Great overall experience. AJ was quick to respond to my initial email and got the car ready for me to test drive. Was happy with everything i saw, but the carfax said the car had an open recall. He setup the appointment, and got the car recall done under warranty by BMW the next day. Setup all the paperwork, financing, and had car ready with plates on it, ready for pickup a day later. Thank you.

My boyfriend saw a listing for a truck online from this dealer that was a great price for the condition, mileage and so on. We live almost four hours away from this dealer so it was a trek to get there but the experience was worth it. We worked with Nick the owner, Aj and other workers who were so so helpful and showed true care in making everything work out. Service was incredible and they even insisted on buying us lunch before we made the long trip back home. I will recommend this dealership to anyone and everyone. We are beyond happy with our experience.

My husband purchased a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD from them two months ago and I am loving it. Ray and Nick are very pleasant and very honest people to work with. I had a small problem with one of the tires and took the car back for them to look at it. They decided to replace all four tires with brand new ones for safety reasons. I highly recommend these car dealership. My husband also bought a 2012 Mercedes GL 350 from them and he is very happy with the car. A+++++

To be honest, the buying experience was good at first dealing with Nick. Very friendly.However, I took the 2012 Audi A8L quattro that I purchased to my mechanic and found out that the transfer case and oil pan were leaking. Also, the control arms and swaybar links and bushings were bad. Plus, it needed brakes and rotors front and rear.Nick told me he'd fix the control arms and the leaks and the center brake light. So I made an appointment with him to bring the car back for repairs. After having the car for 2 days, I'm guessing everything that he agreed to fix was done.Took it back to my mechanic, and he showed me nothing was touched! I was shocked and furious. This dealership puts on a friendly face but can not be trusted! Nice cars, but I'm sure most will have major issues.Becareful when dealing with this dealership.I will be reporting them to BBB and N.A.D.A. with the complaint. You've been warned.

Just bought a truck from Platinum. Nick, AJ and Ray were great to work with. I was cautious buying a vehicle 125 miles from home. Nick made sure that the vehicle was delivered to a garage of my choosing for an inspection. They addressed the issues that were identified. The truck was low on fuel. Nick didn't just add enough to get me home, he filled the tank giving me about $100 worth of diesel. That was generous and unexpected. I will definitely be back.

Went with my dad for a car he was buying. No frills dealer but got a good deal on a good car. When we arrived they were doing all 4 brakes and rotors which they took to do on their own. Thought it was nice that they were looking at details. Saved my dad some time and money by doing that which I appreciate. Nice job guys would recommend.

Bought a car from this place and love it. I had the car inspected by a mechanic, and there were some issues with it that are fixable. This is pretty normal when getting used cars. I took it back to platinum auto and they are currently working on repairing these issues for me. After the repairs I will get the car inspected by a mechanic again and if everything is looking good and repairs are done in good time I will update this review to say how it went with pictures of the car too. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. The workers are friendly and helpful. I'm very happy with my car

I just purchased a car today from Platinum. The name says it all. I found the car to be exactly as described. The entire transaction went perfectly. Nick was fabulous. Within 3 hours I was out the door with my car. Very happy and satisfied customer.

These guys are the best autoshop I've ever used, HANDS DOWN.I recently bought a Porsche Boxster from them, and it was the most seamless purchase I've ever made in my entire life!It's a 987, and definitely needed a little fixing up. Brought it back to the shop, and they fixed every issue the car had within the same day!I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking to purchase a used luxury car. I don't think you could find a better used dealer/wholesaler if you tried!

I wanted to share my Platinum Auto buying experience to address any concerns that might arise for prospective buyers. Having interacted with both Ray and Nick, I was thoroughly impressed with their personal integrity.As a prospective buyer from out of state (Ohio), I worked predominantly with Nick, and I was amazed by how patient and accommodating he was. I spent over a half an hour on the phone, asking questions. He provided clear and honest answers with detailed explanations, regarding the pro's and the con's of the car. Not only were there no "high pressure" sales tactics, but he also strongly encouraged me to set up a third party car inspection for an added sense of reassurance about the condition of the car.Additionally, despite the fact that the car was posted with 100 photos, I made a request for some additional photos of the car's undercarriage and trunk. Nick, himself, following a major thunderstorm, went out with his cell phone, crawled around underneath the car, obtained and promptly emailed the photos to me. Prior to that, he had emailed the details of the Car Fax to me.I would highly recommend Platinum Auto Care to anyone, who is in the market for a quality used car, and looking for superior quality servicing. These are 2 guys, who really stand behind what they sell.

