Bought a car here a little over a year ago and THANK GOD I got the warranty. Within one year I had to have both inner cv axel replaced only weeks after buying the car, intermediate shaft assembly, both front wheel bearings (which were not covered). Now I just found out my inner shaft bearing is going. This is an insane amount of things to go wrong in one year. Steer clear.

Father and son run business. Both are very friendly and professional. There cars are safety checked and cleaned before your first test drive. No other used car lot does that. Only Earnie ! 5 stars!! Wish I could give them 20 stars.

I purchased a black 2010 Lincoln Town Car from Ernie's earlier this year. Its been a great car and a great purchase. Ernie's worked with me to make every step of the deal flawless and fair. I'll be back again, 5 stars.Edit** and 3 years later I did come back again, but not because the car broke down. In fact it saved my life in an accident. I'm now the owner of a beautiful Chevy Impala. Best car I've ever had.If you don't gotta lotta dough, Ernie's is the place to go.

My fiance and I were in desperate need of a new car,and were welcomed with open arms by Frankie, and Al. They have a plethora of good cars ,and affordable prices. They answered all of our questions and walked us through the buying process . I highly recommend Ernie's Auto to everyone.

Don t trust these guys. I visited here for a car they had for sale. They were nice at first, let me test drive it and take it to a buyer s inspection. It had a couple things needing fixed but the biggest concern was the driver side front wheel bearing being broken. It would have been dangerous taking it on the highway back to Massachusetts in that condition, I told them I d be buying the car but asked for that to be replaced. They took a copy of the inspection report, wrote down my phone number, said they ll call me back once it was fixed. I wanted to put down a deposit but they said it wasn t necessary they would still hold it for me. I called back 2 days later and was told they didn t have time to properly look at it yet and said they re gonna call me back. Got nothing back for 2 days, called again and the guy tells me someone else bought the car. No respect for customers, no hesitation lying, and now I m $100 down on the inspection of someone else s car because I trusted this dealership. They said they will send me a check for it, I ll update this review if/when I receive one.I gave them benefit of the doubt when I saw the bad reviews on here and ended up regretting it. Don t make the same mistake.Edit: After weeks of bickering, being gaslit, getting ignored; they finally sent a check but I would never recommend these guys to anyone.

Frank and Frank Jr. Are FANTASTIC, HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY! My daughter with 3 small children needed a car desperately. I cannot say enough about the service and after service (car purchased). Frank and Frank Jr have gone above and beyond in every aspect after purchase. I would recommend them to anyone!

Very friendly, family run business. I got a great truck at a great price. The owner and his son came in early the following day to accommodate my schedule for picking up my truck and had me in and out in 30 minutes. As for honesty... As I was driving away in my new vehicle, they both ran out, tapped on my window and said, "We just noticed a crack in your tail light. Bring it back Monday and we'll have it replaced for you!" Integrity like that makes customers for life.

I keep coming back here everytime we need a new project. Good place to buy a car to get from point A to B, just be careful with some of the cars you look at becuase after you say it's yours, its yours with all its problems! Check lights, tires, mirrors and always test drive a couple of times. If there is an issue before you put money down let them know amd see what they can do for you!

Bought a car from Ernies in the 90 s (Isuzu Impulse Turbo). I was a young 20 yr old college student and explained I needed a good reliable car. 3 days later engine light comes on bc car had no oil in it, so i brought it back and they just put more oil in and said car was fine.kept telling them there was more to it, and they just kept adding oil. Not too long after, (few weeks) motor blew up and they didn t want to know anything, said my warranty was up. I ll never forget this and the way I was treated. Had to pay someone else to put a motor in it.Make you own judgement of this dealer, however I just felt I should share my experience. Will NEVER get my business again! Didn t want to leave any stars but had to leave at least one in order to post this.

The guys there are great real straight shooters. As far as buying a used vehicle goes they really go above and beyond to make sure the car is safe and road ready When it leaves the parking lot. Buying a used vehicle is always a risk but these guy always make sure the emissions are done and the vehicles are running how they should be. Couldn't ask for a bunch of nicer group of guys

The guys are super nice I will say but I bought 2 different cars first one kept breaking down and they couldnt fix it so they gave me a second one well not gave I had to do a trade in and add a little more but the second one I got which i still have, has so many things wrong with it. Granted they did fix it every time I brought it down but not the right issue ever my check engine light still on. Also i was told they never did safety check because my tires are all balled and underneath of my car is rusty and a few other things. A little upsetting . I have like 3 different problems wrong with my jeep that are serious that they should've fixed but didnt . Highly upset and wouldn't recommend anyone to buy from here.

