1.Don t waste your time. I called to asked if they can change my battery because my car died and the road side assistant told me to go there the person then asked my why you assume we change batteries I was very confused. I just said the person who jumped my car told me to come here. I told the employee that instead of asking me why am I assuming just simply say it s not a service we offer. I then called another location and they told me to come to this same location because they do. So unprofessional everyone just seem like they are just hanging out on the clock instead of running a store.2. I was leaving out of the store to look at my car and went to bend down and tie my shoe and another customer was leaving out and hit me with the door I turned around and he said sorry. The employees and what also look like a supervisor because he had on a different color shirt rushing to the door yelling at us in English and Spanish telling us not to leave the store I am trying to ask them why they are completely ignoring me! Turns out the guy was stealing stuff and thought I was with him and didn t even address me or apologize it was embarrassing all the people in the line were looking making it seem like I was there to steal when I am over here ASSUMING that I can get my battery changed instead. Simply ghetto as hell!Please just go to the other Waterbury location! way better and they seem happy to help

Idk about anyone else s experience but I had a person help me purchase and install my car battery. I wish I remembered the person s name but it was a couple weeks ago,sorry. Anyways I had a great experience. The service was fast, the people were friendly and professional.

Isaiah an angel with such an angel both are very helpful and polite and knowledgeable I recommend seeing them anytime if they're working hopefully they get a raise for this

Current store manager is arrogant and rude. He is prejudiced, came in the store and told me to wait then turns around to serve people that came in after me and then proceeded to go chat with the commercial department after the fact. Bad customer service, never again.

if you look up the part online and they have it, is just nice in and out type of visit. nevertheless the cashier did a check up to confirm it was the right part so is a very nice customer service.

I m satisfied with the service here! I had a few questions in regards of my wiper blades that I needed to change and a lady assisted me finding the right ones for my car.A young man also assisted me placing the new windshields on my car! He has curly hair, I think his name is Jonathan, he speaks Spanish as well. He was very nice and helpful!

Staff was very friendly, great customer service, and knowledgeable staff. Alejandro helped me my car wouldn't start he ran the diagnostic test helped me get the correct part to repair my car and was extremely patience considering I know nothing about car overall completely happy my car is now up and running without any issues.

DO NOT PURCHASE PARTS HERE!This store refused to even entertain honoring a lifetime warranty on a brake caliper. The employee I spoke with was rude, unprofessional, cursed at me and then hung up.I had to escalate the issue to the regional office to get my warranty. Pick a different autozone that will actually honor a warranty.

The worst customer service!! Had to wait in line on 3 different times. Only wanted to have check engine light scanned. After complaining that she had to do it. She came outside, told me to turn on car. Yelled at me because I turned it completely on. When asked if I could take a screenshot of what the finder said. She handed it to me. Told me to bring it in and they would give me print out. And what did the girl do? She hopped in car and left! Not my problem she got caught at end of shift. Maybe instead of leaving 1 person to check out the 12 waiting in line. This goes to the purple hair girl

Came here to get my front and rear wipers changed, I had no idea what I needed for parts because the rear wiper was ripped off and the nut on the bolt was beyond corrosion. I am very thankful for Angel, she was very helpful and has great customer service.

This is my favorite autozone they are friendly and professional yes busy but, well worth your time from management to employees the manager will make sure your a satisfied customer will resolve ur issues if he can't he will direct you the right way been going here since 2005 never have I ever left unattended or dissatisfied his team is well educated and if they dont know an answer to something the manager always does an amazing job I appreciate that store even if it means waiting a bit is worth my time not wasted I I appreciate their service and very clean organized easy to find what you need they are very professional. Funny and they make you feel comfortable t.y team!

The staff at this store is extremely unhelpful and disorganized. I went to the store to get for the A/C Manifold Gauge Set because I was told at another store that they had it in stock. All the employees acted like they had no idea what I was talking about even though I explained what I needed the tool to do. I looked it up on my phone and showed the staff the tool. After they saw what I needed, the person helping me went in the back supposedly to look for it and never came back out. After over 10 min of wait I just left the store. They desperately need a change in management. This level of service is way out of control

It shouldn't even be 1 starred. They don't deserve not even 1 unfortunately. I ordered a low cost item. AC Refrigerant 134 A. Online it was available when they took my funds. Once in store empty! then offered me a refund lol. Have to wait a few days like we all know. They didn't want to give me a substitute due to cost but didn't think about my inconvenience. I took the loss and still bought one that was 30 something bucks. The original one was the store brand the cheapest for 10.99. I had too for my babies it's hot some days. I'm so disappointed that's not right. Please everyone don't order online without calling the store first. Our economy is hurting I don't want this to happen to anyone else just so we can save.

