Got 2 front tires installed, so far so good no complaints. Manager was very friendly and took care of me. I would have gave them 5 stars but it took a little over an hour to do the 2 tires which compared to other shops is usually about 10 minutes per tire. Sure it was a bit of a wait to get the tires on but for the price I paid for the tires and instillation I can t be mad.

Lazy lazy lazy stuff, last time I purchased anything from them. 10 people waiting in line and there is only one guy (doesn't seem to be the brightest). I purchased 1tire online i paid I just had to pick it up from them. I was 3rd in the line it took me 40 min until I got my tire and I would still probably be there cause they have some problem with theirs ipads so I ask guy can I just take this tire and go home cause is paid, and he finally let me go. Walmart check who you hiring

Orlando was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Did a great job. I went to Firestone twice before coming here, and both times Firestone left me with unbalanced tires. So glad I went to Walmart. Orlando fixed the problem!

Still waiting for tires. They said my tires to the store. I have been 4 times already and no tires. They need to make this right!!!!! Staff don t know what they are doing. And have a hard time using their own computers to book appointments. 2 1/2 weeks. Still waiting on tires for my car!!! UNACCEPTABLE

Staffing is always so slow. You will be standing in line for 10 minutes with a rude associate (if you aren t standing in line for 20 mins while they are away from the counter). You can call this location anytime, they never pick up the phone. Once you do get your vehicle on their list, you are still waiting 1 or 2 hours for the vehicle to enter their shop. Got an appointment? That means nothing to them. I have been here before, and am currently sitting in their waiting room. I had an appointment for 10am, it is 11am and my car isn t even in the shop because they had an appointment in front of me. The services at this location are extremely below the level of professionalism I would expect from any mechanical shop. I will never come here again. It is so bad I am tempted to walk out with the tires I purchased an go to another location. Word of advise: DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE.

The manager was very nice and professional. It s a shame he doesn t have enough competent staff to support his department.I left a 1 star review because they forgot to install my windshield wipers while having my tires installed. I was quoted a price for the windshield wipers prior to installation. I informed them the wipers were not installed, I had to go through the entire waiting process for installation and when I was about to pay for the wipers I was charged more money.I mentioned this to the young man that the price he wanted to charge me was different from what I was quoted, and he didn t want to verify or rectify his mistake.Walmart, if your auto service department is that busy, hire more competent and qualified people so the auto service manager can provide customers with better service!

Never ever come to this trashy place I had an appointment at 11 am they had the nerve to send me a message telling me that they would only hold my appointment slot for 15 minutes (1115) AM, and I was definitely on time but they lied in my face and said that they were taking my car in right away and I watched them take my car in at 1240 pm so don t come to this tire spot at all it s NO GOOD WHATSOEVER LIKE TOTALLY RIDICULOUS SO I DON T EVEN GIVE THEM 1 star at ALL BUNCH OF LIARS

wasted my time for a whole hour, if you have a problem don t even bother calling because it took me 3 days to get a reschedule due to the fact they let phone ring then pick up and hang up. Literal lazy people working the auto care front desk. Do yourself a favor and just go anywhere else that isn t waterbury.

I see the negatives and still gave them a shot. Staff was courteous. They did 4 new tires in 1hr. Sundays are slow for them and fast for you. Make an appointment online, it helped. Douglas is made by Goodyear and a Walmart exclusively. Wish my Walmart had an Auto Center.

I just had 4 tires mounted. Walked in sat morn 10am no appointment and was done in two hours. Service was fine. No problems. I did read prior reviews and I have been there when service was slow but not this time. I have been to pep boys and town fair with similar waits.Staff appears new since I was there about a year ago so maybe progress? Let's face it all. We're shopping at Walmart. Expectations of a Mercedes white glove experience should not be expected.