I had a really good experience with Ernies. I feel like Frank actually had my best interests in mind and he went the extra mile for me. Super nice people, and they handled pretty much everything. I d recommend this place for sure if you re looking for a used car!

These people are liars and extortionists. I bought a car in July 2016 and wanted told it was in great condition and it should run for a very long time. They even wrote it was in great condition on the bill of sale. Right off the bat there were issues. The car wouldn't start in the lot but the dealer put in a free battery and assured me it was a good car. I test drove it with no issues. The a week later I had to bring it back because the vehicle would randomly turn off. They replaced sensors, the gear shaft, and supposedly replaced the brake line to this "great" vehicle. Fast forward to March 20th (less than a year), the vehicle stops driving forward. Come to find out from my trusted mechanic that the transmission is bad and had been bad even before we bought it, plus the brake line has a severe leak. I called them and was told I should have expected this, and that they would fix it for $15,000. The vehicle was $19,000. I reminded them of their description of the vehicle. I was willing to take a less expensive vehicle and get this lemon back to them. They claimed that they couldn't do anything else. These people will lie to you to sell you a hunk of junk and will not actually stand behind their word. Do not buy a vehicle here no matter what. It will break down in less than a year even if you take care of it. Be safe out there consumers.

For two weeks i messaged these guys about a truck, got one generic email back. emphasized i had cash in hand, they couldnt be bothered to stay in touch through email or text despite my schedule during the corona pandemic. went to call tonight and leave a message saying this and found the vehicle sold. in my experience, that in itself tells me theyre not the people to deal with. you can get a run around at any used car dealership, would not recommend choosing them if youre in serious need of purchasing a vehicle. do your research and give a reliable group your business. this is coming from a mechanic. my experience, says they brushed me off because my questions suggested i knew more than the average person about what to look for in regards to issues with a vehicle. good luck. considering most of the positive reviews are from "local guides" i think its a safe bet theyve asked friends and or acquintances to do a little reputation polishing for them.

Check lights appeared after two weeks of purchase. Transmission broke down after a year of driving. Worst experience and it has me stressing over finding a new one while being a commuter college student.

One thing to remember about online reviews is that angry people tend to review much more than satisfied people. A certain percentage of used cars will have problems nobody can predict, and you can t price cars to cover that percentage if you want to stay in business to help people with plenty of good deals. After an employee driving my 1998 Subaru Legacy got T-boned by a speeding SUV, I despaired that I ll never find a good, rust-free AWD Subaru with the 2.2 engine not prone to the head gasket problems unavoidable from 2000 to ~2013. These guys had it. Beautiful condition. True, the struts need replacing, and Frank there offered to work with that. I just led with an offer close to sticker price because I knew this was worth it, especially to me. Frank seems a strait-shooter, no BS, and at least in this case his team knows a good car when they see it.

I came from out of state to look at a Jeep. Clear communication and accurate description. Frank was responsive by phone, helpful in person and fair. I bought the vehicle and overall am pleased.

Well,,, I JUST bought a white Jeep Patriot standard 5 speed, cash! Test drove it, check engine light came on, said they ll take care of it. And they did (so they say) two days later came back on, so I went to get a second opinion, mechanic says it s the computer might need a new one or needs to be cleaned or something. $80 down, next thing won t start. So NOW I m getting my damn car towed HOME!!! After $6,000 down the drain you d think I d last me at least a year!! NOPE! Don t buy from them! LIARS! And cheats!

Bought a what i thought was a very nice car from them, not even 2 weeks later the trany went, they wouldnt do anything about it but tell me theyll fix it at their price for 1400! Thats after i just gave them 4800 for the car! I ended up just trading it in tords another car at another place, good luck to who ever buys from here.

Owners are friendly and accommodating, and I've never met more honest car salesmen in my life. Although I wound up not purchasing the vehicle I was looking at on this visit, I'm still in the market for a used car and Ernie's will be the first place I look.
