This Meineke location is part of the community of cheapskate in waterbury CT, basically a gang! They act like they've never seen a Hummer H3 before, Every mechanic shop I went to, made me suffer in this town (even in public parking, all illegal)! It doesn't take a whole year to kind a fix my car, when my wallet is opened and willing to pay(they don't like that, so the town colluded some more). This place is just a store front, go elsewhere; even customer service to corporate couldn't help and they said it's that location who has the say in things. They have my $250 of mines they refuse to refund. They wasted my time for up to 10 days and would have been more, if I didn't contact them about the status of my part, so I requested a refund after them being plenty of rude.

We had an absolutely excellent experience across the board with Meineke in Waterbury and they will definitely be our go to mechanics going forward. Every part of working with them was outstanding and professional.

I had a very noisey, deteriorated exhaust system on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma truck. Meineke looked at the truck immediately, with no prior appointment made, and diagnosed the problem quickly. Within 2 hours I was out the door with a new muffler installed and the adjacent, rotten sections of pipe were also replaced. My vehicle is much quieter now. I received honest, affordable, and reliable service at this Waterbury location. I'm sure the Toyota dealership would have charged me at least double for the same repair. Thank you guys!

My back brakes were squealing and I thought I needed new ones. Turns out they just needed a little lubricant. Saved 400 bucks! No charge. Honest workers. Professional.

First things first, I dont enjoy writing negative reviews. For the most part I enjoy giving positive feedback. I had a negative experience at this location. I took my SUV in to get my exhaust looked at. I was told it would be $356 out the door. I was a bit confused at first because I worked at a dealership and have a good idea of what prices look like. So I approved it because i was aware of the condition. The manager also tried to upsell me on the second muffler attempting to convince me he was giving me a good deal. Costing me an additional $550. I declined because it didnt need repair at the moment. After waiting a decent amount of time, i left and did some research on the cost. I found out that it was a $50 muffler after researching numerous retail sites. I called and spoke to the manager. The one who took care of me during my visit. I asked how much he charged me for my part. He responded and said $149. I told him thats triple the price. He said well its retail and they need to make money. I personally understand that but thats why labor is so high. During the convo, he essentially talked down to me. The fact that my part was tripled in price and labor took one full hour at $150 is insane. I did not like the treatment I received. As a returning customer or future customer, I would look elsewhere before going here. I only went in the first place because I thought they were still an honest company because I did business with them for years at another location.

5 star service. Porsha and The Meineke Team took my car brake service request earlier than expected and completed the repair earlier than expected. The cost was reasonable also. I had my winter wheels swapped to my spring/summer setup, during the process they told me that they had an issue removing a lug nut and one of the lug studs broke even though they were the last ones to install the wheels 6 months prior I gave them the benefit of the doubt. 2 weeks after installing the spring wheels I needed to go to my dealership for an oil change/tire rotation. The dealer explained to me that my lug nuts were WAY over torqued and they snapped a lug stud during the removal. It s very clear to me that Meineke s mechanics are improperly installing wheels and over torquing the lug nuts. They are responsible for two of my studs breaking. I will not be returning because of this. Shame

Very professional staff and great explanations by front office of what was going on with my car. They explained the time frame expectations and kept me informed throughout the day. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Horrible I went in at 9:30am for an alignment and the guy at the desk told me to come back at 12 and I did and waited three hours wellMy truck sat in the parking lot the whole time. I could have went to someone else who had more professionalism and who actually would look At my truck to see what was the problem was.

I made an appointment the night before online. I took the day off ; I got there just as they opened. They were very hospitable and they were able to locate and resolve my car problems the same day. They even helped me with payment options for the work done. Today I came here for my first time and the D.M., Derrick, has been very helpful and provided the best service he could in my situation in particular. I would highly recommend this auto care center to many people. Great mechanics as well

Best customer service ever. What a great guy assisted me today. Im totally amazed by his behaviour. It s not that they didnt charge me anything only, the way they were concerned about my safety, and provided a fix to my tire for me to reach home safely, is what surprized me. No matter how much they charge, this behaviour is very rare! I loved it. I will go there again and again and I would recommend everyone near me to go there. I tried multiple times to pay them something and they politely refused all the time. My tire was dead and it needed proper replacement. They didnt have in stock, but what they did was no less than 10/10.Bless you!Service: Tires

I had the worst experience i always go to waterbury location but this time it was bad with this new guy with long hair. He charged us more than what he claimed of doing to our car. Just lied to husband face

I ordered parts on January 4th and I had to call the company myself today January 13th to know if they had it, then they lied and said they texted and called me about, but I did not receive anything, nor did they tried to contact me. I know for sure I will report this location to corporate for their rudeness.

The service was OK but the prices are crazy wanted over $1000.00 for brake job.. sayid they don t cut rotors so had to replace all four that s crazy will never use again.

Amazing people work here. Going to the mechanic can always be tough but it's easier when you have people who actually care. Saved my wallet and my ride.I want to thank Deric and everyone at Meineke. I will definitely be back.

So this Morning went to Meineke to just ask a question , store manager / receptionist Derrick was super nice and helpful . Horrible. Normally I have great service here, however today I get to my scheduled appt @ 2p only to be seen @ 4:16p for an hour of labor. Then after I told staff I wanted to leave they told me I couldn t because they had started working on my car. I appreciate the way John at meineke doesn t try to sell you things you don t need. Also they are very respectful, and honest about what s wrong with your car and what you need to fix. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is on a budget.

I was there on time for my appointment. After waiting for an hour and 10 minutes outside because inside was extremely cold and I have a child. I went inside to check for the status of my appointment. Waited another 10 minutes and the front desk receptionist was nowhere to be found. I have to call using my cell to let them know I was leaving. The receptionist then told me it was my fault she forgot about me because I took the keys. Keys she game me herself to wait in my car since it was so cold inside. Never again will go there.
