Worse place to change your brakes. They intentionally damaged my car muffler (that was perfectly fine) and also destroyed my ABS and Tire sensors to have me fix it at their shop. Dishonest people. Don't go there!

Jimmy is to be trusted. If at all he's not there and someone else is working there at the shop, I can't speak on their behalf. Only Jimmy who does good work on your vehicle.Tammy k

Can you imagine I went to this garage for a Brake and rotor changer I was charged $150 just for my back? Two back wheels The next thing I know my oil pan is leaking I stepped out of the Garage on a phone call And just that time he deliberately put a cut in my oil pan. I have pictures to show advice do not go to this garage because they're going to mess your car up.

Friendly staff and great service, I had a new muffler put on for $100 where as Monro in Naugatuck wanted to charge me $400. Muffler was put on in under an hour. Would go back again!

I came here on Sunday at 1 to put some mufflers on my TL drove 40 minutes and he s willing to get it done today and will stay late if he has to. It s business like this that needs to be appreciated more. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

My interactions with American Muffler has always been stellar. Always above and beyond customer service. They charge very reasonable prices for services that would cost hundreds of dollars at any other auto shop. The two mechanics that work there are very honest about what needs to be fixed on your car. I would definitely recommend American Muffler on south main street in Waterbury CT to anybody. Thanks Jimmy!!!!

After my "cat" was unceremoniously sawn from my exhaust, when I ran into Stop and Shop for milk, American Muffler replaced the catalytic converter and made repairs to the exhaust professionally, and in a timely and cost effective manner. I highly recommend this place without reservation.

Listen I have the option to take my car anywhere I d like for repairs. I always take my car to American muffler for exhaust repairs. They do repairs on the spot so you don t have to leave it for days. The work he does is good and the price is very fair.
