Outstanding service! They were able to diagnose my problem on my F150 quickly and come up with a plan to repair it quickly. All the staff are very courteous and nice as well as professional. If you are looking for a good mechanic who will take care of your vehicle, and be fair and honest this is the place for you.

After encountering transmission issue was referred to this establishment while 700 miles from home. 5 days later picked up supposedly repaired vehicle and began the drive home. Vehicle exhibited electrical issues during drive home. Had vehicle checked out and found out incorrect part was installed. Called DeGennaro and asked if part could be returned to them for correct part replacement. Was promised a call back to resolve the issue but never received one. Local MOPAR rep would not help since vehicle was repaired in another state. Home town repair shop also called them for assistance but no response.Services: Transmission, Auto maintenance

I had gone down and spoke with the owner Nick about an issue I was having with my truck, Nick told me the options that were available and gave me the pros and cons to both, we agreed on what was best and he absolutely crushed it with the price. Truck is now running great and it was fixed in a very timely manner. If you want the best price certainly go to this shop. If you want professional service go there because I treat you like family they understand what you need or always willing to help you they don't rip you off and it's a very good company I would recommend it to anybody that wants good service but good people too. I really appreciate the modern technology that they use to show me what needs to be done. Then go the extra mile to help if not sure what to do about getting car repair. They don't pressure me and just making me aware of anything that needs attention. Great outstanding customer service!

Great folks who had fixed my check engine issue within the minute of their estimated completion time.It's always great working with people so timely, organized and fair priced.My dog was even able to sleep in the shade while we waited.

The only shop I will ever bring my car too! The best customer care in all of CT! They listen intently to all of your car problems and address each one throughly. They are super quick fixing cars and tell you what needs to be done before they do anymore work on it. Friendly staff, lowest prices around. Whether it's saving you thousands of dollars, while going out of their way to track down a used part, Degenarro is the best in the business. We have been using them for a decade or so and would never bring out cars elsewhere. As a family run business they are honest people and treat you as one of their own. My family would reccomend Degenarro's as the best auto repair shop we have come across since our family has lived in CT for 60 years.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

I couldn't recommend DeGennaro Auto & Truck Repair enough! After I received an estimate from another auto shop that I was confused and unsatisfied with, someone referred me to DeGennaro. I am so glad they did. The brakes on my car were so worn I was scared to drive. DeGennaro was able to get me in very last minute. Once my car was looked at, Nick called and not only explained at length the condition of various parts of my car in a way that I could understand, but also laid out MULTIPLE repair options for me (along with the breakdown of costs for each). Nick also explained what each option would mean for the future of my vehicle. All of my brakes were replaced and tires rotated by EOD so I could make it to my dinner plans on time. I've never had such a pleasant and transparent experience with an auto repair shop. Thank you Nick and Frank!Services: Tires, Brakes

THANK YOU NICK!Not even sure where to begin with how awesome these guys are. It was my daughters first day of school as a freshman at the University of New Haven. I drove a box truck from Bellingham, Ma to West Haven, CT. About 22 miles before reaching the school on highway 95 I hit a massive pot hole damaging both belts inside both front tires causing them to bubble up and shake the entire front end of the truck. I made it to the school and helped my daughter unload the truck. However I spent the entire time at (Degennaro Auto & Truck Repair) getting my truck fixed. Not only did he diagnose my problem within 10 minutes he also brought me into the shop and showed me the damage. This guy is super friendly has unbeatable prices and treats his customers like gold. He also took my truck for a test drive with me in the truck after the work was complete. I wish (Degennaro Auto & Truck Repair) was located in Massachusetts. Thanks (Degennaro Auto & Truck Repair) for dropping everything you were working on to help an out of state customer out. A vehicle I was driving was towed by De Gennaro Auto & Truck Repair. My experience with a caucasian male named mike and caucasian female whom wear glasses and is petite with a slight hunched back was very poor. He and she both displayed poor customer service and were very unprofessional and disrespectful during the entire process of obtaining the vehicle back to the rightful owner. This business deserves less than a 1 star.

Car got towed because of snow removal. Thats not the reason for my post. The reason is that they took my car @4:30pm and told me that i couldnt get my car until the morning. If you tow for snow removal you should be 24hrs or at least have extended hrs. Or maybe not tow anyone after 3pm. Leave it to the other tow companies that are 27/7
