Steve G. was phenomenal, got my brothers car off of a snow bank with ease and helped with a jump. He scooped it out and got the car out the snow and back running in no time at all, efficient and concise. Will definitely use Eastwood towing again if necessary.

Worthless toll truck company...They refuse to change my flat tire...on arrival. When I asked the reason why they couldn't change my tire ..the toll man said they won't go underneath my car to remove the spare tire...the lames excuse...point is ...they are lazy & unprofessional...ooh then they called my insurance company to confirm they had completed my services.."Lairs & scammers! Call another toll truck company, don't waste your time.

Don t waste your time. Driver showed up to tow our van and refused to take it saying it was too big. They were called by our insurance company, there is no way they didn t know what they were towing and if they didn t that s on them. The driver was an A$$ and left out driver stranded with no alternate options. Reporting them to the BBB and the insurance company.

My experience was great! Steve was a super cool guy and he went above and beyond to try and help me as best as he could. I thought it was my car starter but he wanted to give it a listen. He was convinced it was the battery, we notice some corrosion on it and he saw the lead was loose. He scraped off some of the corrosive material and tried to tighten the lead best he could but neither of us had the tools. He charged up his jumper and we got some response but not enough to start her up. He charged and tried again but nothing then he gave me a direct jump and voila it worked!! My car turned on and he even stayed to a bit to make sure she didn t turn off on me. He reminded me to get that negative charge tightened. The entire time we laughed and talked. We are so incredibly grateful to Sean from Eastwood Towing Co. for so many reasons! Our beautiful red Chevy Silverado is our baby and someone hit it while parked going 85 mph plus last week without breaking even and the back end damage to axels undercarriage etc is intense and the 1st tow company called by the party at faults insurance Kara Motors asked me for photos then said they were sending a flatbed (which I thought best due to drive train being on ground and aforementioned damage) but they sent out a wrecker and I was concerned so I called to ask why-long story short Cheryl at Kara Motors was beyond rude and obnoxious and said a flat bed would do more damage but when I asked why she said they were sending a flat bed then did not she hung up on me! The driver on site was also beyond rude and refused to answer questions so I opted to get another company.We are thrilled that Eastwood Towing took the job understanding our needs and best part is that their driver Sean was incredibly professional, kind, caring, understanding, humorous, and he explained the process and also took his time making sure he loaded our truck with the utmost care and concern snd in such a timely fashion! This place sux. Illegally towed my vehicle as well as mis~towed my 4x4. , ransacked through my all my personal processions in the cab and the bed of my truck.items are missing from my vehicle. Vehicle received over $3000.~ in damage due to their poor towing capabilities. Tried intimidating me when I picked up vehicle by haveing a much larger male employee tell me how wrong I just am even though I was correct and honest as well as curtious. Lied about prices and hours of their availability to assist paying customers. refused to give my vehicle on a Friday afternoon and lied about weekend service, added extra $120.~ Fri~ Mon that they withheld my vehicle longer, lied about payment methods. I was told they can care less what their online representation states of their policies and guidelines. Wouldn't trust this place to inform me of current weather conditions that I was currently in.

If you're in Waterbury and you get towed more than likely it went to them. Friendly staff but they are about their business

Fantastic experience with Steve, showed up on time, great communication, and made the experience as easy as possible. Couldn't recommend more he made things as easy as possible and we were super happy with the experience. Not to mention the tow company we called the night before never even showed up after a 2 hr wait. Trust these guys over anything highest respeService: Car towing

HORRIBLE! I am big on customer service and they have none whatsoever! The guy who answered the phone was inappropriately RUDE! Had a horrible attitude. Did not let me speak clearly, kept interrupting me and ended hanging up in my face. They clearly did not want business today. I called back because that was annoying and the lady that picked up the phone was just as grumpy. Didn't even answer the phone like a business place should. It was a plain hello with an attitude! When i was trying to explain to her what happen, she automatically said and why would he hang up on you. Useless, rude, ignorant people.

I've used their services long ago when I worked at the truck stop. They did good work towing. I called recently for a more local service blocking me in. They told me I should call someone else. The number provided was no longer in service. Not sure what to make of it, but will re-review next time I need help and it can sway one way or the other I suppose!

Basically I went there and they provided no services, they wanted to say they had no evidence of my car being decomposed(towed) there; One of my closet friends Uncle attended this business and the individuals had them waiting for 2 1/2 hours for a service with no help. The supervisor called and abstractly lied and said that was no dodge car at all in their premises. Since they only take cash, evidence has demonstrated that they re scammers and oncr again, calls all of their customers liars. Service: Car towing

Told me.on phone 2 hours for a tow I said ok guess what they never came when calling back to inquire I'm told we are busy and other vehicles are before you as I go on the 4th hour of waiting said see ya called Waterbury towing and recovery and guess what took them only 20 minutes hmmmm

Tim is awesome! This was the best experience I ve had with a tow company EVER! I got nervous thinking that I may have to wait awhile after filing a claim with my insurance, but within 15 minutes or so, the tow truck was here. Tim was very professional and super nice and respectful. He brought my car all the way to New Britain within 30 minutes and even dropped it off all the way back in my driveway and called me when he completed the job. Awesome customer service right there! I will definitely recommend this towing company to my friends!