If i can leave negative stars I would. First I go in give my information and they hand me a part as the one that is for my car. It is not the part for my car. It was for a whole other model car. I return said part and was told they do not have my part that I needed to order it. I don't have time for that so I asked for a refund to purchase part elsewhere. They would not refund me the cash I paid with and then they tried to make me take a store credit card. I said no because now I'm done with this store and just want to get out so I give them my debit card to refund. And it's been a week and still no refund. Corruption and ignorance is rampant . I wouldn't use this store for anything I need.

ALEJANDRO AND ANGEL WERE A DREAM! ABSOLUTELY BEYOND AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUN DONT WALK TO AUTO ZONE FOR ANY CAR ISSUES. I LL BE RECOMMENDING ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO AUTOZONE. Alejandro was more than helpful. I was in a pinch at 7:45 and needed a part. All local parts stores are suppose to be open until 8pm. Advanced auto and oriellys were both locked and closed prior to 7:50. Autozone remained open until the mentioned time.

Alejandro was very pleasant. Autozone, advanced auto, and oriellys in my area were all suppose to be opened until 8. I needed a last minute part to get my car running again. At 7:45 oriellys and advanced auto both had their doors locked. Autozone remained open, accepted customers until proper closing time, and were very eager to help me even though it was close to closing time!

Barbara at West Street location in Waterbury was very helpful. She fixed an error from the Orange location. She worked on the issue in the pouring rain and made sure I was taken care of. She s great in my book. She has excellent customer service skills

I came in to the longest line ever. I asked Luis on the side if he can assist me since I went to another store and paid for my brakes and I just had to come here to pick up and he said I still had to wait in line to get the things I already paid for. since I had to stay in two lines and paid for one thing I will not be returning. It's ridiculous I have to wait in two lines. U should never make a paid customer wait in two lines after paying it's completely wrong.

Thank you thank you thank you to the AMAZING gentleman that helped me with my windshield wipers today.I did not catch his name, but he has curly darker hair and he wears glasses. This company is lucky to have employees like him.He went above and beyond to help me install my windshield wipers (mine flew away today randomly during the storm) and this man did not rest until he found and installed the right ones, while getting soaking wet under the severe rain.Even though I told him from beginning I had no cash he was just such an angel and did his very best to help me.

Today (5/20/21) I visited AutoZone (West Main St Waterbury location) and I wanted to take a minute to recognize 2 outstanding employees that came to my rescue during my visit. After I purchased a battery for my 2008 Dodge Avenger SXT, I took on the challenge of installing it once I removed the old one. Sounds easy right? Wrong!!! The location for this particular battery is in back of the wheel well, and behindthe front fender. So in order to remove the battery, you first have to Jack the car up and remove the tire. Then you have to remove the wheel well covering and after that there's very limited space to work. Thankfully, Chris and another employee ( I didn't catch his name) provided me with some company tools (ratchet and sockets) to do the job. About 45 minutes later I finished the job. I was truly grateful that AutoZone provided me an area to do the work and the tools as well. I was about to return the tools to the front counter when I noticed a huge problem. Somehow I managed to lock my keys inside of my car and all the windows were rolled up. I was so frustrated I was almost in tears. I guess when I connected the battery terminals the doors automatically locked. I didn't have the patience for this to happen at this particular moment. My hands were greasy, I was tired and all I wanted to do was go home and relax and now I'm faced with this extremely frustrating dilemma. I immediately ran to the store and asked Chris and Phoenix for some help. They saw how frantic I was and they didn't waste one minute to come outside and do their best to help me. I know that it's not their job to help me get into my locked car so I am truly grateful that they took the time to help me. And I would say about 10 minutes later, after using this long metal skinny rod to to pop the door open, they got my door unlocked and I was so happy I gave Chris a big hug and thanked him from the bottom of my heart. Thanks again Chris. It's employees like you that go the extra mile and make me a customer for life!!
