Nice work! Guys!I have a Range Rover, Supercharged, it's a little difficult to find honest people these days. They went to the problem and everything turned out very well. The price is worth it.

I had my 2017 Honda Civic SI repaired transmission this Superior transmission shop in Waterbury Connecticut. Awesome people especially Ralph. The owner of the company took care of my sons car did the great great work car run very smooth. I don t know if any other Transmission Shop is similar but they are the best,Great prices , Awesome people I would recommend everyone go to them for your car services! Good luck, Ralph.

I recently purchased a new vehicle with a V8 hemi and had some questions about sounds that it was making which I was unfamiliar with due to never owning one. The owner of Superior (Ralph) took time out of his extremely busy schedule to take it for a test drive with me in it. He heard what I was concerned about and assured me it was normal and explained very thoroughly what I was hearing. He told me that I had a great running vehicle. The weight it took off my shoulders, I can't even tell you. After he listened and explained everything we had great conversation as he drove. Ralph is an amazing guy, he didn't make up problems to get my money and I even offered him money for his time and he refused. Very nice or very smart lol either way he gained a new customer. Honesty like that is rare and should be cherished. Not to mention he really knows his stuff. The crew at Superior transmission is my new mechanics.

We have a 1969 Mustang Mach I classic car that needed a new transmission. We didn t want to take it to someone who had no knowledge of older cars but Ralph and his team were knowledgeable and kept us posted on the progress and knew where to find all the parts specific to our car. We will go back to Superior with any other automotive needs. Thanks guys!

Ralph and his team have the best communication and service out of pretty much any auto shop I ve been to. My car s transmission went right after I bought it, and I brought it to a few different spots but no one helped me out like Ralph did, so that s why I went with Superior. He was very kind & understanding, gave me multiple options to go about everything, and it just seemed he gave me his 100% during the whole time working with me. When the transmission was delivered, he fixed my car for me in less than 2 days. I was shocked! I highly reccomend, very trustworthy and professional place. 5+ stars!

This auto repair facility is top notch. From the initial phone call through the final repair, the service was excellent. Had the transmission replaced on my Ford Escape and everything is working great. Car is running smoothly. 1 thermostat change keept us like a prision for more than 2-3 hours . A 10-20 minutes job charge us more than 420 $ . Please avoid that .! Cheating people like nothing.!

So happy with my service. Not only was my problem diagnosed quickly , but the part was ordered and installed in only a couple of days. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. STAY AWAY! I went to Superior for a simple emissions test. After a simple pass, mechanic Joseph broke my drive window button. I saw it as soon as I went home. Went back about the situation, owner Ralph D'Avino (extremely rude btw) right away refused to acknowledge it. He says "Well all we do is drive in and out. We won't touch windows". His mechanic arrives after 5 seconds and admits they test windows as well. Joseph "Well the window wouldn't go down". Ralph "Sorry but I can't help you". Your mechanic just admitted he broke my button. My window doesn't go up anymore. I was told to leave. PLEASE STAY AWAY. Don't do business with dishonest people.

Wish I could rate them less than zero stars .. Took my vehicle in for simple emissions it failed because could not establish a connection with the obd. I recently had work done and check engine light reset I realize the vehicle needs to be driven a certain amount of miles in order to be test ready . I had thought that I drove enough miles apparently I hadn t. I tried to question Ralph and ask him how many miles I needed to drive in order to test again he was extremely rude and continuously told me to calm down when I was simply trying to ask him a question.. He told me to calm down so many times that I was beginning to become irate when I initially wasn t and still didn t answer any questions I had Again he is extremely rude and just simply doesn t like to be asked any questions.. If that s what you consider good costumer service then go to superior if you prefer to be respected and have your simple questions answered stay far far away from them ..

This business is beyond 5 stars. I could not possibly recommend them enough. I brought my son's 2005 Dodge Ram in which was badly in need of transmission work. Ralph kept me informed every step of the way and his mechanics did excellent work. The entire staff was courteous, efficient and expeditious. I would tell anybody needing transmission work to stop talking to whomever you are dealing with and get the vehicle in Ralph's hands. You will be happy and grateful that you did. Last week I took my 2009 car, 224,000 miles, to Superior Transmission due to transmission problems and very happy I did. Ralph is upfront, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. Ralph communicated in detail about the work that needed to be performed. At Ralph's suggestion the technicians performed a vehicle evaluation which resulted in additional needed repairs which were then performed in a timely, reasonable cost and professional manner. Ralph and his staff are PHENOMENAL and everyone is extremely polite and knowledgeable. Even while short staffed, they were able to get my '03 Elantra that needed extensive TLC in and out in less than 48 hours (Replaced timing belt + rollers, water pump, thermostat, flushed radiator, spark plugs, O2 sensor, heater core unclog). I was looking for an honest, experienced, and reasonably priced mechanic and Ralph and his team ensured that I had the most positive experience possible. Thank you!!

