Brought my car here for an alignment as it s the one of the only shops in the area that can accommodate a lowered vehicle. The service was good alignment came out good. My car is not your average Honda or Toyota. I take pride in keeping my vehicle nice and Unfortunately they were not gentle putting the equipment on to align the car. Found multiple scratches on all 4 wheels, not to mention my wheels had just been painted a week before so there was no scratches prior

I bought 4 tires online and scheduled the installation 1 week prior. To make sure things go smoothly I called the West Haven store and spoke to the employee. He explained those tires are not stocked and will ship them in. I was promised they will have them on time. On day of appointment I had to get a ride, leave work, and dropped off car at 10am for 11am appointment. I returned at 2pm after getting a second ride from work and the car was not worked on yet. The employee said they did not have the tires in stock! I had to wait 1hr 40mins more for installation. They now had my car for 6hrs. Once done I checked the tires. Air stem cap was missing. Had them put it on. New air stems were never installed (old ones still on) and was charged for 4 air stems totalling $12. That is unexceptable. I had that taken off the bill. But this was still a very frustrating experience for me. All the planning and effort for nothing. Wast of time i do not have. First time at Firestone and definitely last

Be prepared to wait here more then one hour of your work time if you're a fleet driver. They will make you wait even though you made an appointment with hertz Uberdrivers. Not friendly customer service the GM said that we were not priority! I have been waiting now for four hours to get work done approval. Nicholas, I sent out an Email regarding this issue! I missed a days worth of work when we have to do our jobs and make 30 rides a week to stay contracted.

Honestly pretty decent guys work here, and when they run promotions they are cheaper than regular mechanics. I do believe they sometimes don t rotate your tires during the oil changes, but I mean a lot of shops do that. Overall, with prices spiking everywhere for mechanics I ll probably be coming here more.

Very bad at estimating (or just being honest to start with) how long things will take, no repairs or used tires, they just want you to buy their retail priced new tires but the quality of the Firestone product is not very good. Bought 4 new 50k tires here, 20k miles later there s a puncture in one and of course their recommendation is: replace 3 out of 4 tires. Seems like just another dishonest business, which is ironic considering their supposed corporate values around honesty (see pic from lobby)

DO NOT COME HERE FOR EMISSIONS!!!!I have had my car tested THREE times. I just called the state and they said there is definitely something wrong with my car. Now I will be late all because Firestone told me "just drive it there's nothing wrong"They should pay my late fee for misguiding me. So unprofessional. Stay away! Do not come here.

Jake Owens at the Firestone in West Haven, CT was incredibly kind and compassionate and helped service my vehicle even when their facility was understaffed. He deserves recognition for going above and beyond in helping me get my vehicle safe to drive again. Thank you for all you do!

After dealing with my fair share of automotive service centers, I gotta say that Firestone Complete Auto Care of West Haven is a notch above. The guys in there actually seem like they care about your concerns more than upsells. I went in for a rim and tire change, which is not a major service, but they treated it with the utmost importance and care and had me back on the road in less than an hour. The waiting room was warm and clean. I was able to charge my cell phone and was able to listen in while they were working with other customers and truly going over what the customers' concerns were and not trying to push upsales.Good job, boys!

Saw Mill Rd West Haven Firestone has the most straight forward non up-charging staff to work with. We ve never had a problem with them and have been having them fix multiple cars of ours for years. Great place!

I usually have a good experience with this location and staff. I went in for an emissions test and booked an oil change appointment a week in advance in preparation for my travels since they say it's about an hour to complete. Came today for the appointment, ran some errands in the meantime, and 2 hours later they haven't even started on my vehicle. When I asked for an update they said that they've unfortunately been backed up. I understand these things happen, and I'm usually patient, but I do not appreciate wasting my time when I am on a tight schedule - just tell me up front that it might be several hours and I can plan my day accordingly. Also, what's the point of making an appointment? Still a friendly staff at the start, but so disappointed.

I came here for service because I heard my brakes making noise and they said that I was all set they did not fix the brakes. I went to another fire stone and they told me that the brakes needed to be done and they were metal on metal. So this location is either racist and or Lacks professionalism and doesn t care to get the job done.The location I m at now- the NEW HAVEN location is ghetto and poor communication skills. They fixed the error but- I don t want to come back here at all.

The WORST place and the WORST customer service. I arrived with a flat tire 2 hours before closing and they refused to plug my tire saying they had 5 cars in front of me. I was left stranded with a flat tire on the parking lot of a tire shop. Ironic. Never ever will I ever go back to this store.

The kindness, professionalism and helpfulness I was treated with has lead me to write this 5 star review.I was stranded. I had just picked up a large piece of equipment in Long Island and was making my way back home to Cape when my trailer tire blew out on the trailer.Upon further inspection, I had brought every tool except a jack to change out the trailer tire.Bruce and his team were kind enough to allow me to leave the trailer there, and also allow myself and my team to use his shop floor jack to change my tire to get me back on the road.Most people and shops would have turned us away- but not Bruce and his team. They welcomed us and made sure we were safely on the road again!Thank you, Bruce and Team! You made the last leg of our 48 hour adventure get back on track!

