We had been going to Frenchy s for years. They told my son it was the alternator and he asked if they would put it in if he bought the part and they said yes but no warranty on the part, which is fine except he brought the car home and it s not running again - either they didn t put it in right or it wasn t the alternator, either way they should stand behind at least installing it or diagnosing it correctly. Very disappointing.

The muffler on my car went. Called and they took me in today and replaced the muffler and the windshield wipers on the front and it only cost me $177. I was shocked because if I had taken it to a dealership it would have probably cost me double or more. We will be taken our vechiles to Frenchys from now on.

My experiences have always been positive with Frenchy's. I brought my son's car for emissions, and their door for emissions was being worked on. The guy let me know it would be about a half hour and I could wait or come back. I chose to wait. I really respect when a business is honest and upfront with me, leave the choices up to me.

Get yourselves organized. And clean up the language there s old ladies and children 5 feet away in the waiting room!

Had my tire replaced and within a 2 months tire exploded .. they told me take it up with manufacturer. Stay away from these people they will rip you off $$$.Bottom line frenchy super expensive stay

They did an amazing job buffing out some scratches and doing some touch up work. They don't take on this type of work, but made an exception and I greatly appreciate it. Their customer service is exceptional.Service: Auto detailingService: Auto detailing

I only went there to have my emissions done. When I was waiting a few people came in to have their cars fixed and I heard them say they would go there because they are dependable and do not try to make you have other things fixed in your car that doesn't need it. So I recommend anyone who needs any type of car work done go there

I was pleased with their service. Took my car for an emissions test. There is no need for an appointment. You sign in as soon as you walk in. Short wait.

Went here for emissions testing. No appointment needed just drive up give them the keys and 20 mins later have your results.

Dropped my car off to have my front brakes replaced. After the initial installation, my brakes are scraping. Dropped my car off a second time to correct the issue. My brakes are still scraping. Honesty, great service, and communication has made this my go to place for all my late model and performance auto repairs. Joe is great to talk to. All my repairs have been made with high quality. Very knowledgeable advice that does not always just benefit the shop. On several occasions the advice has saved me money and gotten the right repair.

Absolutely amazing! Our car had broken down and I didn't have the tools on the side of the road to fix they were able to get the part when even the dealer couldn't! Then when we got there RJ changed the alternator in 16 minutes!! Also got a quote for body work and they sent it the next day. Great service and being a mechanic myself I'd highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Used to use this garage for work on fleet vehicles that we used at a company that I used to work for. Punctuality was always an issue with them then. And more recently had a dealing with them on a different issue and it appears that accessibility and answering phones proves to be a foreign concept; which usually make it difficult for one to operate a successful business. I brought my car in for some minor work and unfortunately when they finished the work, someone parked my car on a concrete footing and damaged my air dam underneath. The owner apologized and had it repaired for me by the next day. First rate service and high integrity. I would recommend them to anyone.

Went for Emmissions Test. I was able to schedule an appointment after I ran an errand and they were ready for me before I got back. The test took less than 10 minutes. They were very informative too, regarding what to do with my paperwork, when to expect something in the mail, etc.

Great local place. Fast service, reasonable prices, good quality repairs. This family business has been open for almost 50 years, and serves mostly local Wallingford customers. They do car and engine diagnosing, repairs, tune ups, oil changes, and they are certified emissions testers. They do some body work, but it is not there specialty. Discount services common among frequent customers.

They replaced my engine for a 2013 Kia Soul, that had a dud engine which should have been a recall like all the other Kia models. They got me a refurbished engine for a much better deal than new. Awesome customer service.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

George did an amazing job on my Honda civic which was dented and a mess from being hit on the highway...Josh the owner is very professional, and the customer service was excellent as well as Frenchy's keeping in touch with me regarding my car.. listen I understand the stigma of used car places, local auto body shops, etc. Frenchy's is not the norm. Eddy is phenomenal, honest, and they do good fair work. On numerous occasions I have been quoted a higher price, which was still cheaper than the competition, and when I went to pick up my car I am paying even less because it took less hours than expected. Can't say enough about them, but if you go anywhere else you are an absolute fool.

Eddie is always personable and My family has trusted Frenchy's for years. This is an honest and real place to get your car fixed - they will not rip you off. Once I left and they had heard of a bad car accident near where I was headed - Eddie called me to make sure I got back to work okay - can't get better service than that!

After another place quoted me an astronomical price for repair work, my girlfriend suggested Frenchy's, a shop she's been going to for many years and swears by. They did an inspection, told me there was less repair work than the previous place wanted to charge for, and gave me a reasonable price. Good guys, I recommend them.
