Absolutely, hands down, the best place I have ever taken my car to. I have been dealing with an extremely long ongoing issue with my ABS system that no one could seem to figure out. Dealership was a nightmare and many mechanics said different things. Bob and his team really took the time to pinpoint the issue and repaired my vehicle completely. They also did some detailing and my interior looks great! They even called my husband this morning to ask how my car is doing. (Perfect, by the way). Prices are incredibly reasonable, they are all honest, kind, and knowledgeable which is something you never find these days. United Auto is really a diamond in the rough. I am so appreciative of their services and how great they all are to work with. Thank you all :)

Just want to put a BIG THANK YOU here to Bob and the WHOLE team at United, which has been my garage for quite a few years! They recently took care of my son s car and appreciate their excellent service and honesty! It s been a trying time for us and they were sympathetic to our situation. We were in the first leg of a trip from New Hampshire to Virginia when engine lights came on and the engine of our van began to labor. It was 3 o'clock on a rainy Friday, and we both feared the worst. We found United Auto on Google, and how fortunate that was! We were diagnosed, repaired, and on our way again in 45 minutes! The gentlemen who serviced the van could not have been more eager to help, nor any kinder to us. First class service center! Thank you.

I moved back to CT a while ago, and my mechanic had retired. My parents told me about United, where they bring their cars. I have learned over the past 5 years that the owner and his employees are outstanding in skill and customer service. They don't make up imaginary problems to make money off of. They're honest, and as a woman, that's a rare thing to come by in a garage. I trust them place to be fair, honest, and upstanding. They'll always get my business.

Brought in my volkswagen golf for rear pads and was informed by Bob that i needed calipers and rotors because i had seized them, he informed me of the brand he uses as well as that it would be a safety issue, and gladly answered all my specifics. he had a fair price for the job, i noticed he even fixed my stuck hood that i hadn't even mentioned on his own and bedded the brakes. The brake pedal feel is like a new car now as it should. He also informed me of why my e brake wasn't working. The lady at the front was very accommodating as well, great shop and a good experience.

I got my rear breaks and rotors done. Great work! Great price! They actually checked and confirmed that my car needed them done before they did it. They provided a ride home, so I don't have to wait. One hiccup was right after the job was done, I drove away for 2 minutes and the engine light on the dashboard came on. I brought it back right away. They checked everything and reset the light. It's been over a month, the breaks feels great.Service: Brakes

The alignment of the parts and paint job was not good. They promised to take care of that, and I released the money. After three months of trying, unlimited calls, and bringing my car two times, they didn t even touch it. Now the paint has started to come off on the parts that they replaced. Definitely not recommended if you love your car.

The entire staff of United auto sales are fantastic. ( including Bob and Ann) It s very easy to get an appointment which fits your schedule and the work they do is excellent. It s even easy to get your emissions done there. They stand by their service and you can t beat the price a job well done. Their spine is made of trust! They have never once recommended services I have not needed. They generally don t oblige doing service is not required for the car. Great quality. Very trustworthy. I started taking even by premium cars to this place! This auto repair facility is top notch. From the initial phone call through the final repair, the service was excellent. They drove me home after dropping off the car for service. I received a call about an hour later detailing the problem and a repair estimate. Two hours later the car was fixed and delivered to my residence. They even called back a couple of days later to make sure the repair was fixed and that I was completely satisfied. The repair was true to the estimate and very fair and reasonable. I highly recommend United Auto and they are now the only facility I trust to service my vehicle. I was referred here by someone from auto zone, I have to remember to thank them!. Charlie has the most calming voice and kind way about him. Diagnosed my car honestly, and fixed for very reasonable price. Excellent care & service! Had to get an entire new clutch on my car - took 4 days, but this team is personable and informative and kept me updated the whole way through. The mechanic, Lou, showed me what they repaired and explained the clutch failure to me and also showed me the new parts under the hood. I spent a lot of money but they made it worth it because of how they treated me.Thank you, United!