Came in for an appointment to check brakes and oil changed. was told this was a 2-3 hour job. I arrived at location at 2:30pm was not out until after 7:30pm. Then add that my brakes began to make a scraping noise two days later. I make a second appointment. I dropped car off at 10:30am and informed team member I need vehicle by 4:00pm and was assured that would not be a problem. I called to check on my car at 2:00pm and was told they had not even taken a look at my vehicle. I came and picked up my car and will NOT ever be returning to this location. This is completely unacceptable.Services: Brake service & repair, Oil change

Should have read the reviews earlier to come to this place.. Too many bad reviews already!! It's better to go to other car repair shops than here.. They say it will be fix in a day and later they figure out some other problem. What is the point of taking to a professional if they cannot figure it out and charge for nothing!! Wasted $1500 and got nothing. Instead, made my car worse!!!!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I went there to drop off my 2013 Corolla for the full vehicle inspection. After the "inspection" was over I got a call the car was ready for pickup. When I got my inspection report back, I was shocked and had doubt that the car was truly inspected.In the inspection report, they recommended me replace engine air filter which was already replaced the weekend prior to me bringing me vehicle to them. They also recommended spark plugs replacement which was done about a month prior to the inspection.How are they gonna sit there claim they inspected the vehicle while CLEARLY they didn't even bother to take engine air filter out and visually inspect it. HOW are they gonna claim they inspected my vehicle while they CLEARLY did NOT remove ignition coils and check whether the spark plugs were new or old?NEVER TRUSTING THEM WITH MY VEHICLES AGAIN. SCAMMERS!! BEWARE!!

Brought my truck in to adjust the TPMS system. They couldn't get a read on the aftermarket sensors and referred me to another store. Upon arrival to that store, I noticed a huge gouge to the metal in my tire. I called Firestone back and asked if they hit something. They said no, but bring it back and they would take a look. They agreed they did the damage and are fixing it right away. Great service! Bruce took care of everything..

I. Went into. This place. To get. An oil change. And break pads for. Rear breaks. And the. Wanted. 900.00 I have a. Credit card they wanted it. All . And. I waited. Hours for my. Car. They said they cannot. Put. Break pads Only. They. Needed to do break fluid. And. All kinds of. Things I did not want Done . Like rotors replacement, and all that nonsense.. give me back my car in worst running condition than before . It runs. Rough now puttering bad now . and they did to another. Customer didn t do her car right either and they blamed her for the whole thing charged her a bunch of money for her brakes. . Never. Going here. Again they never see my services anymore. That bunch of crooks thay mess up your car more than what condition when you had it price gouging. The whole nine . .. I regret going here the. Ruined. My car on purpose.Services: Brakes, Oil change

WORST service. GO to LOCAL SHOPS. Paid lifetime tire alignment. First time done. next time told me to go to the dealer because they don't have the machine. Fixed a tire and had the same problem next day. Waste your time and money. Also they told me that applying for their credit card will NOT affect my credit score. Found out that it pulled down my credit score by 11 points. Total SCAM

Costco was unable to mount my race tires with extremely stiff sidewalls. I brought them here and they not only were able to mount them but did so without any damage to my new (expensive) wheels. I will be bringing my next set of tires here next year for mounting.

Completely unprofessional service, been a loyal customer for years. Dropped my Vehicle off @9am for a second diagnostic and repair. Didn t get a call back until 4pm with zero work done on the car and no solution on what my vehicle s problem is. Employee continued to keep price gouging cost of visit (no repairs were done at the moment, nor did I have the solution to my vehicle s problem). Employee named John continued to rush me away without really helping. Seems they like to focus more on inflating the cost of your visit instead of really helping you. Spoke to John after my visit to voice my displeasure all for him to try to speak over me & then hang up. John claimed he was this location s Manager but I doubt it with the customer service I recieved from him. Take your vehicle to other locations or mechanics to avoid terrible customer service & overpriced services they try so hard to push on you.BE CAUTIOUS DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS LOCATION !!!!

Came in the morning but they were too busy so I made an appointment to come back at 1pm and it s taken over a hour and a half for an alignment and to get a screw out of one tire. Super slow service, they keep taking in cars for emissions and have been fan girling over some lady s old af car so it s no wonder I ve been sitting here for so long. Never taking my car to this location ever again.Service: Wheel alignment

Dont ever go here. Long story short I made an appointment for 4 pm the day before Told them i needed 2 tires taken off and one set put on. Over the phone they said we can do it. I got there the guy says they cnt do it today, they need 5 to 6 hours, when i questioned why they had me come in and booked my appointment he told me it is what it is and when i told him i cnt go anywhere else because you guys wasted my time he said ur welcome.
