Had a really great experience with these guys. I was making a long drive from TN to MA when my trusty old Toyota wagon started showing signs of either battery or alternator failure. I called while driving, and Adam was able to start troubleshooting with me over the phone. When I arrived, Adam was immediately helpful, got my car in the garage right away, had his mechanics diagnose the issue, and had parts ordered from the warehouse right away. Turned out it was a failed tensioner for the alternator belt, so the mechanic was able to promptly replace the tensioner and belt, and get me back on the road with it a couple hours of my arrival. Adam was very courteous and helpful, as was everyone I interacted with at this location. I m really grateful for the help, and can definitely recommend this garage based on my experience.

Their check engine light machine is very good. I just don t like the website you make an appointment than you get a confirmation email and you get to the place and they can t take you because there is only two people but why is the system letting you make an appointment and why they not calling to tell you they can t take you I lost my time. And I always come here but never again.

Terrible service, I paid $1045 for 4 gaskets to be replaced on the intake manifold and two hoses. The gaskets were not replaced and instead Firestone used blue rtv(silicone) after charging me $200 for gaskets. Then there was no transparency, ultimately the car was there for 8 days with a different answer from everyone. When I picked up the car it had a vacuum leak(they didn t tighten a bolt on the manifold and the leak was obvious as the car whistled and ran terrible) and 3 weeks later started leaking again. When I brought it back I was told they couldn t fix it. I had to go to another shop and spend $700 more as Firestone won t refund it. When I contacted corporate I was called the next day by the manager at this location who said to just call him directly next time not to call corporate. Too me it seems he was irritated that his boss was contacted but I don t really care, all in all I should ve went to another shop to begin with, don t go here they have no knowledge, no help, and overall you d be better paying $700 more at another shop because right now I m almost $2000 deep anyway and overall three weeks in too a 4 hour job because Firestone.

The battery that was put into the car was the wrong size, it was so undersized, that the hold down clamp could not retain the battery. I had to bring the car back and demand the proper battery installed, they did not apologize, only rationalized, and stated that the battery they put in was what the computer stated was acceptable. They admitted that they should have tried to tighten the battery down.

I waited for 3 hours for them to do diagnostics for a check engine light only to be told that I have to bring it to the dealer. Then they charged me $140 for that piece of advice. Wasted a whole afternoon there.

Made an appointment for 4 new tires. I was here on time. Waited 20 min for them to pull my car in. Waiting room has an overrun garbage can next to the seat.

Ray and team do a great job. I drive 30 minutes to this location because their work is done promptly, their techs are excellent and their parts are genuine oem. I drive a fleet vehicle and can go anywhere. Five out of five stars highly recommend

I can see why this location is a 3.7 rating. I went in yesterday for a wheel balance and was given a flat rate price of $114.89. I told them no problem. They went ahead and took one tire off my truck and came back to me saying since you have 28 screws it will be an additional half hour labor charge because it s more work so I started explaining to Adam their manager that it s a flat rate price why would I get up charged for that? Adam says our tech can do another job that is worth more to us than your job from that moment on I knew I wasn t going to win with them. He then says price is like an oil change because it may take more quarts so more money .like come on Adam get it together oil change states price may change because of more quarts being added A wheel balance is a wheel balance and Firestone charges FLAT RATE PRICE for that job!! He goes on to tell me I m not going back and forth with you, I ll just take your truck down now and get it out I then call Firestone customer service and explain to them what s going on while I was still at the store she calls and talks to Adam again and now he s trying to cover up his mess by telling customer service he offered me a $20 up charge instead of the $70 half hour labor charge. AGAIN FIRESTONE HAS A FOAT RATE PRICE FOR WHEEL BALANCE!!! I now talk to Adam and ask him how do you just look at customers and lie straight to their face? Not once have you mentioned a $20 charge instead of $70 he literally was robbing me. At this point we are at the garage section and one of his technicians says ay you guys are making too much noise over here like my friend do you not work in a garage where your working with machines all day and noises? Smh in the end I tell Adam I will be speaking with his district manager and he said I m not worried about it I m not scared, they can t do anything about it anyways so all in all customer service was absolutely trash, they tried robbing me blind, and I m still wondering where I have 28 screws in my one rim and tire . I will post an update on this experience when I speak with the district manager. Adam needs to be retrained. He s not cut for customer service or managing that place.

The service was quick for wheel alignment. We had an appointment for the following day but we really needed it done earlier. They took the car and was out about 45 minutes later. It was a Sunday.

Bad experience. Had oil change done on my audi s4 and they stripped out my oil pan. Had to have a new oil pan installed by audi for $800. Then they dodged me after showing up with the bill a few times. I'd never go again and am reviewing so others know. Simple job but somehow they messed it up.