What a terrible experience I had here. Not only was the staff rude, they had the music blasting in the garage with all bays open with the guys outside smoking cigs. I thought I pulled up to a bar with the noise blasting!!! Inside was worse, I reported seeing a wallet that a customer must of just left it accidentally. I tell the two woman about it and one comes around to retrieve the wallet, it was a credit card type with the Drivers license exposed through the outside sleeve with a plastic cover. (There is no reason to open up this wallet since all information can be viewed through the plastic window on wallet. The woman started going through the entire wallet, looking at the cards and CASH!!! I reported this to Management and I was not comfortable with the response I received, so I informed the Police Dept. I walked out, I was not going to dare purchase anything from this dept because I wouldn't know if they might write down my credit card number or not? Lack of Management and or Training. Unprofessional

Drove down in person and ordered tires/made an appointment. Arrived later that week at said appointment just for them to tell me they refused to change my tires because my rims were powder coated. Seems like a question they should have asked originally.Unprofessional staff that wasted my time and money.Go literally anywhere else. I'd rather hitch hike my way to and from work and be picked up by Jeffrey Dahmer then have them do work to my car.

Listen these guys work hard and are very professional. Tires mounted and balanced in one hour upon arrival! Jose the manager did and excellent job checking me in and set me up fast told me my options for the best deal. Ramon the technician did an awesome job on the tires what a team. Don't listen to Ken and Karen reviews online some people are never happy and expect dealer service but these guys still did a great job and it's definantly the best price in town I drive 35 minutes after 3rd shift because of the savings.

Wasn't very good experience, I have changed all 4 tires, and when I came back home I found driver's side front wheel is flat, so I had to visit next day again to fixed it.

Never ever go here!I called them for a couple tires, I gave them the size of the tires and they told me that they had a few in stock and to come on down.I drove 40 minutes (on two donuts mind you) to this place to find out that they don't have any tires after they assured me they did.This is the third time they did it to me

The low prices may draw you in but you run the risk of them damaging your car, and if you are not willing to fight you will get screwed over.I went there on Christmas eve. I was visiting family and my father bought me snow tires because Boston can be brutal. When I showed up, tires were deflated and they said my tires was like that before I got there, no i just drove 150 miles that day and was fine. They ended up fixing it but two days later, I realized lug studs were broken. Went back and their shift manager Ralph confirmed that this has been happening to multiple people. He told me to take it to pep boys and bring the receipt to him personally and they will give me money for those repairs. Even the cashier overhead this and confirmed with me that I was not losing my mind, but they would not value that receipt and said this was a preexisting condition to my car. I told the upper management about this issue, and they said not to report this to corporate because they will just call the store and they will reject it. Terrible customer service, terrible safety issue, and very unprofessional business practice by this branch. Just buy their cheap tires and have someone else install them. The manager confirmed that they are not mechanics, so please go to a real mechanic that knows what they are doing.

I found a split in my rear tire. None of my local tire shops were open so my hand was rather forced as to were to go. I got there at 2:oo in the afternoon and didn't get home until 10:30 that night. The only positive in the experience was that I met some wonderful people that were in the same situation as I was in so the time passed a little quicker. The service manager is VERY rude and sharp tongued. When it was finally time for my car to get on the lift the lady mechanic that took care of me was very nice and apologetic. (the poor dear was as exhausted as I was) So, if you don't mind sitting for hours and wasting an entire day have at it, however the experience was not something I would choose to do again.

They are short staff and busy a lot due to the cheap prices. But as time went on their attitudes fell short and I know it's not the staff it's the managements fault. They fail to get more staff in and because of this wait times increase, staffs moral gets low, and this is causes more mistakes on our cars because they try to rush. I will not go back because a major mistake was made on my car (the assistant manager I think her name was Jossi told me if the mistake was to get fixed I had to pay extra. No thank you so I left with a car that they now made unsafe to drive), and before that I had to wait 3 hours for a tire patch (tire repair) that only takes 15 minutes. I think it's safe to say unless they get more staff or have a very low line go ahead and go but otherwise it's wise to seek out a new auto center for now :(I do miss the old staff especially the guy named Antonio.

Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT go there. They have no clue what they are doing. Went there to get tire checked because car was vibrating. The MANAGER checked and said it was fine. I asked him if he was sure because i had my daughter and nephew in the car. He said there was nothing wrong with it. I went to a mechanic and they said my tire was about to blow. There was a huge lump in my tire. I would not recommend this place if you care about your and your family safety.

I really don't want to even give it this one star. But it's the only way I can do a review on this site. I should have listened to all the other reviews.Never again. Went to walmart at 11, they accidentally sent back my tires that I purchased online. Had to wait for a refund. Had to buy new tires. They were the wrong size. Had to go to courtesy desk and wait in long line for an exchange. They tried to overcharge me. After arguing with the manager what the new tires cost, went back to the tire center. 2 hours later, finally completed purchase and left car there. Returned in a few hours after for our car. Waited again in a long line, then for our keys. Pulling out of parking lot, i had to pull over so guy in vehicle in front could stop and pee in back of store. We will never ever ever use Walmart in Waterbury for any type of auto service.

The people running it have a lack of professionalism and are very unorganized. I brought my car in to get 2 new tires. At first the girl who went to start it thought it had a dead battery. I questioned this and reminded them that there was a clutch there that you need to start the vehicle. I would think if you are any type of mechanic you would know this., or at least have common sense to know this. They lost someone else's key while we were waiting in line. They also dont take people in order of which them come. (There were people who had their cars finished before mine that came in way after me and also didnt have an apointment. The staff seem very unpleasant and rude and are arguing back and forth including with a manager everyone there seems very overworked and stressed out. When the car comes in it takes forever for someone to physically work on it, and when they do eventually work on it it takes even longer for them to return your paperwork for you to pay for the services rendered. I will never be going back to this location again it was nothing but a wasted day and a headache. Stay away!!!

It's worse than DMV... dont matter if you're 1st, 2nd, or 5th.. Theres always a 3-5 hour wait and for a $19 oil change. Spend the $24 somewhere else and get home while it's still day time! The manager kept complaining that all his workers called out and left the place short. Well get more reliable employees!.

Armando or Armanio or whoever the Auto care center manager is (NOT SERVICE MANAGER) apparently walked out mid shift. leaving a line of 5 people to sit by the computers for 25+ mins with no help. Wasn t until Ralph noticed we were waiting did any of us get helped. He was super nice and apologetic, but I think it s extremely rude and unprofessional of Armanio to leave this section and not tell any of his team leaving them to scramble and have to turn down everyone after me because it was too close to closing to take anymore cars. Sounds like this is a good team of employees with an uncommunicative care center manager.

Went for oil change. Was told it would be a 1-hour wait. Left my cell phone #. Walked around outside. Came back in an hour. I m told they couldn t get the oil drain nut off - BS! It didn t look like the car had even been moved. How about a phone call?! Went to another place - changed oil with no problem. Don t go here!! They lie & waste your time!

Bad went there at 11:20 am for oil change I was #2 for oil change..I got out at 2 pm.. because the mechanics where skipping cars.. finally when I got my car I noticed that didn't pass the vacuum so I decided to call the manager, the manager came his name was Nelson..but he didn't show any interest. He didn't ask the mechanics what was going on. He simple walk away

Absolutely the worst customer service and buying experience in years. It s worse than dealing with people at the DMV. They could not care less about appt times, politeness, or your feedback. They are paid poorly to do a job poorly. Not worth saving a few bucks. Don t ever go here!!

Horrible, appointments don t exist, slow service, the only good thing is the person that took care of me and said it ll only take 45 minutes and it took 4 hours because they kept taking cars before me when I had an appointment. Never again

Wow when you think you have seen it all. This place has the worst customer service. Just hung up without answering during business hours twice. I didn t even get a chance to ask a question. Don't waste your time with this tire center or your hard earned money.