These guys are great! I recently bought an A5 from them. The car was already in very good shape but they took the time to do necessary repairs and address my concerns. They had to chase down an annoying emmissions code that took quite a bit of time to fix but they allowed me to drive two loaner cars while they were fixing it. Not something they normally do so I really appreciated this high level of customer service from a small shop. Seems like the guys are mostly family and friends at Platinum. All super friendly and informed. I'm a knowledgeable and experienced buyer so I don't require much hand-holding but I'd bet they show the same level of care with less experienced buyers. They weren't really interested in my trade but they took it off my hands anyway so we could close the deal. Just all around good guys and a good shop. I've bought and sold 7 cars in the past 5 years through dealers and private sellers, and I would highly recommend this shop. I will visit them again for purchase and repairs .

Nick and others here are extremely honest. I actually flew from Chicago to their dealership because the deal was so good on a truck. I drove it and it was great but it had a newly developed fuel leak. I had Ford check it out and when I brought it back that evening I was worried because I had planned on driving it back to Chicago that night. Nick immediately took charge and said he would take care of it. He got his mechanic working on it and dropped me off even at a local hotel. I was called early the next morning and told it was ready. Nick and his staff stayed late into the evening so I wouldn t have to stay another day. I drove it 843 miles back home yesterday and it was flawless. It is very rare in a used car dealership to get this kind of service and integrity. Nick is now my brother in Connecticut!

Always the best experience when purchasing my vehicle at this location. Nick the financial advisor did a great job in communicating my financial obligations. Ray still took his time to make sure he stayed focused on helping me even though he was busy. They sold me Jeep renegade. Ray was friendly, helpful and to the point. Will be purchasing from her in the future!

I bought a 2 door jeep from this dealer back in October. The owners seemed nice, but I never received a receipt of purchase, I have yet to receive a title for the vehicle. Plus the vehicle needed brand new shocks and springs. I would recommend that If you want to by from this dealer, that you strongly think about if you want to buy from this dealer.Nathan Slobuszewski

I purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper S from these guys a few months back and everything was a great experience through and through. I dealt with Nick and Ray both directly and they are very responsive and on top of absolutely everything wether it be text or phone call during business hours or not. Full disclosure the vehicle had a couple of minor issues but the second I spoke with Ray they were handled with the upmost integrity, they took care of everything without a dollar coming out of my pocket and fixed it timely and well. I have had nothing but a five star experience with these gentlemen even when there was any issue with the vehicle I was provided with a loaner for the duration of the repair on top of a free tow to get the vehicle to the repair shop. Let me be clear this car was absolutely not a lemon by any stretch of the imagination and the issues that the car had were at no fault to Platinum Auto whatsoever. And to reiterate, they fixed it at no cost to me, timely and correctly while providing a loaner vehicle in the interim. Since I have received the car back it has now been tuned and has had many upgrades and has held up absolutely perfectly, the car clubs that I am a part of can back this statement 100% and can attest to the power and reliability that this vehicle has provided even throughout the rigorous abuse I have given it. If you need an honest opinion about this dealership, the service and quality they provide or even the overall degree of the owners feel free to ask Ray directly to give me a call, him and I have built a quality relationship throughout the purchase of this vehicle and just to make it clear I did not have any prior relationship with this dealership, the owners or anyone who worked here, I simply saw the car online showed up with cash and bought this vehicle nothing further.

If I could give negative stars I would buyers beware unethical and do not stand behind their cars!! Bought a car with 120 K miles on it and called them with issues after three months they did nothing the car won t even start it is a complete loss engine totally seized! Do not buy from here

Ray and Nick were great from start to finish in putting me in the car I've been searching for. Honest and sincere aren't words associated with used car dealers, but these guys are simply the best in my book. I learned firsthand as I listened to Ray speaking with an unhappy customer and appreciated his concern about making things right. Nick was great at processing all necessary paperwork and explained everything to me as we went along. Highly recommended. Can't say enough about my positive experience.

Nick is a fake sweet talker and makes fake promises about the vehicles. The car had failed inspection which was never revealed and had a major accident which he knew about but never told me about it. My mechanic found all the details and informed me. Ended up paying 3k, in less than a month after buying. BEWARE OF THESE GUYS!! They lie to your face, take your money and don't help you out when asking them to assist.

