Bought a motor from a dudeThat had it built there at eg machine shop in CTBack in 1999The same people are still building as of 2021 today.I just bought motor in 2017Never firedWas a good feeling that the same owners still doing it to this dayThey refreshed itA Ford 347 xxxblock 11-1 compression-with Canfield heads and all of the best parts.With 30lb injectorsI just installed a Holley Tremator x kitI'm a happy camperIt made 412hp at crank NAWith much more in itHope to run it this year at Lebanon ValleyI recommend this shop for all motor rebuildsFrom stock to wild even the oddest old motorsKnowledge isnt easy to come by now a days!Great PeopleThank You for your service

Very professional and took me in a emergency of sorts! Traveling tomorrow! Had my car fixed and ready by 10 am! Couldn't ask for better! He has made a new client for sure. Keeps you updated with texts. .can't say enough! Now off to my son's wedding!! Thank you

Slooooow beyond believe, would tell you anything you want to hear to keep you calm to only make up another excuse later on. I brought my engine with everything needed for the the rebuild it took them A YEAR! to do my engine. This was well before the virus outbreak. I would not recommend unless you like headaches, excuses, and tossing your build schedule out the window... waiting.

Frank and the guys at E&G Automotive Machine are honest and knowledgeable about all engine makes, and they're capable of true high performance engine building, including porting heads, port matching and engine blue printing, balancing, and clearancing.Crank grinding is a specialty, including stroker cranks.It helps if you know, and can explain exactly what your needs and performance goals are.Once you do, they'll get your engine to perform to that level.They can do block repairs. Not a lot of shops around with that capability.They do complete machining and rebuilding of any make of engine for everyday cars & trucks, and industrial engines as well.They've been in business here for over 35 years. Frank has 40+ years experience in automotive engine machining.

I've been using these guys since 1998 and never had a problem with any work they have done for me. They have done everything from Chevy motors to stroked Audi engines. Lucky to have this shop local.
