I went in to get four new tires the older white guy really wasn t helpful and didnt want to quote me on the cheapest medium and most expensive tire for my car but was told they wouldn t all be the same and that doing the quotes was a lot of work and too hard the told me no matter what tire I get the wear is the same which I understand but I have a high performance car I want high performance tires.. if you are looking for cheap tires and not a lot of customer service this is the place other wise Tony s tires got my quotes and now I m in really good tires for a really good price

June 2023 - Thanks to Joe's Tire Shop for fixing my tire. I was so surprised to find my car had a flat tire one morning. Taking the tire off to bring to Joe's, he showed us I drove over some loose screw that was dead center in the tread. Repaired in an hour and as good as new.#Joe's Tires has serviced area Waterbury people since the 1940's. Located on the west side near the Colonial Plaza they're busy every day. A large inventory of tires gives buyers their choice and what they don't have they can order, like a size that isn't standard for the vehicle specifications on your car made by the manufacturer and used on the entire line. Going a tad larger, the tires ordered for my car was placed with the owner Rich the day before, came in the next morning and were on within the hour and a half they predicted after our arrival. We had lunch in a plaza restaurant while we waited.Excellent service and job by the technicians with balancing the new tires, as well. They also do brakes and struts here. A fifty dollar coupon was available from the brand chosen with the purchase of four tires. What a deal! Enjoyed the smooth ride home.

I cannot tell you how happy I am with my experience at Joe's Tire Shop today. I don't understand why Google posted negative reviews first when the overwhelming comments were outstanding. I recently moved to Waterbury and my experience with one of their competitors was not great. The prior alignment ruined my tires. Joe's Tire had me in and out in less than 2 hours with two new tires, the older ones rotated to the rear and a 4-wheel alignment - all for the best price I've gotten in a long time. Kudos to Jamie and Richard - very professional and knowledgeable. They have a new customer in me.

Fantastic experience. Went there with a leaking tire. Turned out to be a valve core which they diagnosed and fixed at no charge!! Customer for life!!!!!!

Traveling from North Carolina and had a front tire start to separate. Called Joes and asked if they had a tire to fit our large vehicle. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were back on the road within 30 minutes.

Rough service. Every time I come here either they are too busy and not able to fix my tires or have to make an appointment days ahead Really? A flat on a tire can t wait 1-3 days. At first to me it was a 1 off, but now it seems like my business is not appreciated. I buy my tires and have them installed in this shop for the past 3 years. I think it s time to shop around for a better service provider.

Place is terrible, owner/manager is rude, way over priced and they do horrible work. Went somewhere else to get a brake job after they performed previous brake job with inferior parts! Brakes, rotors (new) caliper failed after 23k miles, don't know how these guys are in business, dinosaurs! I would avoid at all costs, but unfortunately place always seems busy, I feel for sorry for there customers.

Not sure how this how place got a 4.4 rating... maybe they paid for fake reviews or maybe somehow they improved. I went in because one of my wheels was making a noise. After several hours and an inspection later, I was advised that my transmission was shot and causing the noise and they didn't do that kind of work here. I paid a mechanic to check my transmission and explained the noise. 15 minutes later he hands me 3 lug nuts that had broken off and replaced them... noise gone. I'm glad that my mechanic helped me with my TIRE issue that Joe's TIRE SHOP said was my transmission. They didn't set a good first impression for me at any level with such a careless handling of a potential disaster down the road. Could have cost me or others their lives.

2004 Ford Explorer: I called for pricing to mount 4 tires I all ready have and wheel alignment for shaking vehicle. Was quoted $160 for all four tires to be mounted. $6 for each part left behind for disposal. $109 for wheel alignment and there is taxes.. Said bring the car in the morning and pick up later in the day. (Would never want to see what you are doing so nothing comes up broke in a month).Anywhoooo I called over to town fair tires they gave me appt and price. For 4 tires to be mounted & balanced it s $91. $22 per tire can t beat that..Joes tire shop shame on you to be serving the local community and over charging us at the same time.. People are coming to you without doing research or last minute jobs and you reaching with the prices and the peopke don t even know.FYI: call around get quotes just because their local don t me it s for you

I bought 4 brand new tires for only $669.00; $200.00 cheaper than what I paid for 4 tires 3 years ago... I am happy with this purchase; I hope I can get a similar deal when I replace the 4 tires on my 05, Dodge Dakota (they don't need changing now tho, they're good for another 2-3 yrs, they still look brand new); I know how to read the manufacturing numbers on the tires... I was sure to let him know that I wasn't interested in buying tires that been on the shelf for years dry rotting. I'm satisfied with my purchase.

I was visiting CT from TX and fit a flat. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful they were to me. Originally they said it'd be about 3 hrs but I think they felt bad for me and did it within an hour. They were fabulous and I highly recommend them.

It's a pleasant place to have your tires fixed. They always smile and listen attentively to your needs. If your tire problems are minor, they sometimes let you leave without taking a dime. No wonder, people of every income level head to Joe Tires. I have known them for years and tested them for years and I have never been disappointed, at least thus far. If you have any tire issues, don't hesitate to go there. I love you guys.

Love Joe's - My Husband got a great deal last year on four tires so I figured I would try them first when my ' Low Pressure Warning' light came on. They checked & patched my tire in under 30 minutes while I was on my lunch & did it for a great price as well!! Great customer service, will always use for any tire issues again!

Second time coming here. Zero complaints. Called for 2 new tires, saw me right away. Friendly staff. No pressure to buy more expensive products/services. In and out in a timely fashion. Highly recommend!

First time going here today...very pleased. Prices are low, but more importantly they're super honest. They don't try to sell you garbage you don't need. Steering wheel was shaking all of a sudden and it turns out my tires needed rebalancing. Issue was taken care of in 15 minutes!

I've bought a couple of sets of tires from Rich. I've found Rich to be excellent to deal with. Prices are very competitive. He stocks or can get what I'm looking for quickly. Service is fast and friendly.Give these guys a shot and support your local small business!

I noticed if u were someone of a certain color u were treated differently. I didnt like it and i was over charged. Because i called the next day for the price on the same tires 30 dollar difference. The guy that waited on me wasn't friendly at all. Sad world. I wouldnt send anyone there ever.

Got a battery installed and in and out in about 10 min tops! Great price for the battery installed with. Good name brand. My family loves Joes here so i gotta put my good word on it.Only thing is i had a subwoofer Amp installed to the battery and it was not hooked back up properly. Small issue as its something i installed myself.(Battery was cheaper having installed than to buy.)

Great Service! Not only did I get the best deal on my tires, but later, on 2 different occasions (slow leak due to a nail and a faulty valve stem), Joe's Tire Shop got me fixed up and out the door in less than 15 minutes! Thanks Rich and the rest of the crew!Mark (2009 Ford Explorer)

Joe's is honest, fast and reliable.Recently, another shop recommended that I replace my two back tires for a considerable amount of money. I had previous dealings with Joe's (all positive) and took my car there for a second opinion. The service technician at Joe's Tire Shop checked my tires and declared them in fine condition. Joe's could have profited off of my situation, but chose not to in the interest of honesty and long-term business.Highly recommended!

Called and spoke to Rich and discussed tires, options, and pricing. Scheduled an appointment for the next day service. Rich and his crew took very good care of me in a nice quiet - relaxed fashion (no games - all service). Thank you and I will return!