I have bought two Audi,s in the past from Platnium Auto Care; and now a Mercedes Benz this year. Honestly, The staff makes it easy to buy. Also prior to your purchase they do a vehicle one over and the works before handing over the keys a hastle free atmosphere. With buying used cars you get what you pay for and for the bang for the buck factor is always there. I enjoy how fast they get the ball rolling also they are very honest and kind people always. So if you want to buy a car that fits you, they will help you and then some I look forward buying other vehicles in the future. Thank you guys from platinum auto care ! See ya next time . . . . *

My husband and I have purchased a Volkswagen Passat 2008 wagon comfort style fully loaded! This place is amazing they have Gone above and beyond to make sure my car is safe and secure for my children and I! Not only is this car in perfect condition And runs like its brand new they also make sure if anything is wrong they fix it right away! Ray and Bes are two of the most sweetest people I know they have made my experience amazing with buying a car! I will be returning to these guys to buy another suv this spring because I know I can trust them!!! This is the place to go if your looking for a high end car and not to pricey!!! After weeks of searching for the right car for me, I came to Platinum Auto Care. This place was clean and the guys were friendly and straight forward with me on what I wanted and what they could do to help! I highly recommend them! Not only did I buy a car that day, they also helped my friend who locked herself out of my old car at no charge! Haha! All in all best time car shopping ever! THANKS GUYS!

I bought a very, very clean car from these guys and drove it from their shop in Connecticutt to my home in NC. There were a couple of critical mechanical problems that showed up on the trip and had to be fixed. After a number of phone calls and emails, Ray agreed to pay for most of the repair bill. To his credit, I am sure Ray did this to preserve his good name and reputation. I am very happy with the car at this point and satisfied with the settlement.

Ray and Nick just sold me a 2009 Benz Diesel. I pick up the truck and on my way home I call Ray and told him the front door does not lock, there is warning battery and marker light on the dashboard, check engine keep coming on and off and the Carr shakes like crazy because of bad tires. I have been promised that they will replace the tires, now they say it is too expensive to do so. They made me brought the truck back from Boston Massachusetts and I left the truck there for 3 days but Ray and Nick never touch it. When they told me to come and pick it up, they did not even fix the light problem and when ask the why they do that? They told me their cars are sold as is even though I financed the Truck. The Law requires that the dealer give 30 days warranty on any car you buy for more than $699, I bought that Truck for $14,999 and they have the audacity to tell me the car is sold as is. I called the Financial company who finance the car and explained to them what happened, they gave me a number to call. This is not fair and United States of America is a country of Law, Justice will prevail. Nick and Ray are the worst people s I have ever do business with.2) Hi owner, the information that you received from your employees are wrong about the mileage. I did not put in 2000 miles on the car. How could I do it in less than 2 weeks, when I am working 2 jobs 8 hours each driving less than 80 miles a day. And beside, they didn t replace the small battery, the small battery light is still on, the 2 front doors still not locked, and the tires are ball not out of balance. Let me tell you that I saw the problems on my way home immediately after I picked up the car and when I called, Nick personally told me that I didn t have to worry about it, bring it back on Sunday and they will get it fixed, after I gave them the money, the receipt the bogus receipt they show you, they told me because I wrote a note in it, I will not have the right to have a copy of it. This is the worst experience I ever had in my life. After our conversation this afternoon, if you are really serious about fixing the problem, since you said you were not involved on the deal, I will consider after the problem is resolved. And please, don t tell me I put 2,000 miles on the car in less than 2 weeks because I didn t bought the car for Taxi or Uber but my personal use and don t you tell me nothing about warranty because I told them about the problem before and the first day after I picked up the vehicle and I have been promised that it will be fixed.

I purchased a vehicle from them, Ray and Nick were very nice to deal with and are men of their word. They have a nice European and foreign used car inventory. I would definitely purchase another vehicle from them!!

Great place great service the owner Nick has great cars and is a good dude . He takes good care of ppl and there vehicles I recommend any one to come buy a vehicle from Platinum Auto Care . Still fairly new to the area (2 years), and let's just say the car-buying experience is a lot different up here than back in the Midwest. Went to a wholesaler, and that place was a zoo. Went to bigger dealers and just didn't get a good vibe; I didn't really "connect" with the salespeople, even after explaining exactly what I wanted, not to mention there weren't many good deals nearby for the car I was looking for.At Platinum Auto, I got both: friendly, helpful sales people and a good deal. It's a small place, but they're thorough yet efficient, and really good about breaking down all the expenses (and not adding on any). Definitely recommend this place (and wouldn't recommend many others in the area).

#1 DEALERSHIP in WATERBURY PERIOD. I stopped at Platinum Auto i did talked to Ray & Nick and they approved me for a loan and my credit is bad, I end up purchasing AUDI A8 and i absolutely LOVE IT. The staff is professional, honest and trustworthy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLATINUM AUTO BECAUSE THEY CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS & THEY TRUSTWORTHY.

Terrible dealership. Nick and Ray are crooks. Once they get your money, they don't care about anything. Looks like a lot of their cars are lemons but exterior looks nice so people get fooled. Beware and don't buy from platinum auto. Spend a little more and get your car from a trusted place
