We've been taking all of our cars here for years and have never been disappointed with their work. They are thorough with a diagnosis and honest about pricing. It feels like you're on Car Talk in real life.

We went to Reed's to have a used car looked at prior to purchasing it. The people there were very nice. The man who looked at the car greeted us when we entered the shop and listened to our concerns and the items we had noticed were not working while we were on our test drive. He checked them out and gave us honest feedback, confirming our concerns and explaining how much things may cost to fix, recommending that we may want another car and even suggested a place to look. After all that he didn't even charge us anything even though I had previously discussed his rates. I would highly recommend!

I'm new in town so I asked around about mechanics in the area. Several people I work with recommended Reads and I couldn't be more thankful they did. These guys know their jobs! They don't just look in a book, they think outside the box. Our Jeep needed a part and like everything else, not available until..... Well when you need your car, you can wait. These guys looked at what was broken and missing and.... wait for it.... MADE THE PARTS NEEDED! They made it stronger than the OEM parts would have been. The made a new customer! Thanks guys!

Tucker and Jackie are honest and do a good job. I've tried several places before and have been left so unhappy. But Read's auto fixed my car right the first time. It was the first time since moving to Wallingford where I didn't leave an auto-repair shop frustrated and upset. Thanks Read's! Now it's the only place I'll take my car.

Jackie and Tucker are wonderful mechanics, very honest and trustworthy. They've been my family's go to shop for almost 20 years now.
