I highly recommend anyone looking for restoration service to meet Adam and the Team. My Wife and I spoke to Adam and had a tour of the facility before starting work on a 03 Silverado SS. Adam understood our project and we are very happy with the communication and work that has gone into our 1st phase.Adam advised us of any concerns while work was being done. And gave me options and worked with me on making sure vehicle is safe on the roads. Also provided recommendations and performed some modifications which I requested. The work performed is excellent and it is a place I trust. Looking forward to next project after this one.

Throughly went through my classic car, provided priority of what should be fixed & what could wait. I really appreciate their honesty and they demonstrated right in the beginning that they knew what they were doing. Gave options & consulted me when needed to ensure they were meeting my needs. Extremely knowledgeable & professional to work with. They ordered the parts for me, vs other shops that wanted me to get the classic parts & provide to them. Getting parts ahead of time with classics can be tricky. Was a bit of a drive for me to get there but we ll worth it & will be going back again.

Adam and his whole staff are very friendly and helpful. They have worked on my car and my fiance's. They are honest, trustworthy and do great work. They were able to get my car in quickly and get it running smoothly again. This was my first time here and definitely won't be my last... I finally found my forever mechanics. I had a repair that other shops were hesitant or unable to do or fix. I called Innovative Adam got my car right in and called within hours with a diagnosis and estimate. They ran into unexpected problems and were fast to fix and still get my car back to me on time. Even with those unexpected problems repairs didn't come to more than estimate. Prices are extremely fair considering the great quality of their work!The group there are really good, professional, friendly, honest people.** Day after getting my car fixed -- I asked Adam to take a look at my backup camera that was so fuzzy you could NOT see ANYTHING he gave me a price for a new one which I chose not to do but he played around a bit with it and told me "It's a little better" Well it's the CLOSEST TO PERFECT I've ever had it! Now I see that if it's not PERFECT it's not fixed to this shop which is a GREAT perspective in this business! I can't thank all of you at Innovative Restorations enough!!While waiting for my ride I was looking at the restoration cars he had there and they were BEAUTIFUL show worthy cars! Although this business is primarily for restoring old cars, they were extremely helpful with my car. I needed more information on my check engine light and I called them up last minute to plug in the code computer and they told me to come on down. They were extremely helpful in providing me with more information, explanation of what was going on, and luckily able to fix my issue right there on the spot. The gentleman that helped me (I did not catch his name) was so nice as well. I greatly appreciated the help-I would absolutely recommend them in the future!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I inherited a 1970 Thunderbird when my Uncle passed away two years ago, and the car required restoration expertise that I was only able to find at Innovative Restorations. This is a car that has been in our family for 50 years, and carries great sentimental value. Innovative Restorations understands the personal connection my family has with this car, and has been respectful, and professional throughout the process. IR has knowledge, expertise, and a work ethic that is evident in every facet of their business. In particular, I would like to acknowledge Tony who maintained constant communication and ensured I was informed and satisfied. As an example, I was recently out of the country and Tony made the extra effort to send me photos and keep me informed of their progress while I was away. I brought my car in to have the alternator replaced. They provided me with a reasonable, detailed estimate very quickly. I liked that they told me what had to be fixed right away, vs what will need to be fixed in the future. They took the time to explain the repair to me which I appreciated. I had my car back within one day of dropping it off which was great. Very well organized and professional, I would definitely recommend and go back for future mechanical needs. Great to deal with, thanks again guys!

These guys are pros, i dropped off my 1965 Nova to have quite a bit of work done to it, (power steering conversion, power brake conversion, upgraded cooling system with electric fan and much more) when i first dropped the car off they did a complete inspection and gave me options on addressing each issue they found. They were more critical of the work being performed then i was, they kept me informed every step of the way either with email, phone calls, or photos. Anytime i needed to contact them they always picked up the phone or returned my phone call in reasonable amount of time.I am very happy and grateful for the work Innovative Restoration did to my car and i can't wait for them to start on my truck.Thank you Adam and Rich for a great experience.Gabe Scala

Fantastic shop. Very clean extremely nice friendly people to deal with.Very honest people and fair pricing.We had a few things fixed on a jeep nothing crazy.But the work these guys do on old cars is amazing! If you have and old classic car and need work done bring it here. The pictures of their work on the table in the waiting room are amazing enough but the cars they work on look better then the pictures.Great place great people would recommend them to anyone.

