Been a loyal customer for over 15 years.Mechanic services-- superior service. Will never overcharge and respects people. Every person I've referred here is happy and also becomes a loyal customer. Family business. Owner and all employees speak respectfully to everyone including women. Answers questions and explains in ways that the non-mechanic people will understand. Stands by their work and does not upsell unnecessary fixes or services. This is not while you wait. No walk ins. Make appointment. Most repairs completed same day or by next day. Very popular.Used car sales-- the real honest used car dealership. They have lots of classic cars and a lot of no haggle, reliable, and affordable cars. I've bought 2 cars there. They do not sell any car that the owner, Chris, has not approved. He will not sell anything he would not give to his own parent or child. The price is the price. No padding. So none of the song and dance that makes used car buying so terrible. This is the place to go if looking for a used car.Business-- this is not a while you wait garage, however, they do have an ever rotating display of the owner's classic restored cars so give yourself a minute to ogle. The lot is packed (very popular business). Once again, do not drive in expecting a repair. They book a week in advance. They do maintenance, repairs, and body work, too. They have multiple bays that are full at any given time. They have a website that shows the cars for sale, but call if you are looking because not everything is on the site (especially if you are looking for something specific like a starter car for a teen). EVERYONE in the local auto industry knows the owner Chris and respects him (after market parts, tire sales, tow trucks, scrap yards...). When looking for that one part or that one car, Chris can either find it or put you in touch with someone who can. Great business who never needs to advertise; decades of happy customers are all the ads they need.

My car went in for what I expected to be a couple hundred dollar repair. I ended up needing a new engine. Throughout the process, I was treated fairly, respectfully, and with real consideration for what was best for me and my car.I approved the estimate I was given. The actual bill came in considerably lower than the estimate. That s honesty.Trust is hard to earn when it comes to anything to do with cars, especially as a woman, but Cerrito s has all of mine. That s really hard considering I ended up paying a couple thousand more than anticipated.

Was recommended this place by other customers. Glad we went here. My boyfriends car got stolen & they did quite a bit of damage. All other places quoted astronomically & gave us a minimum 3 week repair time. Everyone at Cerritos was so nice, transparent, laid back, and professional. They didn t nickel and dime us and treated us as individuals which I appreciate. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone & will be a customer in the future. Thank you Cerritos!

I have bought several cars from Chris over the past 28 years and counting. He sells quality cars. He services what he sells, plus whatever he hasn't sold. Fair prices, good quality. He cares about what he sells. Plus he's the most straight forward of any used car salesman I have ever met - this the loyalty.

Made an appointment to have some paint work done on my truck weeks out. Dropped it off on the scheduled date. Got a phone call a 4 days later that they weren t able to do the work at the current time and would call me back when they were able to. They never did. Wasted a lot of my time and had to find another vehicle in the meantime due to them and all for nothing. Pretty upsetting considering the many good reviews.

I had the opportunity to have my car repaired by Cerritos Auto Body Shop. I can't praise them enough for the service I received as well as the excellent and timely repair on my Nissan Murano. The girls in the office are excellent and caring. I would recommending them highly. Thank you..

I really can't say a bad thing about this place. They are honest and upfront about pricing. They do their best to get you in quickly. They do exactly what you want done, and they don't try to talk you into stuff you dont want. And, of course, the repairs are done professionally and properly.

Brought a Honda in last week on a Wednesday to have it looked at to know what was wrong. Dropped vehicle off at 0800.They called at 1100 to say they needed to powerwash the vehicle engine and find leak. They finally called after 5 pm to say there was multiple leaks and to pick up the vehicle. Paid for the service and scheduled the first available appointment for Wednesday 01/25. Brought the car in at 0800. Were told they were short on staff they may not be able to fix the exhaust and the leak same day. Never received a call. Get a call 0820 next day to say they found the leaks, instead of fixing them. And car will be kept for the next few days. Obviously we're upset nothing got done yesterday and already lost two days of work due to the car being in the shop for 2 mornings. And they then proceeded to tell us to come get the car, they're not working on it. Because they will not be questioned about what goes on in their shop. Avoid at all costs.!!!!

I have had the great luck in finding this amazing business that believes in customer service, and demonstrates consistent integrity and honesty in all of their practices. We have purchased their vehicles in the past, along with their maintenance, and Chris is respectful, honest and very fair with his prices. Today I learned that my car battery needed to replaced. I called the office, and despite them being a very busy shop, they took my car in right away. In under 10 minutes they replaced my battery, and even drove the car right to me in the parking lot.Having mechanics and staff you can totally trust- it s peace of mind- and priceless. Thank you, Cerritos for all you do each day. I appreciate you very much.