They were sent out as part of my roadside assistance coverage because of a flat. Got a call from the driver to update me on ETA. The guy that came out was professional, courteous, and fast. Had the flat changed in less than 10 mins. Great, efficient service.

Leeeeegit the best customer service EVER!! From Ronan, at dispatch to the actual driver of the truck - unbelievably amazing. They both were extremely nice - which, unfortunately, is not something I get to deal with on a regular basis. They were extremely quick to get the vehicle I needed towed and amazingly communicative - no waiting, no wondering when it could be done. In the past I've had to wait hours for a tow, they were en route immediately and at the property in no time. If you need towing call them!! They literally made such a less than awesome thing to deal with no big deal!! I hugely recommend them!!

My insurance company connected me with Eastwood Towing. My car wouldn't start. I have never used the roadside assistance before and was delighted! Steve is Awesome! Great personality and knowledgeable.Keep up the great work!

My truck locked up on I-84 just as rush hour traffic was heavy. The driver, Will arrived within 15 min of my call. Even stopped at the bank on the way home so I could pull out cash. Definitely using them again and will recommend!

I requested road side assistance thru my insurance company. They contacted Eastwood. I waited more than 2 hours before I called them to ask why the tow truck has not arrived. The lady on the phone even knew my address without me telling her. She said the truck should be here in 30 more minute...but it never came. After 3 hours of waiting I had to call a different company and pay out of pocket.Service: Car towing

If only they had negative stars to give!!! Seriously guys with so many bad reviews most for the same things you d think you would rectify these issues already. Come on step up your game. All the comments of overpricing, bad customer service, being rude, seems like the same lady in the office loves to be rude and hang up on people not to mention Jim s awful attitude and lack of compassion for people s situations. Like things for us aren t going bad enough already this company wants to make the whole experience 10x worse. And I totally agree with the one review, the guy said it very well..... you guys have an awful attitude and don t treat us like customers, but more like somebody that you did a huge favor for and now like we owe you something for your help, other then paying the bill obviously. Definitely a condescending better then you type of attitude in the air. I m a young driver, owner operator, with a young family to take care of. I m already worried this incident may put me out of business and the last thing I needed was to end up with an awful company like this who over charges on everything and make the whole experience so much worse. These people are crooks and over charged on everything, the times they stated that they was on my job wasn t even true. One example we left the scene after everything was finished around 930 and they dropped us off at the hotel at 10 o clock exactly but the bill stated they was working on the scene till 1047, among other things. Point is they squeeze you for every penny they can and don t care about the affects of their actions on others. Probably assuming insurance is paying so they charge as much as possible which still isn t right. They towed my truck Friday night to their shop. I took a rental car home Saturday morning. Spent all day Monday and Tuesday making calls figuring everything out including how I m gonna come up with money for all this when I m already struggling to pay my bills at home. I thought I caught a break when the people at Eastwood informed me that the truck and trailer was separate and I can pick up the trailer anytime and only pay storage on it till day it s picked up. I think great I can get the trailer and continue to work for a week or two to keep bringing in money to pay for this. So I take every penny I have and put it into my back up truck to get it plated inspected and roadworthy. Then I drive ten hours from Cleveland oh to Waterbury ct. to pick up my trailer with only $150 in my pocket to pay for the storage and get back to work. After I drive all the way there the owner decides he s not gonna give me my trailer unless I pay the whole bill of $2500 and rising. I come up with a credit card that someone loaned me to pay the bill and now the owner decides he won t take a cc, he wants it all in cash so... screwed again. So I end up being stuck in Waterbury for three days trying to figure this out. Had to borrow more money to pay for hotel and food while here which I couldn t afford. The money it cost me to stay in town could have paid a couple of my bills back at home. After 3 days of going back and forth and calling everybody I possibly could to report these people I finally talk to a dot Sargent who talks to Eastwood and gets them to accept cc. So we finally go back to Eastwood to pay with my grandfathers cc that he loaned me, who is with me by the way. Now he gives me a hard time about paying with a cc that isn t in my name. Anything to be more difficult as usual. Finally he agrees to let him pay. My grandfather is old and crippled and can hardly walk so he stays in the truck. I ask the owner to walk outside to get his permission and signature whatever he needs and his response of course was no I don t care he needs to come in, there s that lack of compassion for customers again. I was amazed they even gave him a chair to sit in when he did finally make it in. Took him almost an hour to run the cards and get a couple signatures, again just more games if there s. The whole time we re there it s nothing but tough guy attitudes and condescending tones.

Great service. Called becuause I needed a truck pulled out of the snow bank of my driveway. Gave me an estimated time of 30 mins, showed up sooner. The driver was polite and helped us get the truck out. I know some companies quote you one price then when they get there say it's so much more work and jack up the price, but they didn't. Even though it took him longer than expected to pull it out they kept the original price. Worst snow of the year but I'm glad they were there to help. Thanks!

The night before my vehicle wouldnt start when I was trying to go home from work and I thought it was because of the engine light that came on just the night before. Little did I know that the issue was a bad battery. A young man named Tim asked me about what it sounded like when I tried to start it and he figured out that it was just my battery. Well on top of this I couldnt get into my SUV so I did whatever needed to be done, got in and started it right out. Thanks you Tim for your kind service.