I went for a tire rotation, oil change, and a diagnose due to traction control, abs and service awd lights on my dash. The manager stated it will be a $1500 repair to get the codes off due to worn tone rings in my rear axles, which need to be replaced. I asked how did he find that to be the issue and he said,"we have a machine that tells us." Little did he know I already had my vehicle diagnosed and it was a wheel speed sensor. I knew nothing was wrong with my tone rings or axles so I told him to just put the wheel speed sensor in. Sure enough, all lights were off the vehicle after the wheel speed sensor replacement. They proceeded to do my oil change. Then they told me I needed to pay $122 for new lugnuts because they couldn't get the stock lugnuts off. I thought that was unreasonable and as a certified shop who works on vehicles, unacceptable not to be able to do such a simple service. They didn't do my tire rotation and I believe this is retaliation from the manager because I was right and he was wrong about the repairs, and he wasn't able to charge me for services that didn't need to be done. In the end when it came time to cashout he wasn't even professional enough to come and cash me out which was odd because he checked me in and was the employee who kept giving me updates. Do not get robbed by this manager running this establishment, go elsewhere.Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Paid for their Diagnostic Service ($100) which indicated oil pressure switch replacement and oil change ($240). This did not fix the problem. After two days, I was not confident with their ability to fix the problem, so received a second opinion at another garage. Turns out, Firestone installed the oil switch incorrectly and misdiagnosed the problem. Firestone is refusing to offer any refund for their errors.

I needed a headlight changed so I made an appointment. They got me in the same day and in a timely manner. After a courtesy check, it turns out I needed a lot of bulbs changed. They didn't have one of the ones I needed but while they were working on my car, someone else went out to get the right bulb so they could finish up and have me on my way as soon as possible. Everyone was pleasant and happy. They made sure I knew they didn't forget me and kept me updated the entire time.

Changed my 5 star rating because after years of using these guys I'm done. You wait HOURS for a scheduled oil change. It's absurd. And it may be a little thing, but they can't park for shi+, cranking the steering wheel so it locks up. Tf?! Walmart does a better job ffs.

I would never again conduct business with this company as they discriminate against handicapped drivers who have hand controls in their car. Approx. 1 month ago I had an appointment at Firestone's Waterbury, CT office to have my brakes fixed. When I told them I had hand controls to operate my car they refused to take it in and turned me away (Told me it was their corporate office's policy not to take in/drive a car with hand controls-wouldn't even consider letting me driving my car into the bay) - I immediately drove down the road to Pep Boys, who didn't have a problem with the hand controls, and for approx $1000.00 had them correct the brake issue.

My car has now been there 10 days for a strut. I called 3 times to find out when the part was coming in. The day the part was supposed to arrive I was told they received the WRONG PART. They told me it would arrive in another 3-5 days. I called to verify that and got a ANOTHER answer. I got 3 different answers in 3 phone calls. Then I was told he didn t know why I was given the answer I was given . They are not honest or on the same page. Totally incompetent

I do all the car maintenance that I can because I don't like shops messing with my cars. This is the first time that I have been put at ease with a shop. I have been there for an alignment, a tire replacement and the service has been great both times.

This place is a scam. I went to have my brakes looked at and they told me it was the caliber. It was damaged and I shouldn't drive with it like that and they couldn't replace my brakes without replacing it. I had someone else look it and my caliber is fine and I got my breaks replaced and now my car doesn't sound like it's going to split in half. I'm so mad with this place, I feel like they lied to get money out of me because my brakes are under warranty. I'm never returning

This place is awful. I had a 9am appointment for an oil change. Waited for about two hours and they haven't even touch my car. Save yourself time and energy and go somewhere else. There's plenty of other place on wolcott st to go to.

Garage had a pounded schedule for the weekend because 1. Sudden winter storm hit 2. Current 3-4 (?) day sale was driving more business. I live 8mins away; Mark called me before closing offering to squeeze me in to mount a new set of tires on Friday night. This work includes a free alignment check. I offered to come back one day during the week so they could get out on time. That was the plan, Mark was good with it. A bit later, I hadn't realized we went beyond closing time. The "team" offered to still check the alignment. I didn't want to keep them, but they insisted it was not a problem. The car was there; this is what they do to help folks. Got it on the lift and found the alignment badly out. They offered to fix it. Again, I didn't want to keep them like that. Mark sweetened the deal and offered again. It was my turn to offer... to get them a pizza! But they wouldn't bite (guess they already had one they didn't finish - LOL). They did the alignment and took care of one other small item. The fellas were extremely accommodating and happy to do it. ON A FRIDAY NIGHT! That's good old fashioned customer service you just don't see today. I was really taken aback. Which means I'll BE back when the time warrants. Not for freebies... but for the positive attitude and service mentality. Firestone: Invest in these guys and help them grow. They are worth it!