I haven't been here personally, but so many people in Wallingford rave about them that I sent a good friend here to get her daughter's first car. They had the best experience from the point they walked in the door until they found the car of her "dreams" for her 17 year old daughter. They were wonderful to them, honest and worked with them to find a price that could work. They left buying a car she loved with the warranties and service help they will need if anything goes wrong. I will gladly send anyone else I know who needs a previously owned car, to them.

Had great service with my emissions test. They were kind , attentive, and fast! The facility has a waiting area with snacks and coffee! They are awesome! Would recommend!

Back in 2008, I was shopping around for my first vehicle. My father recommended Cerritos, and I'm glad he did. I bought a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer from them, that I ended up having for the next 13 years, and that's because of the care and quality of service Chris and his crew gave me. Cerritos is by far, the best used car dealer and repair shop I've ever been to. They're honest, upfront, fair and work with you.

Had a nasty little scratch, complete with dented metal and serious paint chipping in the rear quarter panel and door of my brand new car. Chris gave me a very fair price, coming in several hundred less than the other auto bodies I got quotes from. The repair was quick, just 4 days and the work was truly excellent. When I say it looks good as new, it really does. They did an excellent job.

Chris is a great guy, fair and the cheapest, highest quality mechanic you will find for a used dealer. I've bought 4 cars from him all lasting me over over 3 years each with no major problems. I'm on my fourth car only because of my own negligence and bad drivers on the road...

Huge shout out to Cerritos for their excellent service! I needed my brakes replaced and they were highly recommended by a friend. Not only did they fit me in on short notice, but were able to repair my car same day. Thank you Cerritos for such a positive experience.

I usually do my own work so I haven't had a mechanic picked out that I trust. After reading the reviews for Cerrito's I figured I would give them a shot. My 2012 Honda Pilot was acting up and after looking online I found there were too many possibilities for me to mess with myself. When I called for an appointment they were busy but said if I drop it off they would try to sneak it in. A few hours later they called me and let me know I was all set! Fast friendly service and very fair price. I will definitely be back and would recommend them in a heart beat.

Cerritos brought my car back to life! My Honda Civic has almost 250,000 miles on it. When the power started going (if I took my foot off the gas my car would nearly stop immediately insteaD of coasting) and I complained about it to my previous mechanic a few times over the last year and nothing fixed it, I thought it was just the miles catching up finally. Then I brought my car into Cerritos for an alarm that wouldn t stop because I was nowhere near my mechanic and my friend had referred me to him. It has the torque back, it s zippy again, I have my car back! I don t need to get a new car just yet after all! Thanks Cerritos!!!!!!!

I can't imagine there is a better place in wallingford to bring ones' auto for service or repair and a great place to buy a used vehicle as well. I recently had the body shop fix an 07 Impala that had been in an accident. Very, very very satisfied. Chris treats everyone with fairness, honesty & respect.

Recently purchased a used car from somewhere other than Cerritos. Had so wanted to purchase from them but the timing wasn't right in regards to their inventory and my desperate need for a car. Shortly after my purchase, which I'm already regretting, their inventory increased. See what I mean by bad timing. I had wanted to purchase from Cerritos because they are one of the most trustworthy auto sales and repair shop I've encountered. Chris and his team are great. My only criticism would be that sometimes you're better off calling and checking back with them rather than waiting for their call especially if you're looking for a car.

My parents have been taking cars to Chris for a long time. After a deer decided the best time to cross the road was the second I was driving by they convinced me to bring my car there too. It's a 2004 Honda Civic with around 95k miles. Still had a long life ahead of it. I talked to Chris and told him I was really hoping to avoid the insurance company totaling it. He worked with them to make sure I could keep my car. I picked my car up today and it's unbelievable...I haven't seen it look that good since I drove it off the lot. Chris won't BS you. Do what you need to do to get your car done there.

Cannot say enough good things about Chris and his crew. I bought my very first car from him when I was in college. And today he saved me from a ridiculous quote from a dealership. He fixed my problem for about 10% of what they quoted. And same day too! I couldn't believe it! The crew there is great - so kind, patient and honest. Now I live in Middletown, but I will continue to drive to Wallingford to have Cerritos take care of my care. They're the only ones I can trust.

Between my brother and I, we have purchased four cars from Chris and they have all been good purchases. However, it was my experience on my most recent purchase that prompted me to write this review. I bought a 2001 Subaru and after a couple of months, there was a loud screeching sound. I brought it in to Chris and he tightened up the belts no problem, and threw in an oil change and refilled fluids at no charge, knowing I had just bought it and was going to drive it 1,600 miles to Oklahoma soon after. The very next day, the exhaust pipe snapped right by the muffler. I brought it in and, again, knowing I had to leave soon, he put on a new muffler and pipe, again at no charge. Chris is the type of mechanic to really take care of you and the cars on his lot are always a good value considering their age and how difficult it is to find cars at cheaper prices.