I brought my Lincoln MKZ into United Auto Sales & service on 219 Congress Avenue in Waterbury, Ct. in July of 2020. I have to first say how impressed I was with them reassuring me that they will take great care of my car. they were extremely nice and went above and beyond to accommodate me from the very beginning.Charlie then called me by the next morning to give me an update on my car. He explained everything in great detail regarding what he found was the problem with my car. He asked me permission if it was ok for him to go further and fix the issue. So he didn't just do all this work without calling me first. He not only explained the issue but asked me if I would give him permission to do the work. I said yes and Charlie not only went ahead and did fantastic job fixing my car but he continued to call me throughout the duration he had the car to give me updates.Charlie is an absolute magician as far as I am concerned. I recommend anybody who is looking for an honest mechanic who also does brilliant work on vehicles to not hesitate and give United Auto Sales & Service Inc a call.When I picked my car up, the inside was extremely clean and the car ran like it was brand new. I am so grateful to Charlie and the rest of United Auto Sales & Service Inc for not only for the way they treated my car but for the kind way they had treated me. I have found my mechanic and will always rely on United Auto Sales & Service Inc from this point forward.I have been to many mechanics in my day and have never come across one that I could give a perfect 5 out of 5 for their reliable top notch work and customer service until I used United Auto Sales & Service Inc. Had some recent work done and everything is working great. Car is running smoothly. Been a longtime customer and bought my car from them, back in 2015. First major work done. Recommend them. Charlie and his team were thorough in the work they did on our Suburban and extremely professional to deal with. The work I requested was done on time and for a fair price. Even better, Charlie showed me the replaced brake pads and rotors and explained in detail why replacement was necessary. I trust these guys completely to do quality work and only work that is necessary!

There is nothing I dread more than looking for a new mechanic to service the kid's older cars. I was lucky enough to find United Auto through a friend and I can say with 100% certainty that I will never go anywhere else. Charlie and his team were attentive, thorough and the price was more than fair. About as good as it gets across the board. Thank you!

Charlie and the whole staff are always so welcoming and kind. They help make sure you get an appointment right away and work around your schedule. When they take your car in for service, they treat it as their own and never over charge or give you the runaround. I always feel confident that my car is in good hands and I leave feeling safe knowing that my car was properly serviced.

United Auto is the best! I would not go anywhere else. I've been going there for almost 30 years. I totally trust them if they tell me I need something to be done. Everyone is courteous and very helpful. I am beyond pleased with the service by United Auto ... it is always professional, courteous quick and done with honesty and integrity. the Longo family has a connection with their customers that has loyalty going in both directions. my family has bought numerous cars there and love to have them serviced there as well. I cannot give a higher recommendation for United Auto Sales.

I brought my car here as a last-ditch effort. It was old- a 2006 Jetta that had been run into the ground by mother and I. So, I am not upset with the actual diagnosis given to my car. I needed WAY too much work done, so we all decided it was best if I just scrapped it and bought a new one. What I am upset about is the attitude and disrespect that came with this final decision. I was called several times while they were working. I brought my car in at 10am and it was not seen until 2pm. They asked ME what was wrong with it... when I stated I wasn't sure, and that a mechanic I used to bring it to mentioned the sensors would randomly go off, the man on the other line openly laughed at me. "Do you know how many sensors are in a car? That doesn't help me at all." I began to explain to him which ones normally fired off at random times, only to be interrupted literally once every 5-10 seconds as he listed off random sensors. He did not trust that I knew what I was talking about at all, yet asked me to diagnose my own car. I received another call at 4:30pm, only for them to say they still had not gone through with any work on my car, as it was "unethical" since it was "such a nightmare and a mess" (their words). As I mentioned before, my car wasn't the best, but I just felt that my voice was not heard by this man. Being a woman, it's really hard to find a good mechanic who is willing to respect and listen to me, so I'm really upset that they didn't live up to the standard of hearing me out. In the end, they charged me $120, despite not doing any work, since they "had to take it apart two or three times," to which I wondered... why did they take it apart and put it back together on three separate occasions? When everything was said and done, the man who worked on my car suggested I just buy a new one... and then tried to get me to buy one there, despite the unpleasant experience I had just gone through.

I have been a customer of United Auto for more than 25 years. The service is extremely reliable and the staff goes above and beyond when it comes to accommodating my crazy achedule. I have leased or bought all of my vehicles from them and it was a breeze. I would highly recommend their services.

United Auto just replaced my starter (which is a good deal of time/labor) on no notice (car was towed there) and within one day. The car was towed on friday, and I was able to pick it up on Saturday morning. The rates were also incredibly reasonable. I actually ended up spending about half of what I thought I would have to spend. Thank you so much, United Auto! I will use you again and recommend you to others!