Superior transmission was able to take my truck right away and repair my transmission. The cost was less than I expected and the work was done in 4 days! They got me back on the road in less than a week! I would highly recommend Suoerior Transmission to anyone in need of transmission work. Good people, just had my brake chambers replaced at this shop, happy with work a bit overcharged on labor as i estimated job to max 2 hours labor was billed for 4 hours but otherwise, very helpful took me in on short notice.

Emissions. I went in for 9 am was immediately taken care of in and out in 15 minutes. Was worried I might not pass due to a check engine light from a couple days ago linked to transmission issues. Light was off after fire stone looked at it (no repairs). 2 days later all pass. Be aware emissions is cash only here.

Honestly to give this service anything higher then zero stars is just unreal to me. I walk in get told 30 minutes there are 3 people ahead of you fast forward an hour and a half later and my emissions still wasn t done. I understand things happen however this was because of their faulty system where people come in and wait and others decide they wanna come back later get told 20 minutes and then get pushed ahead of those people who are truly waiting. I will never be back here for emissions. It s not fair to me nor to anyone else who actually waits!

I highly recommend Superior transmission for Emissions testing. This is the Only place I will use. They are very professional. I was in and out in 10 minutes. They are very friendly. I never have a problem when I go there. They are very trustworthy.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. Brought in my 2008 ford suv for a transmission issue. The owner initially told me a price of $2500 for a used transmission plus labor. Then when the work was done the bill was over $4500 dollars because of the labor and some other issues they found. I found the price to be too much! But I paid it because I ask the owner to fix everything that needed to be fixed. They kept my vehicle there for months! Like 3 months for this work. Once I finally got the car back, i had to bring it back within two weeks because it was making a weird sound and was leaking fluid and they told me to bring it back another day because they were too busy! When i brought it back they kept it for over a week and then tried to charge me $400 more dollars and I told them this should be covered under the work they did the last time that they charged me almost $5000 dollars! After arguing with the owner about this he ended up giving me a ''discount'' and only charged me a little over $100. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. I AM VERY DISAPOINTED WITH MY EXPERIENCE WITH SUPERIOR TRANSMISSION!

I brought my 2006 Jeep in for a starting issue, all indications pointed to a bad ignition switch. After bringing it to Ralph and his team he got to the bottom of the problem which ended up being an after market automatic starting unit that went bad and was causing the jeep to randomly not start. I am thankful to Ralph and his team for figuring out the problem. The labor pricing was very reasonable and I highly recommend Superior Transmission to take care of all your auto issues they don't just fix transmissions they fix everything.

Took my 2003 Land Rover Discovery for transmission fluid change. Excellent job Ralph and company! Other transmission places I called didn't want to touch it without me going through hoops. Called Ralph said bring it in I'll have a look at it! Ralph runs a tight ship there with his young crew. They get the job done and done right. Keep it up guys!

They are awesome! They found my oil wasn't the right kind for my truck. The place I took it to put the wrong oil in. They said was real black and cheap filter.

I spent $500 because my car failed emissions test and I wanted to repair it so my car can passed emissions. My car was worked for a week but I drove the car for only two days before the car messed up , I called the shop several times and husband too but we never get chance to talk to him and get nerver returned our phone calls, I am thinking he knew he did something bad to my vechicle. So stay away from him

Went for a diesel emmisions test. They are the only operation that is able to preform this test in my area. I called about 30 minutes ahead and they held my spot in line. I was in and out. No issues everyone was very nice.

Should of listen to the comments not to come here biggest mistake I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE took my car here my transmission was acting funny so they said I needed new one so I got a used one for 2600 month in a half later did the same thing I brought it back they said my transmission cooler line was leaking and low fluid so moral of the story they filled it up and waited till it was low again so I had to come back scammed me out my money when all it was was a leak low fluid and that was another 400 bucks. Zero stars
