I visited here for an emissions inspection. It cost $20 and could be paid with cash or card. The service was relatively quick and efficient. The inspection could be viewed on a screen located in the waiting room, so all actions can be seen as the inspector inspected the car. I highly recommend this location for quality work!

I ve been doing business with Model garage for years. By far the most trusted and reliable repair shop in Waterbury. If you want your car fixed right the first time at a reasonable price then this is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Model is Really one of the most honest mechanic shops I ve been too. Oxymoron I know but seriously the 3 years I have been dealing with them it s has been nothing but a pleasure. They tell you exactly what can and can t be done and will recommend you to another honest shop if need be will would recommend to anyone

Very very expensive but they r honest people that will fix your car.....unless u know someone else that is cheaper .I do have a question though......I brought my car to them and they looked for the coolant leak like I asked but when they gave me my car back there was a problem......my drivers side door handle wouldn't work.They told me to schedule an app to fix it ,so at that app they called and told me the handle was rotten and I had to pay 85%of the cost. I did not agree but had to pay,,,,,What should I have done???

Very nice staff. For emissions, just pull up and line up in the designated area, and wait in your car until it's your turn. When you're up, you can wait in the waiting room. Pretty quick and painless process, and mechanic knows how to drive stick well. Will be back with all my cars.

Outstanding! Was traveling through and experienced trouble with front wheel. I called to see if they could help. Guy said you re traveling through? I ll try to free up a lift . It took me 10 minutes to get there. When I pulled in, they freed up a maintenance bay and pulled my truck right in. Diagnosed issues immediately.

Had to take my car for Emissions... went to Model Garage on Thomaston Ave... the mechanic William was awesome. He helped me to get my emission to pass. fast and easy service. Would deffo recommend visiting for service. Thank u so much

Had to do emissions. I went early in the morning. 10 minute wait. I sat in the waiting room...very clean. There was a screen showing the mechanic running the test. Was there for less than a half hour start to finish.

This is probably the best mechanic shop I've ever been to. I always get treated well, I'm always informed of what's going on with my car and i always know a ballpark price before any work is done. I've been here 4 separate times for different issues (brakes, gaskets, wheel hubs) and each time I've left spending less that what I was told it might be. The mechanics are super friendly and are willing to speak with you if you have questions.If I ever have a car again and it needs work, this is where I'm bringing it.

We have been so happy with their services! They are fast, excellent and well priced! Not only have my husband and I regularly used them for their repair services, but we have bought several cars from them as well. Even when car problems loom, we don't worry because we know we have the best working on it. Everyone there is AWESOME!!!!!!

The staff was tremendously courteous and helpful. We were traveling through to New England from NC and suffered a busted radiator. They saw us quickly, made the repair and got us back on the road for a very reasonable price.

Quality of work is much higher than other shops in the area. Its nice to have a place that is trustworthy and straightforward with what needs to be done and what doesn't.Definitely recommend giving Model Garage a chance, you won't be disappointed!

Fantastic company. We are an HVAC company that needs almost instantaneous service if one of our trucks go down. Model Garage has given us outstanding service continually with incredibly fair pricing.You will not go wrong with this repair shop.

My family and I have gone here forever because they are trustworthy and do great work! You can count on them to tell you the truth and not do unnecessary repairs if you don't need it. I would never go anywhere else if I wasn't moving out of Waterbury.

by far the worst auto shop i have been to. my boyfriend was told to drop off the car at 8am so it would be the first one. at 2 we called and his car was still sitting there. all that time and nobody took a look to see what was wrong with the car. then charge us 100$ for NOTHING ! because nothing was fixed and they took forever to look at it. never going back.
