I needed similar work done on a second car, both being sideswiped. After my 1st experience with them, I asked for them, and they weren t on this particular agent s list. As in the first case, G&J did great work, and their overall customer service was excellent. If I had photos from this device, I d upload some. Maybe, I ll get back and add on, if possible. Again, not just the work, but the service as well.

Got work done here because Geico referred them to me. HUGE MISTAKE. Car hasn t drove right since. There was work done on the front end, parts that were replaced by them went bad, my car started to smoke like it caught fire. I have an itemized list of all the parts replaced, but when I was in communication they claimed they never worked on the parts I identified and showed pictures. I would seriously think twice before I get work done here. Even if you have to pay a little extra at another repair show, the peace of know you and your family is safe is worth it. Don t jeopardize you and your family safety by going to G and J auto. It s better to learn from other s mistakes and to have to go through it. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. I had nothing short of an amazing experience! Cheryl was super helpful and very kind. I was struck from behind by another driver and they handled everything in the most professional way possible. I will certainly bring my vehicles here moving forward.

So I had collision work done here on my 15 Scion TC, and it was quite a while ago, but they never pulled the dent out of passenger fender, and I think there was a little paint work done on plastic bumper. As from what I am seeing there was no replacement of broken clips, it looks plastic welded. Pulled off and exit ramp, hit a pothole...and bumper cover just popped back leaving a nice gap, now That I moved to Florida how am I supposed to this fixed.Service: Body & Trim

Jordan did a great job with my car! My whole passenger side looks sparkling brand new ! I would totally recommend this place! On top of that my rugs were filthy and they cleaned my car inside as well! The front staff is very friendly and so helpful as well! Thank you all so much! & thank you again to Jordan for staying after hours to finish my car! Very happy camper!

Our car was repaired at G & J after an accident. Some bolts were not installed correctly and the radiator hose was rubbing against a belt which eventually caused a hole and it to lose all the fluid. Because of this we needed to install an entire new motor which cost almost $5000, and they are denying any fault. I would never take my car here again and would never recommend it to anyone. Also, the general professionalism of the place is lacking.As an update, we had to have their work completely taken apart by a dealership because it was done so poorly and causing damage to the vehicle and engine. The dealership was amazed at how bad their work was. Never go here. Take your car anywhere else. We ve had years of issues because of their terrible work.

If there was a way to give this place a ZERO &POST A REVIEW I WOULD HAVE!! This is the WORST PLACE TO GET YOUR VEHICLE REPAIRED!! Should've learned on my old car when I went for a vehicle repair & the owners SON JORDAN told me I had nothing wrong with my car. I literally left and went down the street to a different shop & barely 15 minutes later the repair shop showed my how one of the arms /bars that attached my tire to the car was broken &&that my car was NOT SAFE TO TAKE OFF THE PROPERTY UNLESS TOWED. Since thenI have bought a brand new 2018 car & unfortunately 1month later got hit from behind. $16,000 in damage and my car still is not fixed!! From rattling metal noises, to bubbles in my paint to VISIBLE PAINT DRIPS , areas over sanded, trunk lid making noise, damage from the wrecker- the list goes on! 4 times I went back to the owner, showing him what was wrong & 2 MORE times I was sent over to Toyota. Both times at Toyota they fixed damage on my car that was left from the accident. The last time I got my car back from G&J the paint STILL HAD BUBBLES. THEY LET 1 PERSON SCREW UP MY PAINT JOB 4 TIMES!! On that particular day the owner George got out right nasty with me yelling at me in front of my Child saying "well its not my fault you were in an accident". Upon taking the matter back to the insurance company, they reached out to G&J to find out what was going on with my car repairs and George said if I wanted my car fixed now I had to take it to the state!!

Money hungry. Would not recommend to anyone. Dismantled car inside before I signed any documents. I can understand outside for estimates but not inside.. Car was confirmed totaled and it was a huge struggle to retrieve my belongings inside as parts were just inside everywhere. Some items were taken out of vehicle in process of internal dismantle. Now some items are "lost".

Not the best. Not even bothering to tighten bolt's on rear bumper and some pieces were not replaced. Pretty tackey overall. Unfortunately that is what a old school body shop is. Regardless the car is running. No thanks to them . After all they are in bed with the insurance company's. What can you expect.

Worst auto body shop ever! Very long and detailed review PLEASE READ. Since they "repaired" my car eight months ago, I've had to go back 4 ( yes FOUR!) times for loose trim pieces, loose door lock, shoddy paint job, and incorrectly installed front axle. I only had my car repaired hear because Gieco recommended this shop. This shop is to be avoided for the following reasons:1) Altough Gieco recommends using this shop, they don't prohibt the policy holders from using a shop of their choice. However, before G & J will even inspect your vehicle, you'll have to sign a wavier stating that Gieco didn't recommend or refer you to this shop. ( I read later that this waiver/authorization is illegal under Connecticut law).2) Gieco has an adjuster on-site and even an office in the building. If that one adjuster is out-of-the-office, good luck getting help on the status of your claim. My claim was delayed over a week while my waiting for the ONE on-site adjuster to show up for work.3) Slow and shoddy repairs. I've been back to the shop 4 times and have wasted over 14 hours of my days off waiting for repairs. Good thing Gieco gives you a lifetime warranty on the repairs because YOU WILL NEED IT!4) Lastly, and most importantly, this shop only accepts cash, cashier's checks, and insurance checks. No form of Credit/Debit cards or personal checks are accepted. Basically, any form of payment you could stop, dispute, or charge back is NOT accepted. As s consumer, you have no protection once the cash changes hands.TL,DR Avoid this shop at all costs. Gieco, or any insurance provider, cannot force you to use this shop. Repairs are slow and shoddy; and shop has a cash/cashier's check only policy. Please choose another shop, any shop. Thanks for reading.

Trash complete trash . Customer service is like talking to a three year old. Im honest the repairs were good , but after waiting three weeks they should have been!! I cannot tolerate business owners who talk to customers however they like. Be aware and(G)arbage & (J)unk learn some professionalism!!

Something fishy is going on with G & J Auto Body and Geico....Brief story:Car was damaged. Geico recommenced G & J Auto Body as the preferred shop for CT. Car was towed to shop to get an estimate.G & J did work to the car unauthorized and off the books, manipulated the estimate, and didn't provide any proper diagnostic reports. Everything was extremely vague and undocumented. (IE "compression test good.")The incident actually ended in me dropping/reversing the claim and settling with geico to remove all records of the incident.I fixed the car out of pocket and switched insurance companies.To add insult to injury, the owner is absolutely insane - the shop is a mess (tinted windows and no public allowed LOL).I'm really not even sure how this operation is legal or even still happening. This place is the biggest insurance scam ever.