Adam and his team did a excellet job completing the mechanical upgrades and paint work on my classic Ford. Having had a bad experience with a previous shop that was incompetent and ill-equipped to perform the work, I knew from my initial meeting with Adam that they are a professional and extremely knowledgeable shop. My expectations were more than met with the quality and attention to detail that was shown on my project. I'm now a long lasting customer and would without hesitation highly recommend Innovative for all your automotive needs. You'll be in good hands there! - Chris

Adam did some general repairs to a used vehicle I purchased. They did a great job and got my vehicle in quickly. Very honest about what work needed to be done and explained everything to me so I knew what was going on. I just needed a simple headlight bulb replacement and the guy from advance auto parts recommended innovative restorations. He changed the bulb within 5 minutes of me being there and didn t charge me a dime. They are professional, kind, and honest! We had a mishap with our garage door that scratched the side of our F150. I brought the truck down as a walk in, to see if they could fix the scratches and possibly paint.The shop was great... They opened a space the next morning and fixed everything within 2 hours of dropping off the truck.. These guys are true professionals in their craft and very easy to speak with. While there, I was informed they are a full maintenance shop. Engines, body work, brakes, etc.....I highly recommend their work and look forward to future visits.

I came to Innovative Restorations for some non-emergency, but important mechanical work. They fit me into their schedule quickly, as it was my day off and I really appreciated their flexibility to accommodate my schedule. The technicians were both courteous and knowledgeable. There was a pleasant waiting area that was clean and quiet. You can tell that a lot of care goes in to making sure their customers are comfortable. If you re a car person there is a lot to look at and admire here. I highly recommend Innovative Restorations!

The guys at Innovative are top notch. My wife and I had our vehicle fixed here. The communication was great, the deadlines where met, but the quality of work is where this place really shines. Another point I would like to mention is how clean and organized the working area was, these folks really take pride in their work. I would gladly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for quality professional body work, paint, restoration, and repairs.

This shop is trustworthy- what else do you need in a repair shop?! I had not had great success finding an automotive shop I feel isn't just going to try take me for every penny-UNTIL I found Innovative Restorations! I will admit I don't have great knowledge about cars but I can grasp most concepts if explained. The guys at Innovative Restorations took the time to explain everything to me. They always told me straight what I should have done now and what could wait. In June 2020, I brought my car to Innovative after being told by a shop in Meriden (who had done an emergency repair on a flat tire) that I needed my rear struts replaced because they were leaking, a repair estimated at just under $500. I took this info to Innovative. I also needed to know if my car, which is a laaaaate model vehicle (which equals plenty of possible issues), could make a 900+ mile drive as we were moving out of state. They looked over my whole car and told me it was all set to go on the trip- they just needed to replace a few lightbulbs and my wipers. They were confident the struts were not leaking then, and in fact there wasn't evidence of a leak at all.Now keep in mind I was leaving town, so they had no loyalty to me as a future customer yet they did the stand up thing and gave me an honest assessment of my vehicle- bringing it up to proper safety standards and not charging me for an expensive repair that was not needed (but I had pretty much expected because of the other guy). My car made the trip without issue and thank goodness they changed the wipers because it rained hard on the drive!You don't find integrity, honesty and caring in business much any more-it's all about the money. The guys at Innovative Restorations love cars and their business. I was proud to support this local business in Wallingford CT and would recommend them to anyone (including my parents-which I have). Only wish they weren't so far away now!

Each time my car is serviced Im treated with professionalism and respect. The service is top-notch and these guys are meticulous when it comes to detailing or correcting blemishes in the paint. Don't hesitate to check them out if you have any concerns about your vehicle!

Very knowledgeable and professional. They advised me what was worth repairing cost wise on my 68 cadillac and what would be a bad investment. Very trustworthy honest and quick. Today, I adventured to Auto Zone to replace my wipers. I know very little about cars and always rely on the good nature of people to help me out. A man from the store came out and helped me attach my wipers but while doing so, noticed they were not properly aligned. The man referred me to Innovative Restorations to check it out. Little my knowledge, they were actually closed today! As a favor, Adam and another gentlemen took me and in fixed my wipers (AND fixed my tail light that had gone out!!) with no charge. They were very informative, helpful, and kind. Thank you again!

I found Innovative when I needed some urgent work done on my car. Not only did I find a mechanic I can trust (rare these days), I also have a one stop shop for all of my auto body needs as well. Honest, fair prices, do it all - would highly recommend.

A group of honest guys that do great work. They spent extra time to do a more thorough job & didn't charge a penny more than what they quoted me initially. As someone who was under a lot of financial stress at the time it really meant a lot. They even helped me when I locked myself out of my car. That's just the kind of guys they are. You might say to yourself that they must be doing something right to be as busy as they are & have such great reviews. You'd be wrong. They're doing everything right.

Had some custom work done on my '48 Desoto here and I am very happy. Very knowledgeable and can do it all start to finish. Also had them restore an old Murray pedal car for my daughter that came out amazing. Just picked up a second pedal car and will definitely have them restore this one as well.

I searched for a shop that would work on a 40 yr old foreign car. Just moved to town and couldn t get my old plates off . The owner helped me out without hesitation. Can not recommend this place enough!!! Very old school customer mentality that more stores need to model . So grateful for them helping in a pinch .
