miguel after speaking to him on the phone. Normally I work on my own car but Miguel was very knowledgeable and gave me a price I could not say no to. I don t trust a lot of garages to work on my car and be honest about what needs to be done. Miguel changed that. His crew was even great when it came to the time to get it done. Couldn t be happier with the the costumer service and the service from his crew. Will be back for more future work. Thanks to all at West Haven Monro!!!!!!

I came to get my tire pressure looked at because the light came on what should have been a quick thing was not. I got to the store at 5 just to be told that they are closing early because they were slow. I basically begged for them to check it quickly but they refused because they had to close early. I should have just went to the Monroe in Woodbridge like usually because they are amazing went over there and was in and out. DO NOT go here run don t walk to the Monroe in Woodbridge they are amazing.

I like going to Monro Mufflers in West Haven. They are very accommodating and love making an appointment over the phone. They get my car in and out in a timely manner. Miguel is very professional and nice. They give recommendations and quotes without making you feel forced to get work done on your car.

So, I was in a rush brake change, this place gave me a really quick response and a cheaper price than other places that I recevied the quote from. HOWEVER, they turned my brakes into spongy breaks, my car's break response time dropped. When I tried to explain this to them, they rejected it, argued with me a ton and do whatever they can to not take the car back. They even did not responded my last email.... Simply they are irresponsible of their actions and does not care about the customer satisfaction. + not kind people. If you are reading this comment go to somewhere else pay a $100 more and be happy. And thank me later.

I went in for an oil change with the coupon for 19.99 and ended up paying about $50. I understood the charge for the extra quart of oil but I didn't request any additional services. I contacted the corporate office and was issued a rip-off refund. When ppl are so desperate that they have to rip you off they don't deserve your business. I now go somewhere else where there's respect and honesty.

My experience at Monro is always a pleasant one, the manager is professional, I never feel like I'm being gauged in the pricing when it comes to the repairs i need for my car. I don't hesitate to take my car to this Monro if i have any issues with my car. I recommend anyone looking for a good car repair shop to give them a try.

DO NOT GO HERE! I brought my car in because I had a flat tire. When I went to pick it up, all of a sudden my brake fluid and oil were leaking but they couldn t find the source of the leak .my car was running fine and I just needed a new tire. This place is dishonest and not only that, they let me leave with a car totally unsafe to drive. Absolutely disgusting, they should be shut down!

I initially gave this place only a couple of stars for to an experience I had with one mechanic not performing the service to satisfaction. The aliment was not done correctly on my car.But when I can back I got a different mechanic Randy. Who with no hassle took my car in right away and was able to resolve my issue.Anyone can have a bad day or slip up. Stuff happens.But I really appreciated the way Randy handled the situation made me feel respected and even stayed late to finish the job.Because of a mechanic like Randy's worth ethic I would come back.

I went there today (08/01/2020)and was Very disappointed. Poor customer service, I d like to rate it ZERO. I had an appointment to do the oil change, and received the email confirmation, but when I went, they said nobody is available at the moment. I left and later afternoon received another rescheduling email, told me that they rescheduled the service on 7/7/2020!! Note that Today is August 2020 already! They make plenty of mistakes, how can I possibly trust them to taking care of my vehicle. Never go back there for sure.

This place sucks Spanish guy not so friendly got there at 5:45 the sign on door states it closes at 7. I went there earlier in the day and the Spanish guy maybe Miguel in other reviews told me it would take 30 min to do brakes. I was in the lobby waiting for 15 min and they never pulled my car in. I told them I will be back because I had an appointment and I was told by another gentleman that we are here until 7. Well again I came back at 5:45 and he tell me he can t work on my car today. Don t bring your car to this location the Spanish guy has no customer service skills what s so ever. He s dried and not to friendly. I would never give them the opportunity to even pop my hood. Also they need to remodel the waiting area reminds me of Sanford and son. Don t bring your car to this location:

Went there last week paid 89 bucks for a oil change A OIL CHANGE! What it was is no longer what it should be.

I've been going to Munro since 2012. Good folks. You can make a reservation for an appointment online which is very convenient and helps ensure speedy, efficient service. They are always busy for a reason.

This review used to be a 5 star from me... but after today.. had to drop it to a 1.These guys charged me over 700 dollars for new tires but because I didnt opt into the additional fee they wouldn't help me without more money the VERY NEXT DAY when the tire deflated due to a gash that they found on the inner wall. The very shady thing is we pointed out that the tire had an issue. The manager claimed to have replaced the tire however I feel he may have simply flipped it. NOT only is this very misleading and money hungry but very dangerous.From now I'll be taking my cars elsewhere. TheTown fair close by did somthing similar to this and im now starting to think it's a common practice in the area.
