Avenue Auto impressed me. I had never dealt with this business before until now. I was pleasantly surprised to find how professional and efficient they are. I have indeed dealt with similar businesses in town, but they cannot compare to the service I received at Avenue. Malinda at the front desk was cheerful and helpful I thought customer service was a thing of the past, not so. I recommend this place. Even the owner John made me feel valued as a customer since he went out of his way for me. Reasonable prices too! Made my day .

I had to go to Avenue Auto Sales because my car was stolen and they towed it after it was found. They kept it safe and locked. They didn't do any damage towing it and the women in the office were professional and entirely pleasant.

Right from the very start when I called for a quote the staff was extraordinarily helpful and kind. They were able to put a long distance motorcycle tow quote together in a reasonable amount of time. There were some hiccups about how to tow my bike due to its weight and bag s, but yet again they came through to make it happen. Angel was my tow truck operator along with another young man both of whom were incredibly professional. Got the job done fast and without error which made me happy! The price was great i new it was gonna be expensive, but was definitely worth it. If I ever need another tow while I m in the area I will definitely be using Avenue Towing! Thank you all for your diligent work to get the job done!!!!Services: Motorcycle towing, Long distance hauling

The kind of honest you don't find in the car business. They have a sign hung behind their desks that says "be a buddy not a bully" and I can definitely say they live by it. My only complaint is that I can't give them 10 stars.

Avenue Auto employee John G was dispatched by AAA when I locked my keys in my car, he contacted me to let me know he was on his way and when he arrived. He was prompt, pleasant and knowledgeable. He had my door opened on less than 5 minutes.

I was across the street at a funeral and my window would not go up,so I went over to ask if they can help,the tow driver tried to help and then he got the mechanic,who took the panel off and found the problem.He took his time and not once did he complain about being to busy to help.I went in the office to ask what the price was going to be and he said don't worry about it.Fir now on I'll be going there for all my automotive needs.

Had my car towed there after being pulled over. Melinda was a huge help and very patient with me, especially when I was being difficult! Other staff also was very friendly. They don't take credit cards! So make sure you have cash!

Worst experience I have ever had getting a tow. They were rude on the phone, and said they weren't wasting their time with our tow. Also didn't tell AAA they weren't coming to get the car. When we asked for the name of the company because we were referred through AAA, we were hung up on. Thanks for wasting OUR time.

Old school family business. No tricks up their sleeve .While no one does business on a handshake anymore, I believe I would have the same good result here if I did. Large assortment of low cost cars ($2,500-$3,000) in good condition, Also offering higher end cars as well .Bought a car over a year ago from them. They made good on some issues that went undetected by my mechanic when I took it to the pre purchase inspection.(Even though they had NO legal obligation to do so.) I now use them as my mechanic, even though I was happy with my prior mechanic and wasn't looking for a replacement. Good location, comfortable waiting room, they get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time and their prices are very competitive. (They even "spoil" their customers a little by not nickel and diming everything!)The car I purchased was only slightly over $2,000. They immediately offered over 6 choices in that range, that met the criteria I was looking for- both on and off their premises .GREAT HIDDEN LITTLE GEM OF A BUSINESS.

Great service, fast response, and a more than fair price! I was stuck on a hump in a driveway and my customers were about to come out. John was there within minutes and pulled me out and they never even knew!

I took the 50 minute drive from my house to look at a vehicle being sold here. I arrived shortly after noon on a Saturday to find the office closed - when the hours listed on the website as well as the office door said they were open until 2 on Saturday.Although the vehicle I was interested in was there and looked to be in better condition than I expected, I took my business to a different dealer.

Fantastic owner and great employees especially John the Tow Truck driver. Buy y a used car or get you car/truck towed especially big rigs. Also, fantastic vehicle detailing.

Be careful with these guys they will use old parts and give you diagnosis for work you do not need.Told me I needed ball joints and I just had them replace.Not an honest establishment.

Worst towing experience ever. I do not recommend and will request that roadside assistance not send them to me in the future. I would never buy a vehicle from a company that operates the way they do.

Nothing but problems starting the very next day after buying my car! Bolts fell off my breaks, twice! Radiator starting leaking! And just shy of a month, the transmission started slipping, spark plugs 3 and 5 stopped firing, due to bad plugs and wires, and multiple fuses blew! They are lucky I paid just shy of the Lemon Law Standards, because I did contact a lawyer! Don't EVER buy from Avenue Auto in Waterbury!

On behalf of avenue Auto I recommend anyone to contact them for towing and and for anything else they are awesome people and the owner is the best so make sure you consider avenue Auto before anyone else you can go wrong
